Eivan's photo and video services were very affordable and were a major reason why we went with them. I think the photos we received turned out very well and captured many of the amazing moments that we had at the wedding. The service we paid for only included one photographer and one videographer but they were both very attentive and made sure to be where the action was the entire day. Overall, the experience was positive and for a bride who was more focused on living through the experience of her wedding, Eivan's did a good job of handling the stuff you don't really want to think about.

Justin McCallum Photography
Rating: 5.0 (37 reviews)
New York, NY
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $6,200

Hi! I’m Justin (he/him) and I’m here to affirm your love, make you feel like a fucking rockstar, and dance like a total fool. Oh, and take so many gorgeous photos of y’all. Obvs. My style blends both documentary photojournalism and fine art photography: coaching folks who are shy in front of the camera, then stepping back to capture authentic moments uninterrupted. I’ve been lucky enough to have my work published by A Practical Wedding, The New York Times, GLAMOUR, People Magazine and many other fabulous outlets. I'm a stereotypical Capricorn that loves drag shows, campy horror films, every dog I meet, and Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups.

Awarded Best of Zola
Choosing Justin as the photographer was one of the best decisions we made for our special day! He took time to really get to know us so that we were as comfortable as possible in front of the camera. When unexpected things happened on the day of, they didn’t bat an eye and made sure we still got all of the shots we wanted. Justin is so thorough, kind, affirming, and fun, and the pictures turned out amazingly. 1000/10 would hire again 3.

After graduating from Parson's School of Art in Manhattan, I worked as a fine artist, my work involved photography and photo manipulation. I quickly discovered that I loved and excelled at photo retouching, and went on to work for some of the best photo retouching studios in New York. Their communication style was clear, prompt, detail-oriented, and educational, putting us at ease throughout the entire planning process. The quality of their work was truly exceptional - the photos they captured were comfortable, beautiful, magical, ethereal, and so clean. They asked all the right questions, from inquiring about golden hour and sunset shots to handling a multitude of family and necessary photos on the day. Most importantly, Emma, the owner, was incredible. I couldn't have planned and executed my wedding without her services and immediate attention to detail, the timeline, the photos needed, her suggestions and discussions, and the seamless edits and delivery of the final products. We are a married couple of photographers. Within years of career, we discovered what’s really matters - we want to make people happy. Weddings have it all: new interesting people, touching stories, warm family relationships, tears. A lot of tears! Oh, don’t forget dances and sparklers! So, it’s fun! 🙂 Also, we love weddings because it’s the most challenging kind of photography in the field, it combines all the genres. It make you think, move and react quickly in constantly changing surrounding. We have no room for mistakes. So It’s never boring! 🙂

On our wedding day, when a few things inevitably went off track, she had such a calming presence that really helped me stay grounded and enjoy the moment. The photos are absolutely stunning — a perfect mix of timeless, beautifully composed portraits and spontaneous, lively shots that truly capture the energy of the day. We chose her because we loved how she balances classic and creative styles, and seeing our gallery confirmed we made the right choice. Every photo feels so full of life and emotion. Hey there! My name is Emilee, and I am a Minnesota-native living in NYC! I've been photographing people and events for the past 15 years. I shoot families, couples, individuals, and pets, but my passion lies in wedding photography. I love capturing the whirlwind of a couples' big day, and seeing the love that is shared between them and all their wedding guests. It's magical and wonderful every. single. time. My current active markets are Minnesota and New York, but I'm available to travel anywhere in the US and the world for additional fees!

