About this venue
We are on the bluff, looking over the valley with great views. Far from the hustle and bustle of town. We are very different from most venues. We only host 25 weddings a year. We want each bride and groom to have the time and not rushed on the most magical day of their lives.

This space is roughly 1000 sq ft. It has several large mirrors for the bridal party to get dressed at. It has a beautiful balcony overlooking the mountains and the ceremony area.

Stunning Venue!
Coal City Bluff was an amazing wedding venue for our special day. Their communication style was super helpful, with several ways for us to get in touch. The quality of their work and value was incredible, they had everything we could have wanted or needed. They helped us with the big things for decorating, taking a lot of stress off of us. The venue is so pretty on its own that it didn't even need much added. We also loved that we could stay on site in the cabin they provided, it was the perfect way to make the most of our time there. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and are so grateful to the Coal City Bluff team for helping make our wedding day perfect.

Coal City Bluff was the perfect venue for our wedding. From the moment we first reached out, they were incredibly helpful, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure our day was special. Desta, the owner of the venue, was an absolute joy to work with - she helped everything run smoothly and was so sweet that I didn't want to say goodbye! The venue itself was breathtaking, and they provided all the decor and details we needed to make our vision come to life. The quality of their work and the value they provided was truly exceptional. I cannot recommend Coal City Bluff enough to any couple planning their wedding - they will make your day absolutely perfect.
MOST AMAZING LOCATION
I’m a recent bride who got married in May 2024. I cannot say enough great things about this venue! Desta and her husband (the owners) do a fantastic job keeping the property immaculate and beautiful and I love their can-do/relaxed attitude! My guests kept talking about how beautiful it was and the weather was amazing on our day! If you want the mountain/outdoor feel, this is the place for you! You will not regret it!

When looking for a venue we were told about Coal City Bluff after seeing the amazing views and hearing the price we were instantly hooked! Dasta is absolutely amazing! She brought all of my views to life! She was super easy to work with! Wanna know huge perk?! Not only do you have all those amazing views she’s got 2 “rooms” with nothing but decorations! She had just about everything I needed to make my visions reality from centerpiece to signs she had it ! If you’re looking for a beautiful place to say I DO then this is the place for you! I promise you won’t regret it!
