“We initially went with Sound Originals out of cost consideration and ease of booking because their combined photo/video package seemed so much more cost effective than many of the quotes we were getting from individual photographers and videographers. We assumed therefore that the quality might be a bit diminished by comparison, but were quite pleasantly surprised to discover that this was not the case! We are beyond pleased with the coverage they provided of our wedding and reception, and would certainly recommend Sound Originals to anyone seeking photo/video of their big day. Our team on the day of the wedding were absolute rock stars. Kate, Trung, and Travis all were incredibly friendly and helpful, and went above and beyond in ensuring we had excellent photos and video--both candids and plandids. We're so grateful to each of them for their excellent work! If you're considering booking Sound Originals, there is one practical consideration we might offer, however: Their business model seems streamlined to provide a standardized product and level of quality to many clients at once by contracting with local photographers and videographers--this is great for ensuring that clients know what to expect visually and that the company has backup photographers ready in case any members of the assigned team can't make it, but this also seems to come at the cost of personal touch when communicating with the company and the photo/video team. Our communications with them were always through a portal on their website and often felt rather impersonal. This was a trade off we were perfectly fine with, given the very affordable price we paid for our package and the piece of mind in knowing that even if our lead photographer got sick or something, someone else would be there to fill in. If you, however, require a high level of customization or personal touch and want to cultivate a close relationship with your photographer, then you may want to hire a photographer/team directly.”

“Seth was amazing as our wedding photographer! Our wedding package included an additional photo shoot that we used as an engagement shoot. This session helped us feel at ease with our decision. He made us feel very comfortable in front of the camera and we were so impressed with how those pictures turned out. Leading up to the wedding day he helped us build our day of timeline and we compiled a list of must have pictures. Seth and Drea helped us stay on schedule and were able to capture all the pictures we wanted. They were organized, professional, and prepared. Any time during the night we wanted a photo captured, Seth and Drea were already on it. They made it so easy for us to enjoy and have fun knowing they were capturing all our special moments. Seth even agreed to stay later because it started snowing and we took some amazing photos in the snow! Seth turned around wedding preview photos for all the big moments in only a few days. “We absolutely loved our experience with Flo as our photographer and hiring her was the best decision that we made about our wedding day. We interviewed a few photographers but had an instant connection with Flo who seemed so enthusiastic and genuinely excited for our love story and wedding. She had such positive energy and we knew we wanted that kind of energy surrounding us on our wedding day. She was also willing to customize a package for us to work with our budget and our needs for the wedding day which was so reassuring - and she is worth every penny of what she charges. We had an awesome engagement session with her before the big day, and even when I broke a nail on the way there, she was so great at keeping me from stressing out. We were able to relax and laugh a lot and be ourselves on camera, and the photos were stunning. We also appreciated how Flo kept in touch with us on Instagram leading up to the wedding and afterwards - it must be so much work to keep up with all of her clients but it really felt so nice that she was following us on our wedding journey. She was so supportive, liking our stories and posts and letting us know she was consistently invested in our story. When the wedding day came it was like we were meeting up with an old friend even though we'd only met in person once for the engagement session. Flo also worked with us to figure out the "wedding timeline" that every vendor seemed to want even though we were a little clueless about it to start. She came up with a plan for the most efficient use of our time to make the day go the smoothest and it really worked out perfectly. She kept us on schedule and used the questionnaire we had filled out to make sure she got all of the shots we requested. All of our wedding party and family told us how great she was and how much they liked working with her. She and her second photographer and assistant were ON IT and captured so many moments throughout the day, they didn't miss a thing! We were able to put complete trust in her and just enjoy the wedding. As for the photos themselves, her style is so beautiful and striking and exactly what we were looking for - we love how saturated her colors are and it worked perfectly for our jewel tone fall wedding. She has a passion for sunset lighting as well and the pictures from our engagement and wedding day at sunset came out so beautifully. For both engagement and our wedding, we had a bunch of sneak peek photos within a day or two which was great to tide us over while we waited for the final products. Communication and payment and the photo gallery platform were all super straightforward. We cannot recommend Flo enough for the genuinely positive energy she will bring to your planning process and wedding day and for the gorgeous photos she will capture on your special day.”

“I have told everyone I know that the decision to marry my husband was the first best decision I made and hiring Michelle as our wedding photographer was the second best!! She is hands down the most amazing and talented person to work with on your wedding day! From the very first Email Michelle makes you feel like you guys have been friends for years! She is so down to earth and instantly makes you feel comfortable whether its through email, FaceTime or over the phone she makes it known that she is there for you the entire planning process. Michelle answers every single email almost instantly and no question is ever a dumb question. “Adam is the best of the best! After scrolling through his photography we knew he would be our perfect choice, but after meeting him, our choice was solidified. Adam is easy going but professional which was portrayed during our first meeting with him. We shared similar styles of wedding photography showcasing the emotions of the day with raw, lighthearted candids vs strict poses with serious faces. We booked an engagement session with Adam, which was a great way for us to get comfortable in front of the camera and get to know Adam more. He allowed us plenty of time to get all the shot locations we wanted and gave us excellent cues to allow for natural poses. We felt at ease with Adam as if it was a best friend taking our photos. Throughout wedding planning, Adam was always there with a quick email response. He is organized, detail oriented and planned a check in with us before the wedding to ensure everything would go smoothly. He truly listened to what we wanted and what our goals were for the wedding day. On the day of our wedding, Adam was the most calm, attentive, and down to earth photographer. My husband and I had the best day of our lives and if you look through our pictures, Adam captured it perfectly. We like to think every part of our day went so smoothly because we had Adam on our side. He seamlessly got through all our family photos and made certain we got all the photos we had planned for. Although, we honestly loved Adam so much because he snapped away during all the moments, planned versus not planned. He has incredible ability to snap photos where you can see emotions and bring you right back to that moment. I cried tears of happiness when we received our sneak peek photos because they were everything and more I could have ever dreamed of. “David was exactly what we were hoping for in a photographer and I couldn’t have asked for someone better to capture our perfect day.
