We are a modern venue just north of Atlanta in Gainesville, GA on Lake Lanier. If you’re looking for serene lake views paired with luxury facilities, you are in the right place. Whether you are planning the wedding of the century, a corporate function, or intimate wine tasting, you will fall in love with The Oakley on the Lake. The Oakley on the Lake kisses the shoreline of beautiful Lake Lanier, nestled under the protection of tall pines and strong oaks. Enter matrimony hedged by beautiful views and then celebrate in style in our elegantly contemporary indoor/outdoor flex space. We are scheduled to start hosting events in early 2024.

    Best venue ever

    I loved working with The Oakley. The team there is very professional, knowledgeable and helpful. The venue itself is GORGEOUS! Our guests have been raving about it since our wedding. You don’t need a lot of decor because the venue is so thoughtfully laid out, there isn’t much need. We also took advantage of renting out the airbnb they have on site. This was a game changer for us and saved a lot of travel time and served as a great pre and post wedding gathering spot. 10/10 would recommend for any event

    From our first conversation, Angela and Sarah at The Oakley on the Lake were direct and responsive with us. They collaborated on every detail and answered our questions without hesitation, even helping us solve last-minute problems that popped up during planning. The staff on our wedding day was genuinely friendly and went out of their way to help us feel taken care of. Angela and Sarah have created such a beautiful, modern space that it became my favorite part of the wedding. Every moment felt special in that venue, and we couldn't have asked for a better team to make our day unforgettable!

    BEST WEDDING VENUE

    From the moment we first inquired about The Oakley on the Lake, the communication with Angela and Sarah was quick, effective, and incredibly friendly. They were so excited to help us plan our special day and made us feel like we were their top priority. The venue itself is clean, new, modern, and chic, which was the perfect feel for our wedding. Angela and Sarah were instrumental in helping us find amazing vendors, and they made every part of the planning process seamless, safe, and fun. My husband and I feel like we gained forever friends through this experience, and The Oakley on the Lake will always hold a special place in our hearts.

    Oakley on the Lake Review

    Oakley was a beautiful venue. Whether we were working with Angela, Megan or Sarah, everyone was great. The walkthroughs, the tours, the responsiveness on emails and calls were super timely. Everything was professional from the very beginning and our day was beautiful and everything was set up just the way we discussed. We'd get married here again if we could!

    Best venue ever!

    I could not have dreamed of a better venue for my wedding. Everything was PERFECT. Everyone at my wedding could not stop talking about how beautiful everything at the venue was. From the gorgeous bridal/groom suites, to the landscaping, to the ceremony site, beautiful turf area for cocktail hour and the amazing reception space. Even the bathrooms are gorgeous. No detail was missed. Angela and team went above and beyond to make all my dreams and wishes happen. All of my photos are GORGEOUS there isn’t a bad place for a photo here!