Awarded Best of Zola
What a dream Emilee was to work with, from start to finish. OUR CEREMONY PARTY: we decided on a private, courthouse elopement on a Wednesday, a 60 person reception party on a Friday. In both, our biggest priority was having a photographer capture the intimate, joyful small details. We went with Emilee because of her eye for the beauty in the small things. She captured both our days perfectly. DOCUMENTARY STYLE: Emilee was perfect behind the scenes, capturing beautiful moments of our friends and family, small details of the courthouse with just us. I look back at some of these photos and ask "how did she even get that?!" She has such an eye. POSED: We had about 20 minutes dedicated to posed, family photos during our reception. Emilee had our families relaxed and laughing, quickly swapping members in and out. In some newlywed photos, we sought her advice for how to pose. She gave quick direction, made us feel confident, and always found the perfect light. COMMUNICATION SPEED: Delivered on every promise, quick replies. Emilee was 15 minutes early to both locations, we never had to worry. PERSONALLY: We met with Emilee about 4 months before our big days. We had coffee, talked about our vision and our biggest priorities. She immediately felt like a friend, and knew she was firmly on our team. If you're looking for a photographer to capture not only beautiful photos of yourself, but more importantly, the feeling in every room, Emilee is the photographer for you. We recommend wholeheartedly, and can't wait for another occasion to work with her. Sincerely, Mara James

Mae Krell Photo
Rating: 5.0 (14 reviews)
New York, NY
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $10,000

Hi! My name is Mae, and I live in Brooklyn with my girlfriend, our two dogs Apollo and Bia, her cat Gigi and my lizard, Basil! I’ve always been passionate about capturing moments as authentically and magically as possible, and as i’ve settled more into this career path, I love that i’ve landed in a place where I have the privilege to capture and preserve people’s love stories. Weddings and elopements are so distinctly and uniquely human, and it’s truly the biggest honor to be trusted to document them.

Awarded Best of Zola
I came across Mae’s work when looking for a photographer for engagement photos in Central Park, and I was immediately impressed with Mae and knew we were going to be incredibly happy with the results. Mae responded immediately to all my questions, day or night, and took the time to video chat with me at length twice before the shoot to discuss what we were looking for in our photos. Before the shoot, I had sent her a few examples of what I liked, and not only did the photos come out exactly how I wanted them, but were even more perfect than I envisioned. The engagement shoot itself was so much fun, and Mae made us feel so comfortable throughout the entire process, despite us thinking we’d both feel awkward getting posed photos of us taken. Mae truly had a vision for what poses, locations, and lighting would work, and the execution was perfect. Some of the feedback we got from our friends was that the photos looked like a magazine, and that they were “ethereal.” Even better, Mae somehow got us the edited photos back within 24 hours of the shoot. Her pricing is also incredibly reasonable given the quality of her work, meticulousness, and experience in photography, as well as the very quick turnaround time. My fiance and I truly cannot recommend her enough, and we are excited to work with her again in the future. She is truly an artist, and any couple would be incredibly lucky to work with her!

I'm in love with human emotions, either it's laughing till it hurts or tears of happiness. When your man hugs you so strong, that you can't breathe or when your dad is crying (for the first time in his life!) listening to your vows at the altar. I do believe, that these un-staged moments are more meaningful than classy portraits on a sunset (but no worries, you'll plenty of both!) If you feel like we are on the same page - let's talk! Write me a few words about who you are, tell me your story and let's create something beautiful together!

Awarded Best of Zola
Let me just say, we are SO happy we found Dasha to document our NYC marriage ceremony. We were nervous about finding the right person to be there during such an intimate moment and to trust to deliver quality photos. The moment we found her, all of our worries washed away. Dasha was SO professional, knew exactly what to do and made us feel at ease. She went above and beyond to make sure we got all of the shots we wanted and was so patient. She knows of ALL the best places to get amazing photos. She's an expert. Her work is beautiful - do NOT sleep on the opportunity to work with her! So happy with our experience and can't wait to work with Dasha again!

Kim-Trang Photography
Rating: 5.0 (13 reviews)
New York, NY
  • Photojournalistic style

After working 10+ years in corporate America in NYC, California and traveling the globe, I found myself wanting more than what the traditional career path had set for me. I stumbled into photography while I was on maternity leave with my oldest and started a side hustle that I had no idea was going to turn into a complete career change years later. From the very first wedding I shot, I knew I was onto something. And ever since then, I haven't looked back.

