It all started close to two years ago when my daughter Madison called me to tell me she had just gotten engaged. Around two months later, she created her Pinterest board and showed it to me, and just like that... that was my queue! I was a wedding planner so I know how much work and planning a wedding takes. I called Madison and told her we would start interviewing vendors immediately. She asked if it was too soon and my answer was no! Weddings take about a year to a year and a half to plan. At the time Madison was a full-time employee and studying to get her Master's degree, so she was very limited in all of the planning, her main focus was finishing school before the wedding. Living in a different state, I depended on the internet, reviews, and calling each vendor to get a feel for how they responded to me and my views. This wedding was going to be a very organic yet elegant vegan wedding. My daughter had given me her vision and it was up to me to bring it to life. After many over-the-phone interviews, the vendors we chose were the perfect fit, the perfect DREAM TEAM! They all knew I lived in Miami and my daughter's wedding was in Virginia, so this would be a little more challenging for all of us. WEDDING PLANNER: E&E Design Company, Katie and Maegan, these two ladies are nothing short of AMAZING! They knew I was in the wedding planning business, Katie and Maegan listened, let me run through all my ideas, and then enhanced my vision and made it happen. These two ladies met with me on the day of the wedding at 10:00 AM and did not end until midnight, both of them are such hard workers. Meagan and Katie, you are always happy, positive, and helpful they are AWESOME! I appreciate you more than you know, thank you for making my daughter so happy! My daughter and I hired Chloe Deal to be our onsite day-of wedding planner and she was excellent before, during and after the big day! Pre-wedding, we had two zoom meetings to review what the plans were and what she would be doing to oversee it all. Chloe's communication assured us all the details would be completely taken care of on wedding day. The day of the wedding, we had a big surprise. An unexpected storm whipped up just as we were about to begin the outdoor ceremony. Chloe and her assistant quickly rallied to make last minute adjustments moving tables and displays under the reception tent, coordinating with the vendors on the change of plans and remained calm throughout it all. After a bit of insanity as our guests ran from the outdoor ceremony into the tent, Chloe and her assistant went into overdrive drying off chairs and getting them moved into the reception area which was a huge undertaking. The groomsmen were supposed to help but they were the only ones not under umbrellas and were absolutely soaked. Chloe easily helped guests find their seats and kept us all on schedule with the reception events of introductions, dances, happy hour, dinner, cake cutting, send off photos etc. Post wedding, we had to be all cleaned up by 9am the next day so the night of the wedding, Chloe and her assistant moved heavy tree log displays back to the woods, put everything that we needed to save into our cars or the locked space until we could pick it up the next day. Chloe's performance as our wedding planner was truly impressive as she thought of every detail and despite the unexpected weather, my daughter and son-in-law had a truly magical day complete with double rainbows! I would highly recommend her services to any bride and groom to-be!

We are a mature couple and we wanted our wedding to happen in three months. Yes...3 Months! And then Tropical Storm Ophelia blew into our backyard garden wedding plans . And THAT is why an experienced wedding planner is essential. Storms Happen. Adrienne handled every detail of the wedding plans from negotiating with vendors, bringing our vision to life, establishing the budget, coordinating with vendors (in 3 months) and more. Adrienne and the HCE team has established relationships with many vendors ( caterer, tents, music photographer, lavatories, golf carts, etc), and they were able to adjust the plans to accommodate for the changes needed during the storm. Adrienne handled every detail with total calmness ..because I was a "storm within a storm". She explained our options and guided us thru the unknown of a tropical storm. I learned that 'a pretty" wedding is what we thought we wanted..but what we really needed was an expert wedding planning team who executes flawlessly and brings BEAUTY in the midst of a storm. She KNOWS weddings. Yes. You do need a wedding planner. You need Hearts Content Events.

They handled the timeline, vendors, transitions, and every small detail with such ease that I never once felt stressed. What truly blew us away was how she went above and beyond — bussing and clearing tables throughout the reception, even though that wasn’t her responsibility at all. She saw a need and instantly stepped up so our day would remain flawless. And let me brag for a moment: Janet decorated our entire ceremony arch, every centerpiece, and our sweetheart table, bridal bouquet, bridal party bouquets, groom and groomsmen’s pocket arrangements and family floral arrangements— and each piece looked like something straight out of a magazine. Her eye for design is unreal. She asked if I wanted to view the arrangements prior to the big day and I told didn’t need to because of how impressed I was with her prior arrangements. I truly wish weddings weren’t a once-in-a-lifetime event, because I would hire Janet again and again. She made our day seamless, beautiful, and unforgettable. Sarah coordinated my wedding in Cancun and I want to thank her sooooo much! I'm an accountant and I own several businesses, so there were so many times Sarah had to stay on me to get stuff done. She stayed on top of deadlines, she made sure everyone had their room and flight booked, made sure everyone had transportation, worked hand in hand with my photographer and the wedding specialist at the resort. Amalia was exactly what I needed to ensure my wedding day went as smoothly as possible. Planning a wedding in 3 months was tough but Amalia kept me organized, was there to bounce ideas off of, created signage for our guest book dessert table and card box, and helped tremendously the day of the wedding. When I would get overwhelmed Amalia would schedule a zoom call to check in and help where needed. Amalia and Jenna were perfect day of coordinators and helped set up our dessert table, set up all centerpieces, set up florals and made sure everything ran smoothly. Annie from Before You Say I Do was an exceptional day-of-coordinator for our special day. Her communication style was frequent, clear, thoughtful, timely, and she was quick to respond to all of our questions and needs. The quality of her work and the value she provided was excellent-- she is hard-working and was incredibly considerate throughout the entire process. She went above and beyond, offering to bring additional decorations and even showing up the day before to assist with our traditional Vietnamese Tea Ceremony, which was not even on the same day as our official wedding. We had only hired her for her day-of coordination package, but even so, she was a consistent voice and helping hand for us for months leading up to the wedding. I can only imaging if we would have booked her whole wedding planning service, our wedding probably would have somehow been even more perfect than it already was. She struck the perfect balance of listening to what I wanted while making recommendations and guiding me through the various considerations. I had to push my proposal out a few days due to unforeseen circumstances.
