The "Total Package"
In the Woods is the perfect combination of a venue with breathtaking natural beauty and amazing coordination. From our very first tour to our wedding day, everything ran smoothly. We held our ceremony in the outdoor chapel overlooking the lake, which provided a stunning backdrop that our guests are still talking about. The bridal suite and groom’s lounge were perfect for getting ready, and the reception space offered that ideal "indoor-outdoor" flow. The grounds are so naturally beautiful that we barely needed any extra decor. Adrea Jackson, our event coordinator, made the entire pre-planning process feel effortless. She was incredibly responsive, always willing to jump on a call or meet in person. And her vendor recommendations were great. On the wedding day, she was so on top of every detail that we were able to be completely present and stress-free. Whether you are local or planning a destination wedding, we cannot recommend Adrea and the In the Woods team highly enough!

We had the most beautiful wedding experience at In the Woods. The property was absolutely beautiful… meticulously maintained yet exuding warmth. We had a fall wedding and many commented on how gorgeous the venue was at that time of year. We stayed in the onsite honeymoon cabin the first night which was such a wonderful place. Catherine could not have been more helpful, generous, flexible, and professional. She responded to our questions immediately each time and always with a heart of helpfulness. Matthew was our day of coordinator and he truly advocated for our day to be everything we had dreamed. I can’t say enough how glad I am we chose In the Woods for the most perfect day ever.

Most Beautiful venue in North GA!
Our wedding day was so elegant! We had a December 2024 wedding and it was BEAUTIFUL! Our families and friends are still talking about how beautiful our ceremony was and how beautiful the venue was! It was a dream come to life!

This venue was absolutely perfect. Matthew was the best coordinator and always made me feel heard. Catherine was so flexible and kind!! They both made a stressful time not stressful and truly made the day perfect. The florist, caterers, and DJ all were so personal and everything was just beautiful. This place helped me to trust the process and vision even when I was doubting myself and it all came to life better than I could’ve ever imagined it! It is the best place and was the best day!!

Such a beautiful venue! My day of coordinator, Rachel, made everything SOOO easy and helped me with ANYTHING I needed! I don’t think the day would’ve gone off as smoothly as it did without her! They do provide a list of preferred vendors, which makes it A LOT easier to book vendors instead of searching for them yourself. They do the majority if not all of the heavy lifting for you! The venue is ABSOLUTELY stunning too! From the ceremony space to the bridal cabin, it was just overall such a beautiful place; I’m STILL getting compliments on the venue! I honestly want to go back and do it all over again!
