Any issue that came up was handled calmly and professionally — we didn’t have to worry about a single thing. All vendors were well-informed, coordinated, and prepared. She even created and printed a detailed binder with everything from schedules and song lists to seating charts — the level of preparation was incredible. We are beyond grateful for her. She is not only an amazing planner but an even better person. Her calm presence, organization, and genuine care made all the difference. I truly cannot sing her praises enough. “YPB was simply the single-best decision we could have made for our wedding. Our planner, Katelyn Evans, EXCELLED at: (1) Coordinating and managing our vendors, both local and not-at-all local (2) Understanding our vision and transforming it into reality (3) Navigating the complexities of a South Asian wedding (along with the specific needs for our families) Early on in our wedding planning journey, we got quickly overwhelmed, especially because we were not nearby to our wedding destination. Katelyn hit the ground running with us from day one. She was our boots on the ground, meeting with vendors in person when needed and was an expert in keeping things moving no matter what the action item was, big or small. A few particular difficulties that Katelyn navigated expertly: (1) We struggled to pull together the decor based off our wedding vision. Katelyn realized that one decor vendor was not meeting our needs and worked overtime to pull together an order sheet that pulled decor from multiple vendors that matched our vision perfectly AND cut our decor costs by half. (2) Katelyn accommodated our parents needs down to even the smallest requests, like making sweets available to guests at auspicious moments during the wedding weekend and even helping coordinate dinners outside of the wedding itself. (3) Katelyn pulled together last-minute needs during the wedding weekend without a sweat, such as setting up umbrellas to provide shade during the wedding ceremony or last-minute hotel room booking adjustments. The result was a multi-day South Asian wedding that was even better in real life than we could have dreamed of. “We cannot recommend Saige and her team enough! Our wedding was July 26th, 2025 at Mountain Field Farms in Palmer, AK. We had 130 guests, with nearly half traveling up for our wedding. It was everything we hoped for and more. We met with several wedding planners to find the right fit, and it was clear from the beginning that Saige was the most experienced and the best one to bring our vision to life. I won’t lie – I’m a bit Type A ;) – and she handled the entire planning process with grace, calmness and professionalism. We would often come to her with our half-baked ideas and she knew how to refine and execute them into something cohesive (and stunning!). It was really fun working and co-creating together. Apart from the decor, rentals, and timeline planning, she also provided us with great resources early on – like obtaining your marriage license, an AK travel guide (so useful for all of our out-of-state guests), tips and tricks guide, etc. I was also so impressed by the way she worked with all of our vendors.
