We can’t thank Jenna and Amalia enough for taking care of our pup, Wesley, on our wedding day. We were hesitant to include Wesley in our wedding day at first because he’s still a pup and we weren’t sure who to leave him with, but once we met with Jenna and Amalia, we knew there was no one better for the job! They took care of him like their own - making sure he was happy, fed and cuddled throughout the day. They brought him to the venue for the ceremony and assisted perfectly with having him walk down the aisle and picture taking. They then brought him back home and got him settled in for the night. We were completely at ease knowing he was in the best hands and we were so happy they were able to help us include him in our special day. All couples need Dana and her team with Thyme & Details for their big day. We hired Dana as a day of coordinator but she is so much more than that. She went to countless vendor meeting and kept track of all of my overly detailed instructions to make sure each piece of our day (timeline, vendor contracts, etc) worked with those details. When the venue dropped the ball, others got details wrong, or vendors fell through, Dana was always a step ahead and came up with even better solutions than our original plans. Dana really knows the ins and outs of organizing a wedding, is in tune with the Columbus wedding scene, and has incredibly valuable connections. Overall we were blown away by Dana and her team’s professionalism and dedication to our wedding. Dana’s communications were always prompt, detailed, and thorough every step of the way, making the planning process a breeze. She lead our rehearsal too which is exactly what we needed. Her team also went above and beyond the day-of to ensure every aspect of our special day was executed flawlessly. Annie from Before You Say I Do was an exceptional day-of-coordinator for our special day. Her communication style was frequent, clear, thoughtful, timely, and she was quick to respond to all of our questions and needs. The quality of her work and the value she provided was excellent-- she is hard-working and was incredibly considerate throughout the entire process. She went above and beyond, offering to bring additional decorations and even showing up the day before to assist with our traditional Vietnamese Tea Ceremony, which was not even on the same day as our official wedding. We had only hired her for her day-of coordination package, but even so, she was a consistent voice and helping hand for us for months leading up to the wedding. I can only imaging if we would have booked her whole wedding planning service, our wedding probably would have somehow been even more perfect than it already was. It all started close to two years ago when my daughter Madison called me to tell me she had just gotten engaged. Around two months later, she created her Pinterest board and showed it to me, and just like that... that was my queue! I was a wedding planner so I know how much work and planning a wedding takes. I called Madison and told her we would start interviewing vendors immediately. She asked if it was too soon and my answer was no! Weddings take about a year to a year and a half to plan. At the time Madison was a full-time employee and studying to get her Master's degree, so she was very limited in all of the planning, her main focus was finishing school before the wedding. Living in a different state, I depended on the internet, reviews, and calling each vendor to get a feel for how they responded to me and my views. This wedding was going to be a very organic yet elegant vegan wedding. My daughter had given me her vision and it was up to me to bring it to life. After many over-the-phone interviews, the vendors we chose were the perfect fit, the perfect DREAM TEAM! They all knew I lived in Miami and my daughter's wedding was in Virginia, so this would be a little more challenging for all of us. WEDDING PLANNER: E&E Design Company, Katie and Maegan, these two ladies are nothing short of AMAZING! They knew I was in the wedding planning business, Katie and Maegan listened, let me run through all my ideas, and then enhanced my vision and made it happen. These two ladies met with me on the day of the wedding at 10:00 AM and did not end until midnight, both of them are such hard workers. Meagan and Katie, you are always happy, positive, and helpful they are AWESOME! I appreciate you more than you know, thank you for making my daughter so happy! Hali and Leila made our wedding day run so seamlessly at a non-traditional venue. Hali was fantastic to work with prior to the wedding and listened to and executed exactly what we envisioned. We were truly able to step away from the operations and be fully present with each other, our families, and friends. Everything was set up beautifully and tended throughout the evening, and I had no idea when vendors arrived, setup, and left. I even learned after the fact that they ingeniously fixed the ceremony decor that kept falling over in the wind. They also managed to run a magic dessert table that was constantly full despite so many people taking cupcakes. I'm confident there are multiple other events that happened without my knowledge that made the day happen as it did. What makes Noelle so special is that she doesn’t just “plan weddings.” She genuinely takes your vision and transforms it into something bigger and more beautiful than you could have even imagined for yourself. The ideas I had in my head for my wedding somehow came to life TIMES TEN. Every tiny detail was perfected. She thought of things before I even had to ask. She guided me through every decision while still making me feel like the wedding truly reflected me and my husband. And the professionalism? Insane. The organization? Insane. The patience? Saint level. She worked with my budget and constantly gave me options to still achieve the luxury, elegant look I wanted without making me feel pressured to spend beyond my means. She found almost all of my vendors, and every single one of them was phenomenal. The amount of compliments I still receive from guests weeks and months later about how beautiful, organized, and seamless my wedding was honestly speaks for itself. But what REALLY blew me away was wedding day itself. When I tell you I did not have a single worry in the world, I mean it. Noelle and her team handled EVERYTHING. She was genuinely a rockstar from beginning to end. At one point she literally did my late night McDonald’s run herself while her assistants stayed behind making sure me, my bridal party, and my family had everything we needed. Who does that?! That level of care is so rare. She treated my wedding like it was just as important to her as it was to me. Not only did she become my wedding planner, but over this past year she truly became someone so special to me and my family. My family and friends could not stop complimenting her professionalism, kindness, work ethic, and calming presence. I literally had my mom’s friends texting me asking for her information because they were so blown away by her. Noelle made wedding planning FUN. She made it exciting instead of stressful. Honestly, she makes me want to plan another wedding tomorrow just to work with her again. I’m truly going to miss our hours-long meetings spent perfecting every little detail because it all paid off in the most unbelievable way. I can confidently say my wedding would NOT have been what it was without her. We LOVED working with Brittany. We had monthly meetings with her for over a year, from the venue search phase to the handoff to our month-of coordinator, and she was so helpful. She helped us with the searches for everything—venue, DJ, photography, day-of coordination, flowers, catering—and provided us timelines and organization tools that were genuinely invaluable. We had very little idea going in exactly what was needed to plan a wedding, but Brittany’s collaboration made us feel very on top of things. She also worked with us to troubleshoot things when issues arose (like our flower provider not following some of our communication requests). And an added bonus is that she’s fun to hang out with lol—we really enjoyed our monthly meetings!! Would absolutely recommend the Venlist (and Brittany specifically)!
