Not just a wedding day—your own private mountain wedding weekend. Nantahala Weddings is a 6.5-acre destination venue overlooking Lake Nantahala and the Smoky Mountains. Our multi-day packages give you exclusive use of the property for your entire stay—no other weddings or events, no curfew, and no limit on how many gatherings you host. Welcome dinner, lake day, rehearsal, wedding, late-night fire pit, farewell brunch—it all happens here, at your pace. Pets are welcome and we’re proudly LGBTQ+ friendly. And we have lodging for up to 20 (the house for 10 is included!) Think, luxurious summer camp meets mountain wedding weekend: lake, mountains, forests, rivers and waterfalls, with the people you love gathered together for more than just a few hours. Our multi-day weekend package includes lodging for 10 for $13,750. Our multi-day weekday packages includes the same for $9,750 (microwedding) or $11,750 (full wedding. We also offer one-day packages starting at $6,750.

Celebrate under the glow of chandeliers and café lights in our open-air Reception Pavilion, surrounded by the mountains and sounds of Nantahala. Designed for long dinners, packed dance floors and late nights by the fire, it’s relaxed, warm and unmistakably mountain. Clear walls and heaters can transform the space for cooler weather without losing the feeling of being surrounded by nature.

Chapel in the Sky is our signature outdoor ceremony setting—natural, breathtaking, and intentionally simple, letting the landscape take center stage. After “I do,” your guests can stay and enjoy cocktail hour overlooking the lake while you slip away for photos.

Fie Top Suite is the central hub at Nantahala Weddings—set up like a boutique hotel with an oversized honeymoon suite and three private, key-coded bedrooms, each with a full bath. The Bridal Salon is spacious and luxurious; the Groom’s Lounge features a projector, games, lounge seating, fridge, and a speaker. The full kitchen, dining room, balcony with lake views, gas fire pit, and grill make it ideal for hosting. Included with all multi-day venue rentals.

BEYOND perfect
Y’all… when I say this is the most beautiful and perfect wedding venue, I am not exaggerating. I am a yapper. I have absolutely zero issue sitting here and writing a THESIS on how perfect this venue is, but I also understand that nobody wants to read my 47 page dissertation, so I’ll summarize it with this: There is NOTHING I would have wanted different from this venue. The venue itself is stunning. Literally breathtaking. Every single space is gorgeous and thoughtfully designed, and I am still in awe that we got to have our wedding in a place this beautiful. The accommodations are incredible. Whether it’s the plethora of amazing Airbnb and lodging options nearby, the information provided by the venue, or the decor and items available onsite, everything they offer is genuinely invaluable. They have thought of SO many things that make planning and actually enjoying your wedding day easier. And the owners, Jess and Jody… literal saints. They are wonderful, beautiful humans who have curated such a special space. They have laid everything out in such a clear and direct way that you always know exactly what to expect, what is included, and what they bring to the table. There were never any mystery fees or confusing surprises. They are transparent, organized, and genuinely want you to have the best day possible. Y’all… and the BANG FOR YOUR BUCK. I was genuinely flabbergasted at how affordable this venue is considering EVERYTHING it offers. You get an absolutely gorgeous mountain venue, accommodations, decor, resources, incredible accessibility, vendor coordination, and so much more. It is an insane value. And the accessibility still astounds me. We got married on the top of a LITERAL MOUNTAIN, and my grandmothers were able to enjoy our entire wedding day without having mobility issues. That is something that meant so much to us, and it is entirely thanks to the way Jess and Jody designed and maintained this venue. The onsite accommodations are splendid. The way the venue coordinates with vendors is absolutely impeccable. Everything just WORKS. And then there’s the fact that Jess PARTIED WITH US. She stayed late into the night, was right there celebrating with us, and helped make our reception feel less like we were at a venue and more like we were celebrating with friends. The fact that there is NO END TIME meant our party kept going until 4 AM, and our guests are STILL talking about how late into the night the celebration lasted. Our wedding day was beyond perfect, and Nantahala Weddings played such a huge part in making it that way. We could not be more grateful that we chose this venue, and we genuinely cannot wait to continue using it as our go to spot for family portraits and special occasions in the future. So, if you’ve made it to the end of this and you’re STILL wondering whether you should consider Nantahala Weddings for your wedding, let me make the decision easier: TAKE A GANDER AT OUR PICTURES. Hearing that your grandmothers could comfortably enjoy your entire wedding day on top of a literal mountain means more than we can say. You know how people make New Year's Resolutions? Well, that ability for couples to have their elders at their mountain venue was ours a few years ago! ✅ We love that you took advantage of all of our amenities, from the décor room to onsite accommodations and were able to enjoy your entire wedding weekend without rushing. That is exactly what we hope this place gives our couples. And okay—I, Jess, may have crashed the dance floor for a minute, but only because your group was so open and welcoming! Welcoming, helpful- truly a wonderful venue/vendor
From our first conversation with the team at Nantahala Weddings, we knew we had found the right venue for us. They responded to every question quickly and gave us clear answers that made planning so much easier. The venue itself is gorgeous with its picturesque setting, and we loved how welcoming and clean everything felt. What really set them apart was their genuine care for making our day special—they provided us with a preferred vendor list and helped us problem-solve when we had questions. The space is ADA compliant and they were incredibly accommodating to all of our needs. The staff are truly nice people who went out of their way to make sure we felt supported throughout the whole process, and our wedding day was perfect because of them.

From the moment we started planning, the team at Nantahala Weddings was direct and informed about what they could offer us. They answered our questions right away and gave us helpful advice as we thought through our vision. The venue itself is stunning and well maintained, with plenty of room to make it feel exactly how we wanted. We loved that they provided Polaris rides to help guide guests during the ceremony, parking and check-in, which was such a fun and unique touch. Beautiful venue and amazing people!!
Nantahala weddings was the absolute best choice! We toured many venues but their attention to detail and true interest in our story really drew us to Nantahala. Not only was Jess amazing and so so helpful throughout the planning process, she also gave us the most amazing post-wedding experience we could have asked for! After our wedding we participated in the wedding dress challenge (started by Jess!!) where we hiked, paddle boarded, biked, and rafted all while wearing my wedding dress! Jess was an amazing host and the challenge was such a treat! If you're looking for a truly memorable wedding, Nantahala is the place!
