Jamón ibérico is Spain's most celebrated cured ham, sourced directly from Spain and hand-carved on-site. Founder Jen Herman trained in Valencia, Spain, and became the first female-certified Cortadora Profesional de Jamón in the United States. From selecting the jamón to the final slice, every detail is thoughtfully curated to create an authentic Spanish experience for your guests.

    The jamón ibérico carving station was a huge hit at our wedding and something our guests had never seen before. The presentation was beautiful, La Cortadora was wonderful to work with, and everything was seamless from start to finish.

Jamón Ibérico is Spain's most celebrated cured ham, prized for its rich flavor, delicate texture, and complex nutty notes. Produced from Iberian pigs and aged for years, it is considered one of the world's great culinary treasures.
La Cortadora is ideal for weddings, wine tastings, winery events, VIP receptions, private clubs, and luxury celebrations. The live carving station creates an interactive experience that naturally brings guests together.
Every experience includes a whole Jamón Ibérico, Spanish picos, a traditional jamonera (ham stand), professional carving equipment, and up to three hours of live carving service. Additional pairings and enhancements may be added upon request.
Not much. I regularly work alongside event planners, caterers, wineries, and venues to ensure a seamless setup and guest experience. I'll coordinate any serving needs, setup requirements, and timing details in advance so everything runs smoothly on event day.
La Cortadora frequently travels throughout California for luxury weddings and events in San Francisco, Wine Country (Napa Valley and Sonoma), Carmel Valley and Los Angeles, as well as destination celebrations in New York City and beyond. Travel fees may apply.

Most Jamón Ibérico experiences comfortably serve 100–120 guests as a featured appetizer. Smaller and larger formats are available depending on your event type, guest count, and the jamón iberico selected.
