Susan Stripling is a New York City luxury wedding photographer, photographing weddings throughout New York, the East Coast, and destinations worldwide. For more than twenty-five years, Susan has photographed weddings ranging from intimate celebrations to multi-day events, bringing calm experience, technical expertise, and a thoughtful eye to every wedding she photographs.

I’m more interested in what actually happens on a wedding day than in what a wedding is supposed to look like. That philosophy shapes everything I do. I don’t believe the best photographs come from manufacturing moments—I think they come from paying close attention to the people, relationships, and light that already exist. Twenty-five years of experience means I can work quickly, adapt to almost any situation, and make difficult lighting look effortless, all while allowing my couples to stay present in their day instead of performing for the camera.
