The towering artwork, the gorgeous water filled quarry, and the amphitheater made out of local marble made a gorgeous backdrop for our big day. The folks at TurnPark made it super easy and beautiful, helping out with the sound system, seating, and many other details that made it so perfect. From our first conversation, their team responded quickly and gave us all the details we needed to feel confident in our choice. The bridal suite was gorgeous and spacious, giving me a calm place to get ready before walking down the aisle. “We had such an amazing weekend at Camp Lenox - cannot thank the Rich, Leslie, and the rest of the staff enough. They made the weekend about as stress-free as we could have hoped - even despite the tornado warning on Saturday! Our guests had an amazing time from start to finish, and would not have been possible without lots of help. From putting together table arrangements, setting up campfires on 3 consecutive nights, making sure everyone got to their cabins and were settled in, having food prepared for 100 guests from Friday-Sunday, guiding hikes, coordinating all the vendors, supervising beer olympics, etc etc etc -- THANK YOU!!!!!!!”

“I don’t even know where to begin. At the beginning of our wedding journey, finding a venue was the hardest thing we could’ve done. My husband and I had a specific vision in mind and had an incredibly difficult time finding a place that we loved that was also within our budget. We’re from the LI area but knew we wished to get married upstate. We must have visited at least 10 venues. Then on our way home from one, my husband found Stablegate on a whim. We looked everything over and it had the barn that I wanted, and the catering included that my husband wanted and I said “if we visit and we like it, I’m putting a deposit down the next day.” And that’s exactly what we did. Birch Hill is an incredible family owned company with so many aspects attached to it, it was hard not to fall in the second we saw it. Over 2.5 years, I never once regretted that decision and once the wedding day came and went I knew it was the right choice for us. The food is amazing and a ton of different options (including catering to my vegan guests), the staff are incredible, and the vibes are immaculate. Our wedding coordinator Jared was really the star of the show. He was super accommodating to all of our needs, organized, and just all in all a ridiculously sweet and funny guy. When our wedding day ended up getting rained out, he came up with backup plans right on the spot that honestly fit our vibe so much more than our original plan and I really truly have Jared to thank for that. Jared treated us like we were old friends that he was just helping throughout the day. He is someone I will truly forever be the most grateful for to have on my wedding day. I have heard so many horror stories about venues, and I can honestly say this is not one of them. Stablegate Barn and the Birch Hill Catering Company have my highest recommendation. And if you need a coordinator, ask for Jared. Really truly from the bottom of my heart, thank you for an amazing wedding day.”

“My wedding experience at Birch Hill was incredible, and I owe so much of that to Serena and her amazing team! We started the booking process in early March, hoping for a September/October wedding date, and thankfully found one that worked. Serena was an absolute goddess from start to finish—she gave us a thorough tour of all the location options, answered every question, and made the entire process feel effortless. We knew almost immediately that no other venue would compare! Since we were on a tight timeline, I reached out to Serena frequently with questions, and she always responded promptly and thoroughly. By our 90-day planning meeting, we were already so comfortable with everything, and Serena guided us seamlessly through food choices (of which there were so many!) and other details. Her expertise really shone through when I wasn’t sure about certain things; she made it all so simple and stress-free. On the big day, I felt so confident in Serena and her team—it was like everything was taken care of before I could even think about it. I truly felt like I had nothing to worry about and could be fully present in every moment, which made the day even more magical. They thought of every detail, big and small, allowing me to simply enjoy and soak it all in. Speaking of the food—it was hands down the best meal I’ve ever had! We chose the Cocktail Style package and went with a wide range of options, including crispy calamari with lemon-garlic aioli, French onion soup, cider bacon-wrapped chicken, pulled pork wonton bites, and mini grilled cheeses with tomato soup shooters, among others. Every single bite was phenomenal! The prime rib was cooked to perfection, and the mashed potato bar and pasta station were crowd favorites. Our guests raved about the gourmet French fry station that we had later in the night. While we handpicked the items, I genuinely believe that anything else on their menu would have been just as amazing—the quality and flavors were out of this world. At the end of the night, everything was packed up perfectly and already in my car before I even stopped partying! If I had to give any constructive feedback, it would be about the bridal suite. It was a very warm day for late September, and the air conditioning hadn’t been turned on before we arrived, so the suite was quite hot initially. Other than that, our ceremony by the pond was absolutely beautiful. While the mosquitos and some goose droppings were a minor annoyance, the setting was otherwise perfect and so romantic. All in all, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Serena’s commitment and attention to detail made our wedding truly unforgettable!”

