From our first conversation with Courtney, we knew we had found the right photographer. She was warm and responsive throughout the entire planning process. During the wedding, she worked stealthily in the background, capturing genuine moments without being intrusive. What really impressed us was the quality of her editing—she went above and beyond with the details (for example: removing stickers from the bottom of my shoes that I hadn't even noticed until I saw other people’s iPhone shots of the same moment — oops!). We couldn't be happier with our choice and recommend her without hesitation.

We are really, really glad we chose Courtney to cover our wedding last month. It happened to be a pretty windy day and she totally made the most of it by working with the conditions and directing us appropriately. She was super chill and friendly, so we felt comfortable with her from the start. I'd also like to mention what amazing value we got with her compared to other photographers' pricing! I can't speak for what her prices might be now or in the future, but she definitely worked with us to provide an extremely reasonable rate for being such a talented and experienced pro.

My husband David, our pup Levi and I had our 23 year anniversary/wedding vow renewal on Irish Beach CA and were so honored to have Courtney Brewer Photography (Courtney) capture these loving beautiful memories for us. We didn't know the best spot for vows or specific photos but Courtney knew the best areas for everything on this very windy day which made it so much easier on us. She was very reachable, available for suggestions and had all of our photos back to us in 24 hours--even though it could have been 1-2 weeks! She engaged with me like we were longtime friends on our walk of the beach and put me at ease. She was so patient and sweet, even complimentary of our 1 year old chaotic Boxer which just made our day, even more! I wasn’t sure how to pick a photographer for my family event. I was drawn to Courtney’s competitive rates and good reviews, but what sold me was chatting with her. She seemed to really understand what I wanted—no formal fake smiles, just us having fun. Now I’m so happy I hired her. In short, she just took care of everything. Blended in, caught great candid shots. Her edits showed great attention to detail –and most importantly, my mother-in-law was impressed with the final photos! Not an easy feat.
