    An overall disappointing experience.

    We hired Juliana to handle the logistics and coordination as she was the coordinator required by our venue, Tahoe Church. We hoped this would allow the planning process and wedding day to feel seamless for our wedding of 100 guests. Unfortunately, I often felt like I was managing her, rather than having the support of a planner. I created our entire wedding timeline as well as a “wedding day binder” with every detail needed, including vendors, decor mockups, logistics details and more. While I was happy to plan many of the details, my biggest hope had been that Juliana would implement these on the day of, so that I could focus wholly on being with those I loved while I married the man that I love. Instead, I consistently had to follow up on unanswered questions and repeatedly remind her about logistics that should have been handled by her (e.g., following timelines, cues on the wedding day, communicating with vendors, photographers, and the bridal party, etc.). The lack of coordination ultimately resulted in several important details being missed or overlooked, including key family photos and our wedding being cut 30 minutes short. At our rehearsal and on wedding day, I was still answering questions, correcting décor placement, providing music, and reminding her of details I had provided months in advance. Juliana spoke abruptly, raised her voice, and rolled her eyes at myself, my family and my friends throughout the process. Although I do believe some of the logistical issues were compounded by the venue itself being unprepared, it still did not warrant unpleasant behavior. Per her contract, a key job duty was to create the timeline for our wedding day, and she did not complete this. Additionally, there was no follow-up communication after the wedding to check in, gather feedback, or address any concerns, which would have been appropriate from a professional standpoint. Communication was a major issue throughout the process, and we were also not properly informed about major venue renovations that significantly changed the space we had originally booked. Throughout the planning process, I felt dismissed when bringing these things to her attention. After the wedding, multiple vendors, friends, family members, and guests shared similar experiences of unpleasant interactions with Juliana. While our wedding was still the best day of my life, I cannot credit her services for that. Based on our experience, I would not recommend her services. I would also not recommend Tahoe Church as a venue unless significant changes are made. I was genuinely disappointed in the planning process and the day of coordination, especially given that her services are advertised as helping couples feel less stressed and fully present on their wedding day.

    Truly Incredible—Exceeded Every Expectation!

Absolutely! I’ve coordinated all sorts of events, both big and small. Not just weddings, but corporate events, baby showers, large birthday celebrations, anniversary parties, church events, etc.
Not on the same day. Possibly on the same weekend, but rarely.
I am a one woman show, however I do have other people in the industry that I love working with and will choose to bring them on for assistance if needed.
Depending on the coordinating package you choose, you’ll have a couple 30-45 minute discovery/planning calls with me before the wedding (can also be in person). Then we’ll have 1-2 hours for the rehearsal, and then 6+ hours for the wedding day.
