Hi There! I'M KALA (PRONOUNCED KAY-LUH) Let’s dive right in. I’m a wedding, portrait, and lifestyle photographer and if you don’t spot my hair first, you’ll hear my voice. I have a list for everything (yes, they’re color-coded) and am somehow still finding new ways to decorate a one bedroom NYC apartment (one word—plants).

I asked my fiancé to describe me in once sentence and he said “a mix between energetic and personable... also potatoes.” That’s all you need to know, right? In all seriousness, I love people. I cry at every first look and father daughter dance, and get so excited about photo shoots that I immediately start editing the pictures in my car following a session before leaving the parking lot.
