We know what it takes to get a dance-floor moving. We make sure your dream day is actually your dream day. We treat each wedding each its own, working with each couple to ensure the music compliments the vibe they are envisioning for their wedding. Our process involves close communication and a shared spreadsheet / song sheet template we use to make planning the key songs for the day is a breeze. (Some couples want more control over their playlists, while others just give us a few "must plays" and we can work with wherever you are on the spectrum of influence on your playlist. LoveTap did an epic job at our wedding all night and kept the party going. Connor was easy to work with during planning and made sure we had all the important songs listed, and he was also as involved in our playlist as we wanted him to be. We were able to trust him to play music we wanted just by talking with us. Also, make sure to pair Connor with the live saxophone to get the entire dance floor rocking!

One of the best decisions we made for our wedding was choosing Conner! He was truly the talk of the night—even one of my close friends who’s a DJ couldn’t stop raving about how good he was. From our very first meeting with Conner, we knew we clicked. He matched our vibe perfectly and was incredibly informative, clearly laying out what to expect and exactly what was included. On the wedding day, he was nonstop—setting up lights and sound, making sure everything was perfect for both the ceremony and reception. What amazed me most was that, despite all of this, he still took the time to check in on my husband and me throughout the day. Conner also served as our MC, and his planning document was extremely detailed and organized, outlining exactly what would be announced and when. The entire process felt seamless and stress-free. Once the dance floor opened, Conner played all of my must-play songs and took it from there. The set was amazing—full of nostalgic tracks that had everyone excited and on their feet. It wasn’t an easy crowd to please either, starting with hip-hop and ending with emo (for my husband!), but Conner read the room perfectly and matched the energy all night long. We couldn’t have been happier.

Hiring Conner was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Music was incredibly important to us, and he delivered. He guided us when we needed direction, gave us room to make it feel like “us,” and made sure every detail, including the beach ceremony sound, was perfect. JB on the sax was unbelievable. He brought the energy up immediately and truly elevated the entire experience. Our dance floor was the most fun we have ever seen at a wedding, and our guests are still talking about how amazing the DJ and sax combo was. We truly could not imagine our day without them. Highly recommend.

I have been raving about our experience with Nem & Conner from The Love Tap for the last 6 weeks since our wedding, and every single one of our guests agree!! DJ Nem absolutely blew our wedding out of the water, and made our party electric!! He did such a good job of intertwining our favorites with fan favorites and oldies, and his mixing made it feel like we were at the hottest club in town where everyone wanted to be. For the last hour of our reception Nem executed our silent disco to perfection, and I have been receiving texts for weeks about how fun our dance floor was. 100/10 recommend DJ Nem & The Love Tap!!

YES! We've always taken requests even when playing nightclubs. Why? Because we're there to make the people in front of me dance, and often times if one person requests it - it's usually what others on the dance floor want to hear. Sometimes, the requests are off the wall, and playing them into what I'm already mixing results in some amazing live moments that create magic when DJing. We love requests! (Although if they are too off the wall, we might not play them... we use discretion to ensure your vision is brought to life.)

We only use Shure QLX-D wireless mics. These are top of the line and ensure you will not have any signal interference like most of the cheaper models, AND ensure everyone in attendance will hear your ceremony, vows, speeches etc.

Yes. We carry $2M of General Liability and add venues as the additional insured (as most venues require this).

We have played the top nightclubs in the majority of the major US markets sharing the stage with some of the world's biggest acts. Most wedding DJ's lack the experience required to truly move a dance floor. Each of our DJ's actually mixes the music and uses the turntable as an instrument, not just "hitting play." The result is a unique ability to transform what would otherwise be "just another dance" into an unforgetable journey through music.

All of our DJs are true "Open Format DJs". This means we play every genre and mix seamlessly between them, resulting in a dance floor that never stops moving.

We typically arrive 2-3 hours before the first guests are expected to arrive. This ensures we have plenty of time to setup, soundcheck, and change into our snazzy suit or tux ;)

We quote weddings as projects with an all in fee that includes travel and breakdown. Our standard rate covers anything near either of our 2 "home" markets (San Diego and San Francisco) but for weddings in LA / Palm Springs / Arizona / or abroad - we quote an "all in" rate for our services.

Absolutely! We only use the best equipment to ensure your ceremony is heard by everyone in your audience. We also have the ability to run fully on batteries which makes remote locations easy. (i.e. ceremonies on the beach or underneath a tree in the vineyard where power isn't readily available)

Typically we wear a black or blue suit, but for "black tie optional" weddings we can also wear a tux. ◡̈

Yes! we work with each couple to ensure I have any and all songs that are relevant or important to them and their guests pre-set and ready for the big day!
