We know what it takes to get a dance-floor moving. We make sure your dream day is actually your dream day. We treat each wedding each its own, working with each couple to ensure the music compliments the vibe they are envisioning for their wedding. Our process involves close communication and a shared spreadsheet / song sheet template we use to make planning the key songs for the day is a breeze. (Some couples want more control over their playlists, while others just give us a few "must plays" and we can work with wherever you are on the spectrum of influence on your playlist.     A Wedding Planner's Favorite!

    Conner & the entire Love Tap team go above and beyond every time!!! As a Southern California wedding planner, there are so many amazing companies and DJ's to choose from, but I can count on one hand the ones I'm consistently recommending and Love Tap is at the top!! The attention to detail, ease of the day, and the way they handle everything professionally and with excitement is why I'm able to do my job so well on the wedding day. 10/10 cannot recommend Love Tap enough!

    GREATEST TO EVER DO IT

    From our first conversation with The LoveTap, we knew we'd made the right choice. Their communication was prompt and clear throughout the entire planning process, and they answered every question we had with genuine helpfulness. On the night of our wedding, they absolutely nailed it—the music kept our dance floor packed from start to finish, and their thoughtful curation made sure every guest had a blast. They even brought sparklers and a thunder gun to really elevate the celebration, which was such a fun surprise. The quality of their work was hands down incredible, and we can't say enough good things about them. Honestly, they're the best DJ on the market and we'd recommend them to any couple in a heartbeat.

    Your wedding will be burned into my memory as one of the best vibes ever. The "thunder gun" is now what we will call the new C02 gun ahahaha. Love that! Congrats to you and Seajae on making it official! Not sure Park Hyatt Aviara will ever see a party so good. From start to finish that wedding was simply perfect. You guys are perfect.     BOOK THE LOVETAP NOW!!!

    Where do I begin?? I booked DJ Will to be my MC and wedding reception DJ and he was everything me & my husband could’ve asked for and more! We’re big hip hop & EDM fans and Will thoughtfully curated a set that my guests went crazy for. I did not leave the dance floor once! We also booked The LoveTap for lasers and they went above and beyond for our dance floor set up! Everyone was talking about the lasers and CO2 gun that also made for AMAZING photos. Not only were Conner and Will super responsive and just good vibes overall from the first intro meeting to the final details meeting — But they were incredibly honest and shared SO many pieces of advice from past weddings they’ve DJ’d and MC’d before that we hadn’t thought of. Their expertise definitely helped make the overall flow of the wedding and timeline so much smoother. Conner and Will — If I could have a wedding every year, I would book you guys over and over again! Thank you SO MUCH for creating the wedding reception of my dreams. I’m forever grateful!

    The easiest part of planning a wedding

    Our coordinator sent us a few recommendations for our Carlsbad wedding, and we knew Connor was our guy on day 1. He's relaxed, he understands you immediately, he's well organized, and he gives you as much or as little guidance as you need to bring your ideas to reality. On the day of, he absolutely delivered. His lighting setup was elite, his mixes were on point, and you felt like you were friends even though youd only met on videochat. 11/10. The guy is a pro's pro, and we would actually seek out where he's spinning just to relive the experience. Hire him, trust his guidance, and cross that off your to-do list as the easiest decision you'll make.

    Love Tap DJ

    My husband and I used love tap for our wedding 6/20/26. We cannot begin to express our gratitude and appreciation towards Connor, Erik and Jason (sax). From the moment I saw love tap on instagram and spoke with Connor, I knew I had to have them. The entire team is kind, knowledgeable, detail oriented and FUN. They made personalized remix’s for my father daughter dance and remixed a voicemail of my husband to “we found love.” They brought extra gear to enhance the entire experience, and when we were having sound debacle with the venue, they lended their insight and suggestions. Erik was the DJ at our wedding (Connor CEO), and he was AMAZING. Every single guest at the wedding said the music is what made the wedding. He remixed songs perfectly, the vibes were incredible and everything sounded great/ went smoothly! Jason (sax) was incredibly talented and enhanced the atmosphere exponentially. I cannot suggest LOVE TAP, Connor & Erik more. We can’t wait to use them again for future events. They made our wedding 10/10!!! Book lovetap immediately!!!

YES! We've always taken requests even when playing nightclubs. Why? Because we're there to make the people in front of me dance, and often times if one person requests it - it's usually what others on the dance floor want to hear. Sometimes, the requests are off the wall, and playing them into what I'm already mixing results in some amazing live moments that create magic when DJing. We love requests! (Although if they are too off the wall, we might not play them... we use discretion to ensure your vision is brought to life.)
We only use Shure QLX-D wireless mics. These are top of the line and ensure you will not have any signal interference like most of the cheaper models, AND ensure everyone in attendance will hear your ceremony, vows, speeches etc.
Yes. We carry $2M of General Liability and add venues as the additional insured (as most venues require this).
We have played the top nightclubs in the majority of the major US markets sharing the stage with some of the world's biggest acts. Most wedding DJ's lack the experience required to truly move a dance floor. Each of our DJ's actually mixes the music and uses the turntable as an instrument, not just "hitting play." The result is a unique ability to transform what would otherwise be "just another dance" into an unforgetable journey through music.
All of our DJs are true "Open Format DJs". This means we play every genre and mix seamlessly between them, resulting in a dance floor that never stops moving.
We typically arrive 2-3 hours before the first guests are expected to arrive. This ensures we have plenty of time to setup, soundcheck, and change into our snazzy suit or tux ;)
We quote weddings as projects with an all in fee that includes travel and breakdown. Our standard rate covers anything near either of our 2 "home" markets (San Diego and San Francisco) but for weddings in LA / Palm Springs / Arizona / or abroad - we quote an "all in" rate for our services.
Absolutely! We only use the best equipment to ensure your ceremony is heard by everyone in your audience. We also have the ability to run fully on batteries which makes remote locations easy. (i.e. ceremonies on the beach or underneath a tree in the vineyard where power isn't readily available)
Typically we wear a black or blue suit, but for "black tie optional" weddings we can also wear a tux. ◡̈
Yes! we work with each couple to ensure I have any and all songs that are relevant or important to them and their guests pre-set and ready for the big day!
