“Richard Krutick is special. A special talent as well as a special man. He captured it! The day after our wedding he sent me a teaser gallery of what was to come. I was blown away. When planning my wedding the photographer was the most critical to me -I was picky. When I saw his work he turned my entire way of looking at my wedding around. Richard and I had over an hour-long conversation and we clicked. I, having a creative director background and working with photographers all my career, was thrilled because we spoke the same language. I wanted honest, documentary-style moments captured without noticing the presence of the photographer. He was there when you needed him and you liked him. My guests were saying what a warm and great guy he is. He got their personalities, each and every one of them. He looks at everything with a special eye. “Seth was amazing as our wedding photographer! Our wedding package included an additional photo shoot that we used as an engagement shoot. This session helped us feel at ease with our decision. He made us feel very comfortable in front of the camera and we were so impressed with how those pictures turned out. Leading up to the wedding day he helped us build our day of timeline and we compiled a list of must have pictures. Seth and Drea helped us stay on schedule and were able to capture all the pictures we wanted. They were organized, professional, and prepared. “I don't even know where to START!!!! This gal immediately became part of the crew from the first photos with the bridesmaids to the end of the night rager! Angelica and her second shooter were both incredible start to finish. Great at going with the flow but also making sure to get those photos that I had on my shot list (no matter how hard everyone was making that haha!) She had the best energy that helped me not feel nervous at all and honestly empowered from the start. She got so many amazing details that we are literally having a viewing party with all of our local guests because we just cannot choose which photos to post. I chose her because her photos and galleries all looked so different but one common theme was everyone looked like they were 1. having fun and 2. being themselves. Personally posed photos aren't for me. So when I saw her galleries I knew I wanted her above all other photographers. And I had a chart of 21 that I researched but after my first meeting with her I was sold. “We were so lucky to find and connect with Kim for our wedding photos. Planning it for the 3rd time – yes, we are one of those pandemic couples – we were so nervous about having to find someone quickly that we liked. Pictures were one of our top priorities and we were very picky about achieving the right style. Kim hit it out of the park on all fronts. Not only is she ridiculously talented, but she was a breeze to work with from beginning to end. She is extremely kind, attentive, and accommodating. She offered us a last-minute engagement shoot so that we could meet her and to get us comfortable in front of the camera. This was so helpful for us and made shooting for the wedding much easier and relaxing. She also stayed longer than planned to get those few extra special shots walking around SoHo. When we saw our engagement photos, we knew we made the right decision. On the day of, it was important to us to incorporate our home, neighborhood, and adorable pup in our photos. Kim was super flexible and thoughtful of how to do this. She totally leaned in when I wanted to walk to Washington Sq Park for our first look, where we got the “free hugs” guy to take photos with us, then hopped into a yellow cab to the venue. Kim kept us moving and made the best use of the time we had, which was super helpful since we didn’t have a wedding coordinator. The whole day turned out to be perfect and Kim captured it all for us. Every person who has seen our proof book has said “how are you going to choose? They are all amazing…” and I couldn’t agree more! We can’t wait to work with her again.”
