The Westin Poinsett Hotel was built in 1924. After the Great Depression, it started to get a lot of traction from local residents and quickly became known as “Carolina’s Finest.” It was purchased in 1997 and the extensive renovation process began, transforming it to the same flamboyant hotel that hosted guests such as Amelia Earhart and Bobby Kennedy. We can also host the wedding indoors if the couple prefers. Enchanted Acres also has two 600 sq ft cabins to get ready in, one for the bride, and one for the groom. We are located on almost 20 acres of seclusion but yet close to town for guests to stay or a VRBO at the lake.
