If you want amazing???? Go with Duy
As a wedding videographer with over 15 years in the industry, I've worked alongside countless Bay Area photographers, each with their own style, personality, and approach to collaboration. Very few stand out the way Duy does. I first met Duy while working together on a three-day Indian wedding, which gave us plenty of time to see how each other worked under pressure, adapted to changing moments, and served our clients. Highly recommend Duy as a wedding photographer!
We booked Duy for the 10-hour wedding package, which included our engagement shoot, and he was absolutely amazing. My husband and I are usually awkward in front of the camera, but Duy made us feel so comfortable — our photos turned out beautiful! On the wedding day, he was with us from the first look through the end of the night, always friendly, calm, and easy to talk to. The group photos after the ceremony were super efficient thanks to his assistant calling out all the names — we were even ahead of schedule and had time to take more photos around the ceremony site before heading to the reception. Duy also went above and beyond to capture shots I really wanted, like with our floral arch, and they turned out beautifully artistic. He’s super responsive, and even the preview photos we’ve received are stunning — we can’t wait for the full set and our album!

Excellent Photographer and Experience
We found Duy while doing the rounds looking for wedding photographers, and after the fact, I'm confident we found the best person for the job. What I'm most impressed with is the vision he brought to the event based on the time of year, dress code, venues, etc. His direction and attention to detail showed through in the final product, and he was great at listening to one of our half-baked ideas and making it work! Beyond the pictures, Duy's calming presence was helpful throughout the whole experience, from the engagement shoot to the wedding. He's a great communicator and we felt like he was on our team throughout the whole experience. We always felt heard and truly hope to work with him again. Last but certainly not least, he was priced competitively and on the lower end compared to some of the other quotes we received.

Stellar photographer
Mandy Scott Events has worked with Duy Ho Photography many times since we first met as part of the team for a multi-day destination Indian wedding in 2014. Duy is the photographer I most often recommend to my clients. He does not consider himself an artist but a craftsman; I see him as both. His images reflect a unique artistry crafted from years spent figuring out the use of natural light and framing of his subject. He tells the story of the wedding day for his clients capturing emotion and documenting the events as they unfold in an unfussy way. He is always well prepared ahead of the event and exudes a calm energy throughout even the most hectic and longest of wedding days. He is quick to deliver a sneak peak to clients right after their big day and their gallery is always delivered in a timely manner. Can you tell I'm a huge fan of his work?!

Duy is one of the best I've ever worked with
I've worked with Duy Photography on over a dozen weddings. Every time I work with Duy it's the most pleasant experience. His style of photography works really well with how we work with our couples! I'd say Duy creates a calm and stress free environment. He moves things along at a good pace that doesn't make the couple feel rushed or overwhelmed. Like Duy, we like our photos and video to look and feel natural and just letting the couple express the emotions and smiles in an organic way. His style is non-intrusive, no big flashes, umbrellas or obnoxious reflectors. You get a highly skilled and professional photographer who will just blend right in with your family and friends.