Rating: 5.0 (2 reviews)
Ashfield, MA

We plan, arrange, and cater events—weddings, bat and bar mitzvahs, showers, reunions, small gatherings, memorial services or anything you can think of, indoors or outdoors. We host events here at the Curtis House, our 1850s Dutch Colonial. The summer home of George William Curtis, then the editor of Harpers Weekly. It’s a charming, sprawling old house that abuts the town green. During warmer months events take place in our gardens and the fully restored late 19th century barn. Whatever you imagine for your event, we're here to help you realize your dreams. We'll help you every step of the way, from planning and budgeting to coordinating the day. We open our home to you and take away all the stress of planning your dream day. We want to make your day about who you are.

Why you'll love this venue

  • Unique barn setting
  • Exudes old-world charm
  • Has a relaxed and casual vibe

Venue considerations

  • Does not allow pets
  • Not wheelchair accessible
  • Not for you if you prefer a more modern aesthetic
“I cannot speak highly enough about our experience hosting our wedding at The Curtis House by Gloriosa & Co. My husband and I got married a couple of weeks ago (September 2024) and our wedding was truly one the happiest, best days of our lives thanks to the love and personalization that Gloria and Emma put into planning and executing our day. We were drawn to so many things about the venue, including the charming setting of Ashfield, the rustic but modernized aesthetic of the barn, the beautiful gardens and greenhouse, and the house being an available space to get ready. We were also drawn to the convenience and uniqueness of being able to provide our floral arrangements from Gloria’s greenhouse and gardens on-site, and having all of the food and beverages taken care of through the venue’s catering and bar team. But what made us decide to book this venue for our special day was the attention that Gloria and Emma give each couple. This venue is not your typical wedding factory that puts on weddings multiple times a week, every week of the year; Gloria and Emma host between 12-15 weddings per year and consequently each couple they work with gets full access to the venue the weekend of their wedding and so much guidance during the planning process. We were able to cultivate a vegetarian menu consisting of so many of our favorite foods plus a number of signature dishes of the venue, such as a butternut squash galette that was a crowd favorite. Sustainability is also incredibly important to us as a couple, and Gloria and Emma are committed to sourcing only local, seasonal ingredients for the food and florals and minimizing waste, which meant so much to us. In terms of decor and furnishings, the venue has so much available for couples to use, such as tables, chairs, ceremony benches, several wedding arches to choose from, displays for food or guest favors, tableware, candles, string lights, and more. We did not have to rent or coordinate anything other than the few DIY projects we made, which Gloria and Emma effortlessly integrated into the set up for us. Being able to take care of practically everything through Gloria and Emma made planning so much simpler. On the wedding day, Gloria, Emma, and their team handled the venue set up in a few hours, which happened like a choreographed dance that required practically no work from us or our wedding parties other than providing input and approval along the way. Everything went extremely smoothly and we were able to be fully present. After our ceremony, my husband and I returned to the house, where Gloria had set up champagne and a spread of our hors d'oeuvres for us to enjoy over a few minutes of privacy, which is something she had recommended we do as we took in the moment together. Our guests have had nothing but positive things to say about our wedding and it was clear the day of how much fun everyone had. We have received so many compliments about how beautiful and authentic the venue was, how exquisite Gloria’s floral arrangements were, how delicious all of the food was (even the heavy meat-eaters loved the vegetarian menu), and how this will be a wedding they will always remember. Gloria made us feel like part of her family and we were so happy to be able to support her business. We truly could not have asked for a more memorable, personalized, loving, and beautiful wedding, and hope that many other couples have the pleasure of getting married at this special place.”

