I'm Angelica, the owner of Dawnpoint Studios! I'm an adventurous and internationally requested wedding/elopement photographer with a focus on sustainability! Here's an unexpected fact - I hated weddings when I first started second shooting them. It broke my heart to see couples being rushed, overwhelmed, and not truly having any connection to couples. That's what drove my passion to breath a fresh air into the wedding experience! Plan with intention, focus on being present, and building genuine relationships with couples! You should be heard, appreciated, and understood. You should feel encouraged to get married your way.

We are here to document, not direct. Dawnpoint Studios focuses on intentionally shooting, keeping couples present, and being there for you - more than as a photographer, but as a friend. We want to get to know you during engagement sessions, help plan out your timeline so the day runs smooth, and be a shoulder for you to lean on. Whether it's calming you down or hyping you up - our goal is that you soak in all the golden moments. In honor of every couple that books Dawnpoint Studios, we plant 10 trees in your name. Environmentalism has always been pivotal to Dawnpoint's business model. From local clean ups, volunteering and donating.

    Have ZEROOOO doubts about working w/Jelly!!

    If you’re considering Angelica / Dawnpoint Studios, don't think twice DO IT and book Jelly!! We seriously cannot say enough good things about her. My husband and I are both awkward and hate taking photos, and she somehow made it such a fun and comfortable experience. We actually enjoyed taking our wedding photos, which says a LOT coming from us and now we’re absolutely obsessed with them LOL Throughout the whole process, Jelly was so responsive, understanding, and accommodating. She really listens, works with you, and makes you feel comfortable asking questions or sharing what you want. On our wedding day, she was on time, helped keep everything running smoothly, and brought the BEST energy. She is truly a ray of sunshine, and she’s exactly the kind of person you want around you on your wedding day. There’s already so much going on, and having someone who makes you feel relaxed and taken care of makes such a difference!!! Plus the photos!!! We keep looking through them because we love them so much. To go from two people who hate being in front of a camera to having so many photos we love together is honestly all thanks to her. We truly love Jelly so much and would happily have her photograph EVERY occasion if we could. You should have ZERO doubts about working with her. She’s truly the best, and we’re so grateful she was part of our day!

    Where do I even start? We had the unbelievable privilege of having Angelica take our engagement photos and photograph our wedding. Angelica has an energy that makes you feel immediately comfortable in front of the camera, she’s so full of joy that it makes getting your picture taken that much easier. She knows exactly how to pose you for those artistic shots and makes you feel very confident. She made my Pinterest board come to life. Her photos are INSANE, she captured literally every single moment of our day from the calm pre wedding photos to the insane reception afterwards. Her editing style is like magic. It rained a bit on our wedding day so we had to move inside for some photos which I originally didn’t want but those inside shots ended up being my FAVORITE photos of the day. Just hire her already, worth every single penny and you will not regret having her be a part of your special day whatever it is.

    Best ever!

    We absolutely loved working with Angelica for our engagement shoot and wedding day! She was so flexible and accommodating throughout the day and took the most AMAZING photos. Such a sweetheart. Cannot recommend enough!

    Absolutely Wonderful!

    Angelica did a fantastic job shooting our wedding! Her and her second shooter Jade did a great job capturing everything during the day. the pictures feel so effortless and you can feel the happiness through the photos. We did engagement photos with Angelica as well and we felt so comfortable with her and made it easier for the day of the wedding. I cannot recommend Dawnpoint Studios enough and I will be booking her for every milestone we have!

    We loved Angelica!!

    We loved working with Angelica!! She was super responsive and friendly leading up to the day, and working with her on the day was a breeze. She turned around our full gallery in under a month and the pictures came out amazing! We'd recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer.

Whether you’re getting married in the west coast of Oregon or simply a few hours away in upstate NY - I will be there. I create custom travel collections for each of my out-of-state couples, so let me know where the party is at in the contact form and we’ll start planning!
