Based in the Northern New Jersey area and embracing the East Coast and beyond, The Fox & The Hare want to document your story. Each of us have backgrounds in fine art photography and have been photographing weddings together for a decade. And whether we’re there for the happy moments or the emotional moments, we want to document it all.
Jen is the “Hare” because she might be small, but she is quick and tries to be everywhere at once. Steve is the “Fox” because he is stealthy with his photojournalistic style, you hardly know he’s there. We don't just sign up for a job to be your photographers, we want to walk away and feel like we've become old friends.

The Best Photographers in the World
We couldn't be happier with Jen and Steve's work on our wedding day. Their exceptional talent and vision captured every special moment beautifully. Our photographer was our first vendor that we booked and what I considered to be the most important because we will have our photos and photo albums forever to look back on and remember our wedding day. A friend of mine had use The Fox & The Hare Photography for her wedding and the pictures she was posting looked stunning, so I immediately reached out to them to photograph our wedding. Even during our first meeting with them, Jen & Steve felt like old friends, while also maintaining a very professional attitude. They communicated so well during the planning process and made sure that we had all of our questions answered and felt prepared for the day of the wedding. On the wedding day Jen started our with the girls and Steve was with the guys, then they both were with my husband and I for our first look and for all the wedding party and family photos. They ran the show and the entire day went smoothly thanks to the timeline they provided us. Besides making us feel so comfortable in front of the camera, Jen & Steve made the day so much fun for us and they truly felt like part of our families by the end of the night. We got a sneak peek of 100 photos back 2 days after the wedding and every single photo came out beautiful. We cannot recommend The Fox & The Hare Photography enough for the most gorgeous photos and the most easygoing and fun people to work with on your wedding day.
BEST INVESTMENT EVER
We LOOOVED Jen and Steve so much! We had such an amazing experience with them for both our engagement shoot, my bridal shower and our wedding day. They are so personable, easy to work with and honestly just fun. They made the whole experience so comfortable and enjoyable. I also loved that they were down for anything! We were looking for photographers that could capture candid and natural moments, and they totally delivered. Our photos are the perfect reflection of our relationship and the love and happiness we felt on the day. I really appreciated how they were detailed-oriented and kept the day flowing. I didn’t have to worry about getting things done on time because they were so on top of it. Also, they went above and beyond in general. They always made sure that my hair looked good, that my dress was laying nicely, that people looked their best for the photos and that we were getting the shots we wanted. My bridal party and family commented on how great they were too! I get compliments nonstop about my photos and how beautifully they came out. I will recommend these guys until I’m blue in the face, they were worth every cent and I’m so grateful that we have these photos to cherish forever! I also hired them for my baby shower and am in love with how the photos came out!
They Make Us Want To Do It All Again!!!
Words cannot describe how much we ENJOYED working with Jen and Steve!! They are an absolute power couple and talented photographers! From our first FaceTime with Jen and Steve we could tell that they both were very intentional and detail oriented (i.e. carrying lint brushes and makeup wipes to clean the groom's suit etc so that pictures could be spotless) and showed care and interest about us and our vision for our wedding day! We were impressed from day 1 on their level of commitment to their couples leading up to the wedding!!! Day of the wedding both Jen and Steve cared for us WHILE taking amazing pictures!!!! Thanks Jen for pinning up my hair after the ceremony when it was falling down and thanks Steve for hunting down our wedding rings post ceremony (oops) and for bringing us water so we could stay hydrated. When we look at our pictures what stands out to us are the moments big and small - everything that encompassed our special day!! These memories will last a lifetime and we are so grateful to Jen and Steve for capturing so many (if not all) of the precious and quirky moments of our wedding day!! Hope to work with this AMAZING photography couple again!! They are worth every penny!!!
