As a wedding planner, I’ve worked with a lot of catering teams, but Midsummer Kitchen is in a league of their own! I absolutely love partnering with them, and they never fail to blow me (and my clients) away. Their plant-forward menu is such a breath of fresh air—beautifully crafted, packed with flavor, and totally satisfying for all types of guests. They make vegetables the star in a way that’s not just creative but downright delicious. What really sets them apart is their customer service. From the initial planning calls to final details, they’re collaborative, attentive, and just so easy to work with. They genuinely listen to what my clients want and always have amazing ideas to bring everything together. On the wedding day? Flawless. Their serving and kitchen teams work like magic—completely seamless. Guests are raving about the food, plates are cleared at just the right time, and everything behind the scenes is handled without a hitch. Absolutely Fantastic

I hired MidSummer Kitchen to cater my wedding and it was absolutely fantastic! The food was phenomenal, everyone kept coming over to me during the reception to tell me how much they loved the food. Communication was so easy - quick responses, easy to understand, and always professional. The Midsummer catering crew during my wedding were also very professional and kind. Leading up to the wedding, I worked a lot with Cleodia. She was very kind, professional, and understanding whenever I had question or had to make changes to the plan. 2 months before my wedding, I had a problem with my venue and Cleodia was a great help. She helped me remain calm during my panic, helped me find possible new venues, and worked with me to create a quick solution to a major problem. I honestly don't think I would have found a new venue without Cleodia's help and I am very grateful. I would 100% recommend MidSummer Kitchen for all your catering needs. If I could rate higher than 5 stars, I would.

Midsummer Kitchen catered our July 2026 wedding in Berkeley, and they were phenomenal to work with. Cleodia is exceptionally communicative, their pricing is transparent and reasonable, and all of the service staff were fabulous. Everyone at our wedding raved about how delicious the food was, and we would highly recommend Midsummer to any couple looking for a delicious, seasonal, and thoughtful wedding meal!

Cleodia and her team were amazing caterers for our wedding and we cannot recommend them enough. Guests came up to tell us how great the appetizers and dinner were, and Cleodia helped us make a custom menu in the months prior. The staff was extremely friendly, professional and helpful on the day of, even helping us lay out other Thai desserts that they didn’t bring. We are so happy that we had them for our big day and hope that many more couples can have the same great experience by booking with them.

If you are considering Midsummer for any type of catering, go for it!! Midsummer was the perfect caterer for our wedding (June 2026). Wedding planning is stressful, but Cleodia will make sure that at least the food, linens, and drinks are stress-free. She is an excellent communicator, and worked patiently with us to customize the perfect menu. Our menu included a sub-free cocktail hour which Cleodia came up with an awesome drink menu for. She is so detail oriented that she was able to catch that one of our guests had an airborne allergy to one of our appetizers, and suggested we swap it out even though it was only weeks before the wedding. We felt comfortable that all of our guests -- regardless of dietary restriction -- would have a delicious meal. Onto the meal...the food was absolutely delicious. The salmon was moist, the pork belly with citrus glaze was perfectly tender, garlic rice was delightful, and one of our favorites was the delicious squash & chard with black rice. The tasting, while thoughtfully delivered to our home, did not hold a candle to how amazing the food tasted the day of. Service was impeccable, and they even packed us some leftovers that we could enjoy the next day because we barely ate at our wedding! All in all, I cannot recommend Cleodia and her team enough.
