I have a formal background in theater and have been immensely privileged to work and train all over the world.

Ed Hafizov is a creative director and lead photographer of Zorz Studios, Manhattan-based boutique photography studio, offering alluring and daring fashion, commercial, beauty, and wedding photography. Commissioned by clients from Alaska to India, he braves both the New York City metro area and the world, eager to step out of his–and willing clients’–comfort zone to pursue original artwork with a lasting impression.

Before I ever held a camera, as a kid I was obsessed with organizing and reorganizing printed family snapshots in albums. This infatuation with captured moments, led to picking out my first film camera, a 35mm Pentax, film developing and darkroom printing in high school, and then my BFA in Photography Degree. From there, I worked in varied sectors of photography, but my true passion lay in documentary work that could bring about awareness of challenging global situations. I have published and exhibited journalistic series internationally, notably at Oxford University and Aperture Foundation.

For over two decades, I have dedicated myself to the art of wedding photography and filmmaking. As a passionate artist with a keen eye for detail, I specialize in capturing love stories that are as fiery and unforgettable as they are authentic and beautiful. I have been a photographer for 21 years - it all started when my Mom gifted me my first camera to take on a trip. I shot 30 rolls of film, in a week, all in black & white. A decade later, I sat down to really think about what I wanted from life. At the time, I was playing professional soccer in Denmark, and knew that that experience had an expiration date. I wrote down what I love most - I LOVE people, travel, & photography. I hung up my cleats that very year and went full steam ahead into the most rewarding career I could have ever chosen. My name is Bojan Hohnjec. I am event photographer based in NYC, specialized in weddings & concerts, with over 1000 events behind me.
