I'm Angelica, the owner of Dawnpoint Studios! I'm an adventurous and internationally requested wedding/elopement photographer with a focus on sustainability! Here's an unexpected fact - I hated weddings when I first started second shooting them. It broke my heart to see couples being rushed, overwhelmed, and not truly having any connection to couples. That's what drove my passion to breath a fresh air into the wedding experience! Plan with intention, focus on being present, and building genuine relationships with couples! You should be heard, appreciated, and understood. You should feel encouraged to get married your way.

We are here to document, not direct. Dawnpoint Studios focuses on intentionally shooting, keeping couples present, and being there for you - more than as a photographer, but as a friend. We want to get to know you during engagement sessions, help plan out your timeline so the day runs smooth, and be a shoulder for you to lean on. Whether it's calming you down or hyping you up - our goal is that you soak in all the golden moments. In honor of every couple that books Dawnpoint Studios, we plant 10 trees in your name. Environmentalism has always been pivotal to Dawnpoint's business model. From local clean ups, volunteering and donating.

    Best ever!

    We absolutely loved working with Angelica for our engagement shoot and wedding day! She was so flexible and accommodating throughout the day and took the most AMAZING photos. Such a sweetheart. Cannot recommend enough!

    Absolutely Wonderful!

    Angelica did a fantastic job shooting our wedding! Her and her second shooter Jade did a great job capturing everything during the day. the pictures feel so effortless and you can feel the happiness through the photos. We did engagement photos with Angelica as well and we felt so comfortable with her and made it easier for the day of the wedding. I cannot recommend Dawnpoint Studios enough and I will be booking her for every milestone we have!

    We loved Angelica!!

    We loved working with Angelica!! She was super responsive and friendly leading up to the day, and working with her on the day was a breeze. She turned around our full gallery in under a month and the pictures came out amazing! We'd recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer.

    Oct 2025 Wedding

    Angelica is such a talented photographer, who is also so easy to work with! She quickly picks up on the vibe that we’re looking for, executes on it, and also helps to give suggestions on posing and finding the right light. During our engagement session, Angelica scoped out Central Park for a route and time that would maximize good light and minimize disruptions. For the wedding, she also took charge of all things photo related, from backdrop of the flat lay, to spots of the first look and couples portraits. We are super happy with all the photos, needless to say. I cannot recommend her enough!

    Dream Photographer Experience!

    Angelica was amazing! She instantly felt like a lifelong friend; warm, positive, and so easy to be around. She captured the most stunning candid moments and had an incredibly quick turnaround. Everyone at our wedding and shower couldn’t stop raving, not just about her photos, but about her as a person. We truly couldn’t imagine our day without her!

100% yes! Although I’m based in New Jersey, I have photographed couples across the USA both near and far. Whether you’re getting married in the west coast of Oregon or simply a few hours away in upstate NY - I will be there. I create custom travel collections for each of my out-of-state couples, so let me know where the party is at in the contact form and we’ll start planning!
