We know what it takes to get a dance-floor moving. We make sure your dream day is actually your dream day. We treat each wedding each its own, working with each couple to ensure the music compliments the vibe they are envisioning for their wedding. Our process involves close communication and a shared spreadsheet / song sheet template we use to make planning the key songs for the day is a breeze. (Some couples want more control over their playlists, while others just give us a few "must plays" and we can work with wherever you are on the spectrum of influence on your playlist.     Love Tap DJ

    My husband and I used love tap for our wedding 6/20/26. We cannot begin to express our gratitude and appreciation towards Connor, Erik and Jason (sax). From the moment I saw love tap on instagram and spoke with Connor, I knew I had to have them. The entire team is kind, knowledgeable, detail oriented and FUN. They made personalized remix’s for my father daughter dance and remixed a voicemail of my husband to “we found love.” They brought extra gear to enhance the entire experience, and when we were having sound debacle with the venue, they lended their insight and suggestions. Erik was the DJ at our wedding (Connor CEO), and he was AMAZING. Every single guest at the wedding said the music is what made the wedding. He remixed songs perfectly, the vibes were incredible and everything sounded great/ went smoothly! Jason (sax) was incredibly talented and enhanced the atmosphere exponentially. I cannot suggest LOVE TAP, Connor & Erik more. We can’t wait to use them again for future events. They made our wedding 10/10!!! Book lovetap immediately!!!

    Unforgettable dance floor!!!

    Conner was so much fun to work with! We had the best experience working on our song sheet together. He was always super responsive, organized and easy to communicate with. When it came to the day of our wedding, he went above and beyond. Every moment and song was perfect. Plus we hired the live saxophone player and our guests loved it!! The dance floor went crazy!     LOVED your wedding. Your guests SHOWED OUT! That cocktail hour with the sun splitting the buildings is burned into my memory and the wedding reception was just simply perfect. That was my first time at Hortan Grand downtown and I'm looking forward to recreating that in the future because that space was simply perfect for creating the most romantic, french inspired new orleans vibe - that ended up feeling like marti gras level party vibes there at the end!     June 2026 Love Tap DJ Will

    Such a great experience with The LoveTap, from start to finish. We are from the Midwest and California was a destination wedding so communication was definitely important in this scenario. They asked the right questions to curate the best vibe for our day. Music is really important to us and I was pretty particular about who would be the right fit for our smaller, intimate wedding and The LoveTap knocked it out of the park! Once dinner and speeches were over, no one left the dance floor and that was our exact intention.

    Wedding of the Year!

    As the owner and seasoned Wedding & Event Planner with Blissful Weddings & Co. headquartered in San Diego, Ca; I chose the best of my best for all of the vendors hired for my daughter’s June 2026 wedding. LoveTap was my first choice (for DJ services) and they did not disappoint. Nem was exceptional (for our wedding reception) as was Kevin our live saxophone player (also for our wedding reception). We had people from all over the world attend the event and all of them complimented the DJ and his MC prowess along with the smooth operation of the music and integration of live music. It was in ……all of our guests shared opinions……..an “epic wedding weekend” (we had a lot of events leading up to the cocktail hour and reception) and LoveTap helped to make the reception portion epic as well.     Best DJ Ever!

    From our first conversation, The LoveTap made it clear they cared about getting our wedding day right. They answered every question we had and were flexible about working with our vision, which meant a lot since we had some specific song requests and timing needs. On the day of the wedding, they showed up early, set up without any fuss, kept us informed of timeline changes and kept the energy going all night long. The dance floor stayed packed because Nem read the room so well and knew exactly when to switch up the vibe. We got so many compliments from guests about how this was the best wedding DJ and how the live sax was a special touch . We'd hire them again in a heartbeat.

YES! We've always taken requests even when playing nightclubs. Why? Because we're there to make the people in front of me dance, and often times if one person requests it - it's usually what others on the dance floor want to hear. Sometimes, the requests are off the wall, and playing them into what I'm already mixing results in some amazing live moments that create magic when DJing. We love requests! (Although if they are too off the wall, we might not play them... we use discretion to ensure your vision is brought to life.)
We only use Shure QLX-D wireless mics. These are top of the line and ensure you will not have any signal interference like most of the cheaper models, AND ensure everyone in attendance will hear your ceremony, vows, speeches etc.
Yes. We carry $2M of General Liability and add venues as the additional insured (as most venues require this).
We have played the top nightclubs in the majority of the major US markets sharing the stage with some of the world's biggest acts. Most wedding DJ's lack the experience required to truly move a dance floor. Each of our DJ's actually mixes the music and uses the turntable as an instrument, not just "hitting play." The result is a unique ability to transform what would otherwise be "just another dance" into an unforgetable journey through music.
All of our DJs are true "Open Format DJs". This means we play every genre and mix seamlessly between them, resulting in a dance floor that never stops moving.
We typically arrive 2-3 hours before the first guests are expected to arrive. This ensures we have plenty of time to setup, soundcheck, and change into our snazzy suit or tux ;)
We quote weddings as projects with an all in fee that includes travel and breakdown. Our standard rate covers anything near either of our 2 "home" markets (San Diego and San Francisco) but for weddings in LA / Palm Springs / Arizona / or abroad - we quote an "all in" rate for our services.
Absolutely! We only use the best equipment to ensure your ceremony is heard by everyone in your audience. We also have the ability to run fully on batteries which makes remote locations easy. (i.e. ceremonies on the beach or underneath a tree in the vineyard where power isn't readily available)
Typically we wear a black or blue suit, but for "black tie optional" weddings we can also wear a tux. ◡̈
Yes! we work with each couple to ensure I have any and all songs that are relevant or important to them and their guests pre-set and ready for the big day!
