Founder/Head Planner

First and foremost, I am a safe space for people of color, the LGBTQ community, and the disabled community. I'm a planner based in Athens, GA and I want to work with ALL KINDS of couples. My personal taste tends toward the whimsical, ethereal, or quirky. I started Evenstar Events because 1) I adore weddings, 2) I LOVE planning, and 3) I wanted to represent and work with communities that I wasn't seeing represented in other's work in this industry.

I plan weddings for anyone who wants to plan outside the box! I love weddings that go against the grain. If you're longing for a unique wedding, planned with someone who is stoked to work with you, who shares your excitement for going outside of tradition, we will be best friends. I've made a point to compile a huge network of LGBTQ-friendly vendors to choose from in the Georgia/Tennessee area and I'm always expanding this list. I am incredibly resourceful and I'm an expert problem solver - if you need something particular, I will find it. And on your wedding day, you won't experience anything but marital bliss and love from your guests.

    Absolutely lifesaving

    Dylan made our wedding so incredibly easy and smooth. Her communication pre-wedding was excellent - she emailed often, offered assistance, and guided me in the things I wanted to do myself. Our day-of schedule that she developed kept us mainly on time and had the vendors in the right places at the right time. On the day of the ceremony, she made sure we were ready, wrinkle-free, fed, watered, etc. I have no idea how the wedding would have flowed so well without her, and I would recommend her services a thousand times over. Dylan - thank you so much for everything you did. Our day was perfect in large part because of your incredibly hard work.

    What a beautiful day!

    Dylan coordinated much of our wedding back in October 2025 and their help made the day go so smoothly! I didn't feel like I had to worry about much of anything with her there and my partner and I were able to just enjoy our special day and have fun with everyone. Highly recommend Evenstar Events!
