About Jenny Flora Photography

Before I ever held a camera, as a kid I was obsessed with organizing and reorganizing printed family snapshots in albums. This infatuation with captured moments, led to picking out my first film camera, a 35mm Pentax, film developing and darkroom printing in high school, and then my BFA in Photography Degree. From there, I worked in varied sectors of photography, but my true passion lay in documentary work that could bring about awareness of challenging global situations. I have published and exhibited journalistic series internationally, notably at Oxford University and Aperture Foundation.

With a background in documenting real life in motion, I instantly fell in love with wedding photography; the intensely joyous emotions of friends and family, and the unfettered love between two people. I am honored to be included in these celebrations of love. You’ll see me with a huge smile on my face while I’m capturing your greatest memories unfolding.

    Jersey City wedding photographer

    We used Jenny for our engagement photos in April 2025 and our wedding in September 2025. We couldn’t be happier with how the photos turned out. A mix of the NYC skyline, Liberty State park, Van Vorst park, and our apartment. We love having memories of our day. Our friends and family also love the photos. Jenny was also very well organized and gave us a sample timeline back when we hired her that I used to organize the day and other vendors. She was kind, always on time, and a pleasure to work with. We couldn’t recommend her more.

    Wonderful!

    Working with Jenny was a fantastic experience. She was flexible, attentive, and a really fun presence, and her photography reflected both what we asked for and her expertise of the venue and the best shots.     Amazing photographer and stunning photos

    Jenny was such a pleasure to work with! We did our engagement and wedding pictures with her. She was so kind, thorough, and made my husband and I feel very comfortable in front of the camera. She was very communicative and flexible when it came to planning and she captured our wedding day perfectly. Jenny was so thorough that she even got to know our closest friends and family by name.
