(Name is pronounced Hasmeen, kinda like jalapeño) My goal is to be a source of joy and vulnerability in your life while helping you feel grounded on your big day and ~even more~ grateful for the life you live and the love you choose. 

Photography curated for those wanting candid, film-like, & documentary style memories. I specialize in capturing the raw, unfiltered moments that define your story, weaving together a tapestry of memories from every corner of the globe. No destination is too remote, no journey too daunting - I've traveled to over 25 countries in the last decade, so I'm happy to help with any transportation, cultural, or other destination logistics!

    Jazmin is an Absolute Gem

    I apologize if this is a long review, but there’s just so many great things about Jazmin. I found Jazmin on Instagram while in search of a Bay Area photographer for engagement photos and was drawn to her style. She was having an Instagram giveaway and just my luck, I won! And boy am I so happy because it gave us this amazing opportunity to meet Jazmin, have the most amazing engagement photos ever, now the most amazing wedding photos, and hopefully many more future milestone photos. We’re making our home into a Jazmin Hayes gallery at this point. From day 1, she’s been so communicative, sweet and kind. When it came to our engagement shoot, my phone led us to the wrong parking lot/area and no service (Mt. Tam). We figured maybe we’re in the wrong area? Luckily drove away and got service and found the correct area! Jazmin was so understanding and went straight away with telling us her ideas and taking photos as we were on a time crunch. She showed no signs of irritation or annoyance despite our mishap! We had the best time our engagement shoot and the view at Mt. Tam above the clouds was phenomenal. Jazmin was fun, easy to talk to, easy to work with and had great direction when needed. She even went above the allotted time for us even though she had plans that evening. You can tell she’s so passionate and it shows during the shoot/event and in her work. We got our sneak peeks within a week and our jaws were on the floor! Friends have even told us they want to hang OUR photos in THEIR home because they were so good. We immediately knew we wanted her to do our wedding, which turned into a civil ceremony. When it came to planning for our civil ceremony, Jazmin was such a huge help. We had video calls discussing our vision then timeline and she was so responsive to all my emails regarding any changes. She also sent us a little snail mail gift to help us plan. Such a sweet touch. She basically became our coordinator that day and it probably would’ve been a crazier morning without her there. Who knew you’d need a coordinator for a civil ceremony (the morning of at least). She helped move things along, get people going, which isn’t easy for a large group too with toddlers. Yet she remained calm yet direct and kind through it all. We had our ceremony at Marin Civic Center with our families and left plenty of time afterwards for photos. Though it was her first time shooting here, she did not disappoint. We had SOOO much fun and highly recommend giving yourselves as much time as possible for photos. Our sneak peeks came a week later and again, absolutely blown away. We’re having such a hard time deciding which photos we want to enlarge and frame because they’re just so many impeccable ones. And we haven’t even received our full gallery yet! I cannot emphasize enough how much you won’t regret hiring Jazmin for any event. Though she was above our budget, we don’t regret it one bit and I’m sure you won’t either. So easy to work with, so talented, and the best hype woman during the shoot/wedding day! If you’re debating about hiring her, don’t. You’ve found your photographer.

    The absolute best

    If you’re looking for the best Bay Area digital film photographer, look no further, it’s Jazmín! Jazmín is the sweetest and most professional person that you want on your big day. It’s like have a friend take care of you and all our guests adored her. Jazmín starts her process out and you can immediately see her kindness and professionalism. It’s a two-way interview where you feel special to be chosen by her as well. She sends out detailed questionnaires and surveys that help you navigate through the stressful times of wedding planning. I didn’t have a planner or coordinator, so it was really important to me that I fully trusted all of my vendors to operate on their own and make judgment calls that were aligned with mine. I chose Jazmín not just because I loved her photography and style, but because I fully trusted her and her personality made me feel at ease. She obviously really cared about my husband and I’s love story and wanted to make sure she captured everything we wanted. Her package included an engagement shoot where she also delivered the most amazing photos. It was great to meet her ahead of the big day to ease some nerves and also get a feel for how she likes to pose us and her style, which I loved!! Fast forward to our 3 month mark, it was time to go over our wedding timeline (again no planner). I had many gaps in my timeline that Jazmín flagged and we worked together to make it perfect, and she even booked a second call to help me finalize and feel at ease. Fast forward to the big day, she came early to scope out the venue and arrived to our getting ready location. It was hectic as I was on my bride boss duties rallying all the wedding party, but Jazmín was calm and fun and got all the excitement going to have amazing photos. I shared with her a list of poses and photos as inspo ahead of time, and she referenced them many times throughout our wedding day photoshoot making sure we got everything we wanted. Outside of photography, she helped my mom bustle my dress, cut her dinner short, and made friends with all our guests. They couldn’t stop talking about how much they loved her afterwards. We couldn’t have been happier with Jazmín and we’re so thankful to have shared our big day with her. Trust us, she’s the one!

    Thank you Jazmín!

    Jazmín was everything we could have asked for in a photographer! She was so responsive to our preferences and made sure we had all kinds of angles, poses, etc. while ensuring we and our guests were relaxed and enjoying the process. She gave us the perfect balance of posed photos and candids, so we were able to get amazing pictures and still have plenty of time to socialize during our cocktail hour and reception. Our photos turned out amazing, and we could not be happier!

    The perfect fit!

    We adored Jazmin and our work with her was so comfortable, joyful, and ultimately resulted in stunning, dreamlike photos. We were seeking low-key, calm vibes for our wedding day, and after meeting with Jazmin, we felt immediately at ease. What initially drew me to Jazmin was her photography, of course, and her adventurous streak and love/appreciation for nature that is reflected in her work. I did not want traditional wedding photos or overly posed editorial shots - I primarily wanted big nature shots, candids, and authentic memories captured. I could tell from her other work on her website, she would be ideal for this. Additionally, I was seeking a photographer who could do film and digital photos, which Jazmin can do (plus polaroids! which I loved). On the practical and professional side of things, Jazmin also really stood out. All of her communication was prompt, thorough, and attentive. There were surveys used to get to know us / our story better and to clarify exactly what we were looking for both the wedding day and our engagement photos. She also met with us on several occasions to talk things through and make sure we were on the same page. This gave me confidence that she not only knew what we wanted in terms of photographs, but she also cared to know as a couple. On a more personal level, Jazmin immediately felt like a friend. She is our people, and we knew we would feel grateful and comfortable having her as a part of our celebration! She is kind, caring, thoughtful, intentional, genuine, and talented - what a combo! On our wedding weekend, she was great company to have AND she nailed it with the photos - couldn't have asked for a better combination.

    AMAZING

    Jazmín is a truly exceptional human and artist. From day one, her communication and vibe were just so perfect. She is prompt, communicative, and immensely talented. She took my thoughts and notes into consideration and really captured the day exactly how I had hoped. Jazmín’s work perfectly represented our personalities while still maintaining classiness and timelessness. I would highly recommend hiring her as your wedding photographer, whether you’re in the Bay Area or beyond. She is one in a million!

Absolutely!! Film is one of my favorite ways to capture a wedding day. It's absolutely timeless and the feeling it creates is *chef's kiss*
yessireee I sure do! I'm happy to send this to your venue or whoever else may need it.
I include all photos that pass my quality check. This usually ends up being at least 50 photos per hour, but can very with weather, awesome dancers, or other hiccups and excitements that are impossible to predict. I will say, I tend to be shutter happy, so trust that you’ll be happy :)

I include an assistant/content creator in all my wedding packages at no extra cost to you. They help me carry my gear but also follow us around capturing your day on my phone! I send this to you within 24 hours of your wedding so you can relive your day over and over.
