“The photographer, videographer, and photo booth was absolutely perfect and our guests had a blast! However, even after going through the work of submitting a Spotify play list and adding do not play songs or DJ played the wrong version of our first dance song (I checked and we had the correct version listed on our playlist we sent over), he also played songs from our do not play list to the point I, the bride, came over to ask if he had the wrong list. He admitted he was using songs from the do not play list as he was not paying attention. I would also like to note, though our wedding was more casual, our DJ was dressed in a sloppy manner. His shirt was half untucked from his pants, there were stains on his shirt and pants. Besides a few hiccups, direct Entertainment was wonderful to work with!”

“Jay Murch was fabulous work with. He was a professional, his app is amazing and helped guide Megan and Brandon with how to select songs all the way through the preceremony to the end of the reception. There was even a place to provide their comments or special memories for particular songs, so that Jay could share. The photo booth was a huge hit too! “Kevin is AMAZING!!! He DJed our wedding celebration in May 2024, and WOW - he was 100000% our dream DJ. We had eloped a year earlier, so our "vision" for the night was to have an epic dance party with all of our friends - Kevin understood this immediately, and delivered truly beyond our wildest imagination! He kept the vibes moving during cocktail hour, and then seriously BROUGHT THE PARTY. The dancefloor was packed for over 3 hours straight. It felt like every single person there asked us where we had found our DJ, and they couldn't believe the mixes he was doing on the fly!! From the moment I first reached out to him in January right up until the end of the event, Kevin was consistently professional, upbeat, and efficient. He replied to all communication quickly, and was SO thoughtful in his preparation. He provided a shared document months ahead of time so that we could share music and scheduling info, and on the night of the event it was so evident that he had paid attention to every single detail ever mentioned in the document, over Zoom, or on our site visit. Every single must-play song came on at the perfect time, he managed to source very specific remixes that I had mentioned, and he kept the night running on schedule with such a chill, stress-free, and adaptable vibe. Kevin even introduced us to his colleague Richie for dance lights when we were debating our lighting options, which also ended up being absolutely perfect! I cannot stress enough how collaborative and understanding Kevin is, how smooth the process was, and most importantly - what a KILLER DJ he is. He truly wants to deliver the night of your dreams. My heart felt like it was going to explode in the best way multiple times that night, because of all the incredible, better-than-you-could-ever-have-imagined dancefloor moments. I wish we had an excuse to do it all over again, I would work with Kevin again in a heartbeat!!!”

“Julian at Limelight and DJ Rashaun were absolutely perfect for us. We knew the vibe we wanted — and, frankly, it was a little off the beaten path since we wanted a bit of a 1930s feeling. “DJ Pat Ryan is the best there is!! Everything was PERFECT, and he absolutely exceeded our expectations. People loved the food, florals, venue, etc. - but we received by far the most compliments about DJ Pat. I (bride) never left the dance floor once... The mixing and transitions to pack as many songs in as possible was fantastic. We like a pretty broad range of genres, and he absolutely nailed it. There was also an amazing balance of music for different generations present - way better executed than we could have dreamed of. We also appreciated the pep talk for our wedding party beforehand, it really set the tone for the whole night! It was really nice getting to know DJ Pat leading up to the wedding as well. He was always available to chat via video call or text if needed. And his shared spreadsheet helped us immensely during the chaos that is wedding planning (especially planning from abroad). “We absolutely loved working with DJ Maggie Mayy for our wedding! One of the most important things to us was having vendors that we felt we could connect with and who understood the vibe we wanted for the day. As soon as we reached out to Maggie we knew that she would be an amazing fit. She was thorough in her emails, and incredibly responsive- I never had to follow up with her or wait on her to answer questions. She was also so kind in her emails, and we could tell how much she loves her job. On the wedding day, we had a few curveballs thrown at us due to weather, and Maggie was super flexible as our coordinator worked out the details. A really sweet touch that I loved was that she came over to check on me and my husband during cocktail hour and dinner to make sure we were doing well and to see if we needed anything. She also fully understood the vibe we were going for based on our must play/do not play lists, and chose the perfect songs all night (even an unprompted "Season of Love" during dinner that had me and my friends out of our seats singing on the dance floor lol). She brought so much energy to the room, and was a perfect emcee- not too overbearing, but fun and lively all night long. We had such a blast, and we truly cannot recommend hiring Maggie enough. She will do everything she can to make sure you have a perfect night!”