Awarded Best of Zola
Kim-Trang Photography was the perfect choice for our wedding photography. From the start, Kim’s communication style was ahead of the game - she was warm, friendly, and we were excited to have her on our team. Kim is talented and committed and truly captured the joy and intimacy of our special day. She connected with us and our family in a way that felt more like having a friend there than just a vendor. One of our favorite touches was the sweet Polaroids she left with our wedding cards - the perfect surprise when we were feeling a bit of the post-wedding blues. We couldn't be happier with the sneak peeks we've seen so far and can't wait to see the full gallery. Kim-Trang Photography went above and beyond to make our wedding day truly unforgettable.

Bri M. NYC Film Photographer - Elopements, Courthouse and Traditional
Rating: 5.0 (13 reviews)
New York, NY
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $2,600

I photograph weddings for couples who want something emotionally real and visually distinct — not overly polished. I am more likely to accept bookings with sooner dates - I cannot book further than 1 year out.

I wish I could leave more stars! We had a vision of taking fun photos in the bar we met for our engagement and Bri brought that vision to the next level! She’s an artist and a professional, who really listens and takes care in every shot. She not only made sure we were happy with the experience but she let us in the process to make sure we would capture what we wanted. I’m an extremely camera shy bride but you would never know from looking at the end result. Bri made me feel so confident and comfortable. I forgot about the camera pressure or how my body might look because I trusted her and the process, and i’m so happy I did. Even the playlist she had set the right vibe and we could really relax to get photos that feel like us!

What do you imagine your wedding to be like? Imagination is a nice gift we have. It helps us building our identities and shaping our individual uniqueness. Imagining carries a degree of anticipation, depending on our past experiences and who we are, of how something that hasn't happened yet is going to be when it actually happens. Like traveling to a place where we've never been before and we take photos of its landscapes and people living there: we tend to capture in those photographs how we had imagined that place. A wedding is a destination in the journey of life, perhaps the most important one.

Edward Dye Photography was an amazing choice for our wedding photographer. From our initial consultation, Edward demonstrated an efficient communication style, ensuring we were on the same page every step of the way. On the day of our wedding, Edward helped to smooth the flow of the event, arriving as early as 9 am to capture our tea ceremony. We had an hour-long conversation beforehand to make sure the schedule was exactly what we wanted. The quality of Edward's work was truly amazing, and we are thrilled with the beautiful photos that captured all the special moments of our big day. We highly recommend Edward Dye Photography to any couple looking for a professional, reliable, and talented wedding photographer.

Hi, I'm Eugene, a professional photographer from Europe. I've been doing photography for more than 14 years and I had an interesting path already: I've worked in Minsk, Berlin, Warsaw, Prague, and Thailand. Currently working in the Tri-state area.

Eugene beautifully captured our perfect day! He was very communicative through the booking process and affordable for extremely high-quality photos. Me and my group were unsure of how to pose, but he made us feel at ease and comfortable by talking us through every photo! He made sure to capture every little detail throughout the day. He sent the photos to us within a few weeks after the wedding, and we couldn't be happier with how they came out!

Hi, I'm Lucia! As a photojournalist and documentary photographer, I capture weddings, elopements, and engagements with raw emotion, cinematic storytelling, and an editorial edge. I focus on creating images that are as real, timeless, and personal as your love story. We'll go beyond classic poses. It's the intimate glances, the sidekick laughter, the never-ending hugs, the tears of joy, and those moments of pure connection what I love capturing. Whether it’s the intimacy of an elopement, the excitement of an engagement, or the energy of a full wedding, I preserve the emotions that make your day unforgettable. Lucia was simply a wonder to have on our wedding day. The communication before and during the event was amazing and we had plenty of time to do pictures before walking down the aisle. She then captured our ceremony and our party in such a perfect way. We are in absolute awe. The photos are so emotional, and we are so happy to have these incredible moments with our family documented forever.
