Q: What do you wear?

Attire is important! It depends on the weather but typically I wear a button-down shirt and a blazer. I have a few stylish jackets that I bust out on special occasions.

Absolutely! As a performing singer/guitarist I'm always looking to expand my repertoire.

Q: What makes you different from other musicians?

I'm more on the indie/underground spectrum and my song choices reflect a wider range than what's typical at weddings. I'm more likely to perform a song by The Strokes than "Canon in D".

Q: Do you take music requests?

I always encourage people on the dance floor to come up and vibe with me. Many requests are awesome and perfect and I’ll absolutely spin them. Some are less perfect in my professional experience so I’ll either skip them or wait for the right moment. My couples and their immediate families always get a priority on song requests.

Q: Do you provide music for wedding ceremonies or cocktail receptions?

Absolutely! I actively mix the cocktail-hour set rather than simply set a playlist.

Q: Are you fully insured?

Yes and I can provide a COI for any event.

I match beats seamlessly, I mix in-key and I use effects like filters and delays to smooth out perfect song transitions. Preparation is important but nothing compares to simply showing up and reading the energy on the dance floor. Sometimes I’ll stick mostly to the playlist if it’s working or sometimes I’ll totally pivot. Honestly the unexpected, spontaneous moments are often the funnest ones.

Richard killed it. Great communication, professional, took a couple requests, played all our "must plays" etc... but most importantly THE MIX ROCKED. He's actually mixing live, not just playing tracks with some automated beat matching. He actually made a mix of one of my favorite songs that I like better than the original (https://www.mixcloud.com/AllEarsDJ/murder-on-the-dancefloor/). Kept people dancing for a solid 2.5 hours. HIGHLY recommend, especially if you want something more interesting than pop hits all night.

All Ears DJ was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. They were extremely responsive to our emails and phone calls, and made the entire planning process seamless. On the day of the wedding, the DJ was punctual, professional, and kept the dance floor packed all night long. Our guests raved about the music selection and energy the DJ brought to the reception. We had an amazing experience working with Richard as our wedding DJ! From the beginning, he was super helpful and organized—he provided us with a music planner sheet that made it so easy to map out everything we needed. On the day of, he absolutely delivered. He played all the music we wanted, kept the energy high on the dance floor, and made sure every transition felt seamless. Richard also handled the mics for our ceremony and speeches flawlessly, and the music for all the special moments went off without a hitch. Everything ran so smoothly, and we never had to worry about a thing. Highly recommend!

All Ears DJ, and specifically Aaron (DJ) and Daniel (sax), were incredible for our wedding! All Ears was easy to coordinate and work with during our planning phase, and very reasonably priced for the value you get. Aaron was a master DJ who took our vision and guidance songs to create a set that was better than we could’ve imagined - smooth transitions, great flow, and kept the energy up late into the night - dance floor was packed the whole time! Daniel’s accompaniment on the sax was also a game-changer, bringing a touch of masterful live performance to the range that Aaron was spinning. Could not recommend more!