“Before the wire event center opened up, I remember seeing posts on Facebook about an event venue opening up in Coxsackie. I remember being instantly intrigued and put it on my dream wedding list. Then the space opened and I saw some pics of the completed space and again put it on my dream wedding list. Then started to see pictures of weddings at the wire and again put it on my dream wedding list. Fast forward to when I got engaged and consulted my dream wedding list and saw I had this place listed 3 times. It seemed pretty clear this was where our wedding had to be. I am so glad we went with the wire. The space is absolutely beautiful - whether you are indoors or outdoors. The cocktail space versus the reception space give you different feels but are equally beautiful. Not to mention it’s super convenient to have the venue space right next to your hotel, and the ability to have your rehearsal dinner and after party at the tavern next door. You never have to leave the area! The bridal suite for getting ready is gorgeous and roomy and perfect for your hair and make up artists. It is a little bit of a splurge for the venue fee but honestly was worth it for the access you have within the space. My only real critique is it could be a little difficult to get in communication with the team at times cause how busy they’d be with wedding season. While it is very understandable, it also seemed to take them significantly longer to respond than any other wedding vendor we used. I think it hopefully is just growing pains as they had some changes in the overall team over the course of our planning. In the end, even if responses took some time, everything we needed and wanted was handled so it in no way makes us second guess our decision. We loved the space, our day was perfect and we are so glad we went with the wire!”

The Caboose
Rating: 5.0 (4 reviews)
Hudson, NY
  • Up to 184 guests
  • All-inclusive
  • Indoor & outdoor
  • Starts at $45,000

Welcome to The Caboose, a stunning 3,500-square-foot space steeped in Hudson Valley history, reimagined for an open, modern feel that’s both communal and cosmopolitan. With its soaring beamed ceilings and expansive cathedral windows, The Caboose is truly the best wedding venue in Hudson, NY and the perfect spot to host your next seated event, where guests can enjoy a seasonal farm-to-table menu curated by Executive Chef Nicole LoBue. After dinner, continue the fun with dancing and drinking, or simply step outside to watch the sun set on our lush private garden filled with over 14,000 perennials. Whatever you decide, The Caboose is the space to enjoy all the modern amenities you’ve come to expect from a venue like ours — including killer sound and PA systems and aesthetic finishes like warm woods, cool marbles and stone, and hand-finished metals, all accomplished without sacrificing our commitment to being 100% carbon-neutral — because we love our planet as much as we do our guests.

Why you'll love this venue

  • Both indoor and outdoor options
  • Picturesque garden backdrop
  • Has a fun and festive vibe

Venue considerations

  • Not wheelchair accessible
  • Best for events with big guest lists
  • No on-site guest accommodations
“We had a roundabout journey to The Caboose, but I couldn't be happier that it's where we landed for our wedding in September '25. From the jump, we appreciated the gorgeous space, their commitment to doing right by the planet, and the affiliation with Kitty's—some of our favorite food in Hudson. The combination of a beautiful garden and stunning indoor space made us feel like we were safe no matter the weather. Every time we visited, the garden got better. We loved how lush and colorful it was for our day. We enjoyed working with Caitlin, the venue manager. She was creative and flexible and willing to work with us to do a few things a little differently (like have the ceremony in a different spot in the garden). The food was truly incredible—we still have people raving about it! We appreciated that because we were right on the edge seasonally, we were able to choose the summer menu instead of the one for fall, which felt just right for the day's weather and feeling. Because we had our tasting in February, we weren't able to try most of the items we had, but we trusted we were in good hands—and we definitely were. The kitchen team was also incredibly accommodating with our guest's dietary restrictions—everyone felt very cared for, which is what we hoped for the most! We had live music as well as a DJ and everything sounded truly great in the space. The staff working on our day was SO kind and helpful—people made mention of how warm everyone was, too. I saw many a chitchat at the bar, just because they were so lovely! Just a note, too, that while The Caboose was pricey, we were totally amazed by the value and all that they take care of. We looked at dozens of venues—from full-service spots to DIY operations—and kept coming back to the mix of creativity, value, and quality that The Caboose offered. The fact that they take care of the food, drinks, furniture rentals, lighting, sound system, and staff—and all at such a high caliber—unheard of! We truly couldn't have done it without them. We are located on 30 acres of manicured lawns and traditional New England style gardens, nestled in between two shimmering lakes. Guests staying with us enjoy use of the many property amenities. We host only one wedding per day to insure that our focus is entirely on you.

“We can’t say enough good things about Interlaken. During early wedding planning, we were initially torn between two venues, and what made us choose Interlaken was how incredibly responsive and friendly everyone we interacted with here was. Robyn gave us the tour of the venue and answered our million questions while we were in the decision phase (she was a joy to work with), and Susan was our assigned planner after we booked. Susan was super organized and on top of everything, and made sure we were feeling comfortable and prepared in the months leading up to the wedding. She was very accommodating, listening to our vision and making basically all of it a reality. She handled the logistics for all our events from rehearsal dinner to after party, and absolutely every part went flawlessly. The maître d’ and other support staff were equally incredible, going out of their way to make sure we were brought drinks and fed and happy the whole night. The venue itself is gorgeous, and it was a huge bonus to have all our guests able to stay on-site and able to entertain themselves with tennis and swimming and other included activities. The lake itself is so beautiful, and it made for a fairytale-like backdrop for the ceremony. All in all, Interlaken made our perfect wedding a reality, and we are so grateful we decided to go with them.”

