We know what it takes to get a dance-floor moving. We make sure your dream day is actually your dream day. We treat each wedding each its own, working with each couple to ensure the music compliments the vibe they are envisioning for their wedding. Our process involves close communication and a shared spreadsheet / song sheet template we use to make planning the key songs for the day is a breeze. (Some couples want more control over their playlists, while others just give us a few "must plays" and we can work with wherever you are on the spectrum of influence on your playlist.     Amazing

    The Love tap was fantastic overall. From the very beginning, communication was excellent. They were always responsive, helpful, and easy to work with, and we really appreciated all of the advice and guidance through the whole process. On the wedding day, Nem was amazing! He was friendly, fun, and professional, and whenever any little issue came up, he handled it quickly and seamlessly. It was such a relief knowing we could trust them without us having to worry about anything. The music was SO good! At one point, one of our guests actually came over to say goodbye because it was getting late and they were planning to head home. Later, I looked over and was so surprised to see her still out on the dance floor lol She said the music was too good to leave and up staying until the very end lol We’re so grateful we chose them for our wedding. They were an absolute pleasure to work with from start to finish, kept the dance floor going, and helped make the night so much fun. We would recommend them without hesitation!

    The best wedding DJ ever!!!

    When planning my wedding, one of the most important things to my husband and I was a lit dance floor and lovetap DELIVERED. DJ Will was incredible. The music, the lights, the vibes…. They crushed it all! Guests were even taking about how great the music and dance-floor was! If music and a packed dance floor is important to you, you gotta hire lovetap!

    BEST DJ EVER

    Conner, Will, and the LoveTap team exceeded our expectations for our wedding day DJ! Their team was so easy to communicate with, and they took in every detail of what we were wanting for our wedding. Since we love house music, Will was the PERFECT match for us. He played our "must plays" while also incorporating classics to keep the entire group on the dance floor. He was great at reading the crowd and our dance floor was packed the entire night. We got so many compliments on how fun our day was, and it is totally thanks to the amazing vibe that Will created for us. We couldn't have imagined a more fun dance party!!     BEST DANCE FLOOR EVER!!!

    We knew from the beginning that the dance floor was the most important part of the wedding day for us. DJ MytyMyke was ABSOLUTELY incredible - exceeded all expectations! It was the dance floor of our dreams. He understood our vibe and made it the most iconic dance party of all time. So much so that we even had wedding crashers! I (the bride) didn't leave the dance floor once for 3.5 hours. We will be talking about the dance floor for years to come. Thank you to The Love Tap and DJ MytyMyke for everything. Cannot recommend enough!!!!!!

YES! We've always taken requests even when playing nightclubs. Why? Because we're there to make the people in front of me dance, and often times if one person requests it - it's usually what others on the dance floor want to hear. Sometimes, the requests are off the wall, and playing them into what I'm already mixing results in some amazing live moments that create magic when DJing. We love requests! (Although if they are too off the wall, we might not play them... we use discretion to ensure your vision is brought to life.)
We only use Shure QLX-D wireless mics. These are top of the line and ensure you will not have any signal interference like most of the cheaper models, AND ensure everyone in attendance will hear your ceremony, vows, speeches etc.
Yes. We carry $2M of General Liability and add venues as the additional insured (as most venues require this).
We have played the top nightclubs in the majority of the major US markets sharing the stage with some of the world's biggest acts. Most wedding DJ's lack the experience required to truly move a dance floor. Each of our DJ's actually mixes the music and uses the turntable as an instrument, not just "hitting play." The result is a unique ability to transform what would otherwise be "just another dance" into an unforgetable journey through music.
All of our DJs are true "Open Format DJs". This means we play every genre and mix seamlessly between them, resulting in a dance floor that never stops moving.
We typically arrive 2-3 hours before the first guests are expected to arrive. This ensures we have plenty of time to setup, soundcheck, and change into our snazzy suit or tux ;)
We quote weddings as projects with an all in fee that includes travel and breakdown. Our standard rate covers anything near either of our 2 "home" markets (San Diego and San Francisco) but for weddings in LA / Palm Springs / Arizona / or abroad - we quote an "all in" rate for our services.
Absolutely! We only use the best equipment to ensure your ceremony is heard by everyone in your audience. We also have the ability to run fully on batteries which makes remote locations easy. (i.e. ceremonies on the beach or underneath a tree in the vineyard where power isn't readily available)
Typically we wear a black or blue suit, but for "black tie optional" weddings we can also wear a tux. β—‘Μˆ
Yes! we work with each couple to ensure I have any and all songs that are relevant or important to them and their guests pre-set and ready for the big day!
