Mike was responsive and very patient with our back and forth leading up to the wedding - my fiance and I left song decisions to the last minute, but Mike was extremely flexible. My fiance and I have specific taste in music and gave Mike a long list of "must plays" and "do not plays" but again, he was super flexible and kept our guests on the dance floor until the last dance. He was even willing to throw down when our guests pushed back on exiting the dance floor for the private last dance - they had a different idea of a send off, which ended up perfect, but he stood ground until I said it was good by us. If you want someone who is experienced and is there to make your day as special as possible, then you have to go with Excite Mobile DJs and Event Lighting”

“We booked Music on the Move for our wedding and couldn't have been happier with our choice. From the very first email, they responded quickly to every question we had, which made the planning process so smooth. They really understood our music taste and created a vibe that was exactly what we wanted - the song selection was awesome and kept things casual even during dinner. It was a small intimate wedding. So this was just what we needed in a D.J. Cocktail hour with a special speaker he had, amazing. Since we had the cocktail hour on a different floor, it worked so well!! The uplighting they brought was a huge hit with our guests, and they were super accommodating when we asked them to adjust the timeline for some special requests. “DJ Motiv was extraordinary. I was so impressed by his professionalism, communication, and willingness to make sure our night was perfect. I was skeptical at first with some reviews mentioning that the DJ’s weren’t playing the songs they chose. I immediately reached out and that was informed that it would not be an issue. ALL of our chosen music was played, with some song requests of guests (with bride’s approval, per DJ motiv - loved that). DJ Motiv checked in with us constantly, even to make sure our food was at our table, if we needed drinks, if the music was going well, and if there was anything he could do. He was going above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed. I even threw in special requests during my wedding, including him stopping my parent dance half way (on purpose) as if the music turned off, to take the mic and give a short speech. He did it phenomenally. I had a game request, with him being the commentator and director of, and he took that role and ran with it. The wedding guests LOVED him. I have nothing negative to say about his services. Even the photobooth was done great! I also had a custom sign made, with our new last name, and it was perfect! We used Bright Set for our wedding at Mountain View Grand in May 2026 and hired them for our DJ, photo booth, ceremony and reception audio, and piano music. From the very beginning, Cassandra was incredible to work with. We spent over a year planning together, and she was organized, responsive, detail-oriented, and always willing to hop on a call, answer questions, or help think through ideas. One thing that really stood out was how invested Cassandra was in making sure everything ran smoothly. She wasn't just someone behind the scenes coordinating logistics — she was actually onsite for our wedding day and felt like part of our team. Unfortunately, we experienced an unexpected fire alarm interruption immediately following our first dance that temporarily paused our reception and forced guests outside. Cassandra, alongside our day-of coordinator, immediately jumped into problem-solving mode. When we were finally able to return to the ballroom, she creatively had us reintroduced to "Fire Burning" by Sean Kingston, which turned a stressful situation into a funny and memorable moment that had everyone laughing. We were so grateful for her ability to stay calm, think quickly, and help keep the energy positive. DJ Dennis was fantastic and kept the dance floor packed all night. He did an amazing job reading the room and creating a fun atmosphere for guests of all ages. The photo booth was a huge hit as well. “Alan C was easy and great to work with! We had a music range from Bad Bunny, Creed, The Killers and more! We shared with him a playlist of some of our favorite songs, a list of "do not play" whether they were styles of music, artists or specific songs and a "must play" list. His online forum was easy to navigate and use. We loved the uplighting and the audio guestbook (phone)!! Also I appreciate that he read and followed through with all the small notes we left for him (specifically we asked for father/daughter, mother/son and first dance to end after the chorus and not play the entire 3-4 minutes). As a fellow wedding vendor, I do a happy dance when I see that we're working together because I know I'm not going to have any trouble getting some killer dancing shots! On a technical side of things, they are super accommodating for my needs (I do video and they allow me to get a clean audio feed out from their soundboard with no hesitation) and they always sound great! If you're hoping to get grandma up & dancing before the salad course comes out, this is your band. Their dedication to keeping the party alive all night is unlike any other band I've worked with, as they bring along their own DJ to cover when they are taking a much-needed break. They are worth every penny, and your guests will be talking about your wedding band for years to come if you bring them on to your wedding team!”

He showed real attention to detail when we asked him to cut our first dance songs to fit our timeline, and he nailed the transitions throughout the night. “Joey G is like my cool uncle except he’s got sick DJ skills. He did our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. Not only was he professional and organized, but he also brought an incredible energy to our wedding. For the ceremony and cocktail hour, we provided him with a specific music selection, and even though we never rehearsed together, he nailed it perfectly. During the reception, we gave him a playlist, and he struck the perfect balance between sticking to our choices and reading the crowd to keep everyone dancing. One highlight was when Joey G handed the microphone to people in the crowd, turning our reception into an impromptu karaoke party. It was a blast! He was not only fun and engaging but also very attentive to our needs. He asked how to pronounce each name correctly for the toasts, ensuring everything went smoothly. We requested that he not take song requests, and he respected our wishes completely. The sound quality was stellar, and his equipment setup was flawless. Joey G understood our need for clean music as we had many families with young children attending, yet he still kept the atmosphere lively and fun. The dance floor was packed with all 150 guests! Joey G was also a great help with announcements, coordinating toasts, and working with friends and family to announce the newlyweds and photo groups. His flexibility and attention to detail were impressive. Overall, I highly recommend Joey G to any couple looking for an awesome wedding DJ. “I've never worked with a DJ as good as Drew and his crew. Drew had sent me an email a few weeks before the couples wedding with the reception timeline (a first) and kept me up-to-date with any last minute changes the day of. It is clear by working with Drew how much he loves his job and how much he cares about the couples he works with. He got the crowd going, the dance floor was always packed and he invited the couple up to DJ booth which was so fun for them and also amazing for pictures.
