Welcome. I’m a southern girl, born and raised. Years ago, I drove to CA for the first time on a whim and well, I just never left. I love to travel, explore, and meet new people. My tiny dog, Gravy, is usually by my side. If there's fun to be had or a laugh to be shared, I'm in! And if you call me last minute to join you on a crazy adventure, I will say yes. Most definitely yes.

My approach is photojournalistic, I live for candids and real emotion. Your images should take you back to exactly how it felt on your day, not just what it looked like. Things that inspire me are; a beautiful love story, a crazy in love couple, pee yourself laughter, happy tears, a rad adventure, an epic view and some killer light.

    The Most Incredible Photographer 3

    Tammy is incredibly talented and we highly recommend her expertise photography skills for any important photography session you're hoping to capture! We really appreciate how eager she was to meet with us, understand our vision, and completely invest in our vision. She is incredibly patient, energetic, and caring - she transforms each photoshoot into happy and meaningful memories! Tammy also goes to great lengths to try to capture any shots you have in mind. I would chose her as my photographer for any life milestone and 10/10 recommend her to others! Her images capture genuine emotion and her ability to make everyone feel comfortable really shines through. We're so grateful to have our memories preserved so thoughtfully and beautifully.

    Phenomenal Photographer and Person!

    Tammy captured our wedding day and engagement photos perfectly. As a couple who isn't always comfortable in front of cameras, she helped us warm up, feel totally ourselves, and captured moments of our personality, emotions, and all of the moments we cherished (and even those we didn't get to see ourselves) on our wedding day. Tammy is incredibly kind, helpful, and a joyous presence when she is shooting. She is one of those people who can make anyone feel at ease and confident, and leans into the joy of your wedding day- you can tell that she loves the energy and excitement of what she does. Furthermore, the photos came out AMAZING. The lighting, framing, candid and staged shots are beautiful. All of our photos came out very authentic to us, felt unposed (even when they were a little bit!), and natural. She went above and beyond helping us with timing, a shot list, and other things we should consider about our day and flow. I would 100% recommend working with Tammy --she was the best vendor we worked with!

    The best photographer!

    100% recommended! Tammy photographed our elopement in Point Reyes, and we truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. She is incredibly professional, kind, and knowledgeable. Her familiarity with the area made such a difference—she suggested the most beautiful spots, and every location she chose was absolutely perfect. The photos are simply stunning, and our families and friends were truly impressed with them. This was our first time working with a professional photographer, and Tammy made it an amazing experience from start to finish. She helped us feel completely comfortable and at ease, and it was such a pleasure chatting with her throughout the day. She captured every special moment so naturally, without ever feeling intrusive. She was also wonderful with our dog, which meant so much to us! We adore her photography style—the images are breathtaking and truly look like scenes from a movie. We’ll treasure them forever.

    Most chill, photographer around!

    Tammy made my wedding day so relaxed and fun. She understood our style perfectly and mixed candid photos with a few posed artistic shots. She makes it easy to be photographed, especially for two camera-shy people. Not only did we mesh really well with Tammy, all of our guests also raved about how fun and friendly she was. She took charge when she needed and hung back and grabbed a ton of candids that we didn't even know she was capturing. I love our photos and looking at all the little pieces of our day. I can only describe our photo experience with Tammy as; like having a friend photograph your wedding who is also an artist, photographer, and businesswoman. I can not recommend Tammy Horton Photography enough.

    Happiest Bride!

    I can’t recommend Tammy enough. Our wedding day felt so magical that I honestly didn’t think photos could fully capture it - but they somehow exceeded our expectations. She caught so many candid, real moments, and every time we look at the photos, it genuinely feels like being back in the day itself. Beyond her obvious talent with a camera, Tammy’s presence was such a gift. She was relaxed, easygoing, and completely at ease with our guests, which made everyone feel comfortable and natural.
