You can tell by the quality of her work and by the way she goes about her business that she both 1) truly cares about her clients and 2) truly loves what she does! Throughout the planning process Jennifer was flexible and attentive, working with us to a create a vision board to ensure our vision of the day and florals would come to life! Throughout the planning process, Jennifer was very responsive to emails and video calls, never letting 24 hours go by without hearing back which put us at ease! She truly listened to our vision for the day, and she absolutely delivered and helped to make our dream day come to life. The florals Jennifer put together (bouquets, cross arrangement, table arrangements, and a stunning hanging display to name a few!) were absolutely breath-taking and beautiful, better than anything I could have imagined! Not only that, Jennifer was an absolute pleasure to work with. She was extremely kind, caring, and authentic as she helped to coordinate the wedding. She communicated seamlessly with vendors and put out all the fires that came her way, and there were a few!! But she did so in a way that reflected professionally on her business and us as her clients. If it was not for Jennifer, I truly believe we would have had so many disasters on our wedding day, but she truly was the glue holding everything together and keeping everything running smoothly!! The most sweet part was that I was truly unaware of most of the mishaps until after-the-fact because Jennifer handled everything so well, and always came up to me with a smile, a thumbs up, and left with a wink! “Sasha Voronova and the Smooth Sailing Team is by far the best decision we made for our wedding this past October (Co-Planning Package). From the professional consultation to the post-wedding lunch date (where we got to gush over everything all over again, including videos and pictures Sasha took of our wedding day!), Sasha was warm, fun, and so incredibly helpful! She put us at ease and made planning this big event not only fun, but what felt like a breeze. She had spreadsheets galore to support every phase of planning, making it very approachable to review vendors, track expenses, and explore resources and websites for anything we needed or were interested in researching on our own. Using her co-planning package, we were routinely impressed with Sasha's professional preparedness blended with her creativity to shape our vision for our wedding, without pushing her own agenda. As is common for throwing a wedding during hurricane season, we needed to go with our "indoor plan" due to the weather. Even though we had picked a venue that had an easy and spacious option for an indoor plan (Jennette's Pier), it was not what any of us wanted. However, Sasha met with us a few days before the wedding and had come up with the most magical plan that included flipping the room from a traditional ceremony set-up to the reception area (which she pulled off in 12 minutes!). She did this all without sacrificing the beauty we envisioned for both parts of our wedding or without disrupting the flow of cocktail hour or our guests experience. Looking back we are still in such awe of her vision, direction, and calm presence to make it all happen. Outside of the stress that comes with "how do we stay dry in this?!" we never felt a moment of stress or anxiety as we moved through the day. She had even planned a special-surprise for us as we arrived at the venue based on something she learned about us in getting to know us. I did a pretty much DIY wedding, my venue did not provide anything other than the venue and furniture, therefore, I had a lot of moving parts to my wedding and multiple vendors involved. Kristen took all the chaotic information I provided and streamlined the whole thing. She organized everything for me into a very easy to follow timeline and then was in constant communication with all the vendors. My regular hair dresser is the hair dresser I used for my wedding and she and I are friends. She told me that from a vendor's perspective, Kristen was the best coordinator/planner she had ever worked with. She was very impressed with her constant communication and all of the details she thought of in preparation of the event. But from my first meeting with Brittney, I felt nothing but utter confidence in her abilities and she definitely proved me right! I hired Brittney for day-of coordination about 2-3 months out from my wedding which took place March 2025. Brittney is an EXPERT event planner who was able to give me so much guidance even though I was so far into wedding planning. She is also EXTREMELY thorough—“day-of” coordination doesn’t just mean you show up on the day of the wedding and Brittney understands that. She put in the necessary prep work, reviewing vendor contracts, creating a detailed day of timeline, coordinating with vendors, and leading the rehearsal. Working with Brittney in the weeks leading up to the wedding and in particular at the rehearsal, I was able to observe the intentionality with which she builds relationships with people. On the wedding day, Brittney was a literal SUPERHERO. She comes equipped with walkie talkies and the most thorough emergency kit I’ve ever seen! There were things that went wrong throughout the day (that’s inevitable) but Brittney shielded me from so much of that by making executive decisions and coming up with solutions on the fly, which allowed me to just enjoy my day. Cold sparks tripped the power in the reception hall—Brittney handled it. Wind kept blowing over the arch as they were trying to decorate—Brittney handled it. By the end of the night, I didn’t want to deal with the train on my reception dress—Brittney handled it (the woman literally stitched