Independent Family owned boutique film company

Hi! We're Toukay + Kari — a husband-wife film team capturing weddings the way we'd want our own remembered: as real, cinematic love stories. Based in Atlanta, we're a Christian-owned boutique studio with 16+ years behind the lens. We're guided by Colossians 3:23: "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart." It's why we limit how many weddings we take each year — so every couple gets our full attention, our full creativity, and our full hearts.

Our approach is cinematic documentary — meaning we don't pose the moment, we capture it — the way your dad's voice cracked during his speech, the way you looked at each other during your vows, the way the room felt when you said "I do." These are the moments we capture, and these are the moments you'll relive every time you press play. Because we believe storytelling matters, every couple we work with gets a one-on-one storyboard session before the big day.     This was the BEST decision! Kari with 2k Films was so sweet and professional and on top of the planing all the way up to the event. And just when I didn’t think I could like a vendor more, we met Toukay and Blue on the wedding day and LOVED them. Not only are they talented with the videography, but they are fun and kind and professional too. I honestly can’t recommend 2K Films enough. It is worth it and you will have the most amazing video when your day is done! If your budget is tight - cut somewhere else and go with the videographer 100%! My friend just got married and regrets not hiring a videographer. It is something we will have forever and we can’t stress this enough. AND - definitely go with 2K Films! You will not find better. TY Toukay for working on your birthday and for making our wedding day even more fun. Thank you for the incredible lasting memories you captured on our wedding day video! We couldn’t love it more!!!!

    Pictured Perfectly

    2K films did an amazing job at our wedding. We booked 1 photographer and he did great getting all the pictures. I like to think of myself as an awkward person infront of the camera but 2K knew how to pose me and everyone well. Before booking we were able to go over style and if there were any specific pictures we wanted to include. We received our pictures less than 2 weeks after the wedding and they all looked amazing.

    Phenomenal

    We worked with 2KFILMS for our wedding video and photo package, and they made the whole process really easy from start to finish. They were prompt with every email and call, always taking time to explain what they'd do and guide us through our options. The wedding day, they were professional and friendly, blending right in with our guests while capturing everything beautifully. What really impressed us was how fast they turned around our final photos. The quality of their work is outstanding. We'd absolutely recommend 2KFILMS to any couple looking for photographers who actually care about their clients, will definitely use them again for any of our family photography needs.

The deposit 25% for our signature combo packages (film+photo) and 50% for our solo videography OR photography packages.
Yes we offer both! You can book us for just videography, or just photography; the bundled packages with film+photo are the best value!
We schedule a consultation call via Zoom to meet face to face to see if you think we are a good fit for your big day! This is an intimate moment and we want to make sure that you feel 100% comfortable working with us. After the consultation, we put a soft hold on your date for 1 week. We send you a contract proposal and invoice estimate after our consultation for your review. The deposit is 50% to secure your date. Within that week you can continue to shop around to compare quotes with the peace of mind that your date is on hold. If you do not pay the deposit within that week, you can still move forward but your date will be released.
Yes! Each package includes our unique and exclusive story boarding session. This is a 30 min to max 1 hour consultation where we story board your wedding film. We will help you develop your shotlist and fully customize/stylize your wedding film. Each couple has a different story and a different style. We want to make sure your film is 100% YOU. Some couples prefer more candid, raw emotional shots, some prefer more posed luxurious shots, and that's ok! We never assume, and take the pride out of our art. It's not about us, it's about YOU. We are servant-oriented and are here to serve you and bring your vision to life.
2KFilms started in 2008 when our owner Toukay Thomas was in high school; for his senior project he made a documentary film about how his family was affected by Hurricane Katrina and hasn't stopped story telling through film ever since! We have done over 300 music videos, over 50 weddings, 4 of our own independent feature films, worked on many other film sets, and we can't count how many photography sessions we have done. We take all of that 17 years of experience and pour it into your wedding film. Our motto is Colossians 3:23-24, and we serve our clients with love, respect, and gratitude.
Yes! We’re happy to send a copy of our certificate of liability insurance to your venue or any other vendors upon request.
We only share your wedding photos or videos with your permission. Our contract has a checkbox where you can give us permission or not to share your content for promotional purposes.
All footage we film is edited in-house by us! We are a small family owned company and plan to keep it that way. We do not outsource any of our work to third parties. The quality you see is what you will get.
Absolutely. Reach out anytime to ask about our special pricing for elopements!
We turn around our films faster than anyone in the business, we offer a 14 day turn around for 1st draft delivery. Same with photos!
Yes! We offer 2 correctional phases to ensure you are 100% satisfied with your video! The third draft of the film will be your final film. If you end up needing more than 2 correctional phases, an additional editing fee will be quoted separately. But we haven't had that yet ;)
Yes! Each videography package comes with a social media teaser reel. You can request additional reels for an added charge/package add on. We also offer a package add on for exclusive social media content shots if you need more content.
Deposits are non-refundable, but you can apply your deposit towards a credit for future services or towards another wedding date, subject to availability. We do offer options for 25%/33% deposits if you need more time to gather the funds for your wedding. Just ask us!
