Courtney Brewer Photography

With over 15 years of experience, photography has taken me around the world. From the plains of Zambia and the mountains of Taiwan to the streets of Budapest and the parties of Los Angeles. Now I am happy to find myself here in Northern California capturing people’s most precious life moments. As a photographer, my goal is to alleviate any stress that might come with event coordination and ultimately be a facilitator of joy!

I approach each wedding less like a checklist of expected shots and more like a unique environment to document thoughtfully. I pay close attention to light, setting, and human interaction, which allows me to create images that feel immersive and distinct rather than standard or repetitive. Rather than relying on overly posed or formulaic shots, I focus on capturing natural interactions, subtle details, and the overall atmosphere of your day. My goal is to deliver a gallery that feels intentional, visually cohesive, and true to you — not something that could belong to anyone else.

    High-Value Photographer

    We are really, really glad we chose Courtney to cover our wedding last month. It happened to be a pretty windy day and she totally made the most of it by working with the conditions and directing us appropriately. She was super chill and friendly, so we felt comfortable with her from the start. I'd also like to mention what amazing value we got with her compared to other photographers' pricing! I can't speak for what her prices might be now or in the future, but she definitely worked with us to provide an extremely reasonable rate for being such a talented and experienced pro.

    My wife and I were initially considering forgoing a photographer for our intimate wedding ceremony in Napa Valley. Part of the reason we almost went without a photographer is because we didn’t want it to be intrusive to the event and wanted to be fully present with our small group of family and friends for this deeply meaningful milestone. But after a recommendation from a family friend (thanks, Steve!), and reviewing her unique portfolio, we decided to hire Courtney. This was definitely the right decision. Our concerns were totally assuaged - Courtney was just the right mixture of discreet and stealthy while still being fun and helping my wife and I to feel totally natural and just enjoy the moment. Courtney’s down to earth energy, professionalism and levity helped us capture some truly amazing photos we’ll cherish forever. 10/10!

Definitely. All final images will be edited for optimization of color, alignment and brightness. Sometimes I also erase blemishes and remove distracting objects at my discretion.
There is no right answer to this, but the further before your wedding date, the higher likelihood of securing my service. I would suggest 3-6 months in advance, but I will always accept last minute requests so long as I am available!
It depends on my workload, but I generally guarantee final images to be delivered no longer than 7 business days after the wedding.
I prefer focusing on photography only so you can get the best wedding pictures possible. However, I am always happy to capture some iPhone clips if requested :)
You can expect about 80 to 100 images per hour of photographing. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on factors such as number of guests, venue, and location changes between ceremony, reception, etc.
Currently I do not. For this reason, I cannot photograph weddings with more than 100 guests or in cases with conflicting priorities (for example, photographing guests arriving if it is happening at the same time as bride getting ready with bridesmaids in backroom).
