Amazing Brunch Wedding

We were so thrilled with the food! We had a brunch wedding with vegan options and all our guests raved about how good the food was. Princess was extremely communicative and answered all my questions. She delivered our food herself and is incredibly sweet. I’ve already sent her info to a few guests that were interested in hiring her down the road. Amazing.

Our beloved Mom passed away suddenly and I scrambled for a caterer for her celebration of life service in Vacaville. I had a long phone discussion with the owner Princess and she was able to pull together a menu that our Mom would have loved. Everything from that phone call to the day of my Mom’s service was nothing short of compassionate and professional. The entire crew worked so hard outside on a hot day and served quite a feast to everyone. The food was SO DELICIOUS. Cedric made sure everyone’s thirst was taken of care of as well and he was so kind! Our family and friends kept telling us how impressed they were with the entire operation and how kind and friendly the entire crew was. Oh, and did I mention that it was NOT break the bank expensive? Thank you from the bottom of our hearts during a very difficult time. Wow, just can’t say enough. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🪽🪽🪽😇😇😇

From Scratch with Love catered our wedding at Lake Tahoe (which is quite far from the business). I really like their menu because there are a lot of unique options. I am a vegan, and they have a great vegan selection! The initial communication with Princess was smooth and effective. On our wedding day, everything went very smoothly! Our food was delivered on time with no issues. Btw our guests particularly liked the smoked ribs, Tuscan chicken, and smothered potatoes!

We had From Scratch With Love cater our wedding dinner of about 90 people. The food was so good! The vegan Mac and cheese sang to my lactose intolerant heart. The chicken and waffle sliders were a crowd favorite. Princess was quick in answering questions and tweaking plans to fit our budget and needs. The catering staff were flexible. We had to move the dining area inside last minute due to high winds. We loved the food and From Scratch With Love made the process easy.

We had the pleasure of working with From Scratch with Love, owned by Princess, for our Celebration of Joy – Black Joy event in Santa Rosa, CA, and I can’t say enough good things about the experience. From start to finish, Princess was incredibly helpful, detail-oriented, and collaborative. She truly listened to our vision and helped bring it to life as we prepared to serve 250 guests, including children. Her professionalism and care made the entire process feel smooth and supported. The menu was absolutely amazing—blackened salmon, lemon chicken, rosemary roasted potatoes, Brussels sprouts, garden salad, and a flavorful vegetarian option of spicy chickpea curry over rice. Every dish was well-prepared and full of flavor. The Brussels sprouts were the talk of the event! I didn’t even get a chance to try them because they went so fast, but that alone says everything. What I did have—and will definitely be thinking about again—was the spicy chickpea curry over rice. I’m not even vegetarian, and it was absolutely delicious. Overall, the food was outstanding. You could truly taste the love and intention in every dish. Princess and From Scratch with Love helped make our event feel special, nourishing, and memorable. Highly recommend!