a bustle for me lol). “Where to even begin with Balazs Events...I could not imagine my wedding day without the magic that is Parris! From our first conversation, I knew Parris was the planner for us. My husband and I reached out to several premier planners in South Carolina, but Parris stood out immediately for her lightning fast replies, genuine curiosity and interest in our vision, and her warm, friendly demeanor. Parris is a pro. Her contact list of vendors has been curated to the very best and we enjoyed listening to everyone from the florist to the caterer to the live painter all gush about how she's their favorite planner to work with. It's easy to see why. She comes to every meeting prepared with questions, a list of what she's finished since our last conversation, charts, diagrams, everything. As a Type A woman in business myself, it brought me so much joy to see her lay out a printed floor plan of the venue, detailed down to the outlets in the walls, at every meeting and watch it grow in detail as time went on. She kept us on schedule, on budget, and most importantly, STRESS FREE! Leading up to the wedding, Parris was diligent with ensuring we hit every crucial milestone and secured our vendors early. She worked in plenty of vendor discounts along the way, and made sure to incorporate every element from the big ticket items we knew we wanted from day 1 (looking at you, light up dance floor) to the last minute details we just couldn't get off our minds. My favorite thing about planning my wedding with Parris is that she let me take the reins on whatever was important to me and made everything else just...happen. So effortlessly it was like magic. I felt her constant commitment to making sure the day had my signature on it, even down to a few last minute changes I requested that she somehow brought to life. My wedding day was genuinely the happiest day of my life. Parris planned every last detail. The sheer level of detail in her complete day-of schedule is seriously reason enough to book her. If there were any issues with vendors, guests, etc., I have still not heard about them over a month later. I was completely stress free and was able to be fully present in the bliss that comes from marriage to your best friend. If you are planning a large wedding, call Parris. “We had an amazing experience with Carolina Event Masters. We had Kenzie as our coordinator as well as two amazing assistants. We had a 7-month engagement and got married December 20, 2025 for a wedding in Henderson, NC with about 100 people in attendance. We found CEM through a NC brides Facebook page when we posted looking for day-of coordinators. CEM had several options for what level of support we needed and we went with the middle option - it comprised, in brief, day-of coordination and running the rehearsal, assistance finding a few vendors, and several planning meetings. The level of service we received was what I'd expect from a planner more than a coordinator. CEM wasn't there to show up the day-of and motion to the piano to start playing. They coordinated in advance every moment of the day to make sure it went smoothly and was exactly what we wanted. Not only did they get the contact info of all the vendors for emergencies, but they confirmed every policy and communicated with them in advance to make sure they knew what to expect. They toured the church and reception venue to make sure they were familiar with the spaces. Not only did they helped with what we asked about, but they asked questions to help us avoid making last-minute decisions or missing things that were important to us that we hadn't thought about. For ex., they asked about what we wanted to happen with the flowers after the reception. They also gave us advice based on their experience. For ex., recommending we list the table assignments by last name. The rehearsal was very professional and pleasant - they were very prompt and made sure to go through everything thoroughly. The day of the wedding they split up between church/reception venue. EVERYTHING was either on-time or early all day. They went above and beyond to help set up the reception - something we definitely didn't expect from a coordinator. Our reception venue had staff that set the tables etc., and we had a florist, but CEM reviewed everything, made sure the placecards/kids bags/high chiars were in the right place down to the chair, etc. They also were familiar with the type of photobooth we rented and they set it up entirely for us. All this set up and more was just way beyond what we expected and extremely helpful. We could tell they were invested in making everything beautiful and perfect. Sarah also took several beautiful photos for us - a complete surprise and very special treat. One of our favorite photos from the night was one she took of our first dance. This also gave us a sneak peak into what the reception looked like before anyone had arrived! (All attached photos are from her). We had an issue with our seating chart and they saved the day - long story short it was going to be delivered AFTER the wedding and we thought we were out of luck. I mentioned the issue to Kenzie and when I arrived from the church after the ceremony I saw the seating chart in the doorway before our entry! She had ordered it, picked it up, and set it up for us. I don't know how she did it, but she did, and it was so thoughtful and touching that she would put in that extra effort on top of everything they had on their plates. I could go on and on but I hope this reflects just some of what CEM did for our wedding and how thrilled we were with them. They are a lovely group of people. If we HAD to cut any cost or change any vendor, they would be last on the list. It was perfect.”