As someone who loves planning and DIY, I appreciated how customizable everything was. I was able to incorporate my own personal touches right down to the last-minute details. Erin and Myles were amazing throughout the entire process, making sure everything went smoothly. I wish I could relive that day again and again because it truly was perfect. I can’t recommend The Boylston Rooms enough!”

“Hands down, choosing the Hotel Northampton was one of the best decisions I made during wedding planning, besides saying yes to my husband! I had spent years mentally preparing for how difficult this process could be, but I cannot express how easy the team made it for us. In my professional life, I plan large-scale events. Even with my background, I was blown away and deeply grateful for the professionalism, flexibility, and expertise of everyone involved. Honestly, I don't know how Hotel Northampton makes any money off of weddings! They include so much, the food, drink, and cake to the dance floor, getting-ready rooms, and all the linens (including doubling up on the tables). On top of that, they handle the entire setup and breakdown for you. Their flexibility was unmatched. When I needed to add a full buffet to my welcome party just 1–2 weeks before, they made it happen. They also graciously worked with me on last-minute changes to my reception guest list. Speaking of food, they have some of the BEST food I have ever had! The quality, freshness, and flavors were so good. I honestly cannot wait to go back and eat there again. I am so thankful that they have a restaurant, because we can go back and enjoy their food every time we want to relive our wedding. The venue itself is naturally gorgeous, so all you really need to do is complement it. All of my guests had a blast, and I felt so little stress. Absolutely NOTHING went wrong on the wedding day, which is incredibly rare in this industry, and I attribute that entirely to Ruby and Lia. I’ve never heard of a venue or vendor team that makes everything so seamless. I had so many guests coming to me after saying it was the best wedding they had ever been to, including our pastor! So much of that was because of Hotel Northampton. Thank you so much to Ruby, Lia, and the rest of the Hotel Northampton crew. If I could get married 50 times over, I would choose them every single time. You will not regret booking with them, it was truly one of the best experiences of my life. This link is the video my DJ made of the recepetion space before everyone came in. Just come insight on my GORGEOUS everything is.

“The now "annual" Stissing House Craft Feast has made holiday shopping fun, festive, inspiring and very low stress. From the minute you step into their signature green door, you feel transformed to another time. And suddenly the only reason to have a cell phone is to take photos of every incredibly gorgeous vignette. You have no choice but to be present and to indulge the senses as you take each step through the maze of decorated display and historic architecture. Carolers, trays of wonderful treats and smells and smiles all made for the most perfect and unique experience. The event was so seamless organized and curated. Hats off to Clare and Katie and the team!!! A personal thank you to them for the endless hours that it took to bring this amazing community event to our valley for all of us to enjoy. You made my Christmas season (yet again!).”

“We had our wedding reception at Pine Ridge Farms and what a magical and unforgettable experience we had! You can see the Catskill Mountains from the property and the views are breathtaking. The owner, Ms. Gioja was truly wonderful and she made the planning process seamless for us. Which was so important, because it was my first time and she was patient and so very accommodating. It was apparent that she wanted the bride to be happy!!! She was an absolute blessing to us and her team as well! Being able to celebrate with our family and friends at a place that added such beauty and magic was what I wanted! I always say to Ms. Gioja that her place makes you feel at peace, being away from the business of this world and to be surrounded by sounds of nature. What a feeling?! Thank you for taking the time to read my review and if you're thinking about having your event at Pine Ridge Farms, you will not regret it!!!”

“Our wedding day at the Inn on Boltwood was an amazing experience! We cannot praise the staff enough. Catherine and Maddie were extremely helpful, responsive, and organized throughout the whole wedding planning process, which took a year. They clearly know what they’re doing and their worksheets and check-ins helped us feel on-track without having a “cookie-cutter” wedding. The food is excellent, and guests have given us a lot of positive feedback (the ravioli in particular was a hit). We customized a few dishes on the menu to include more Vietnamese options, and the Chef knocked it out of the park. On the day of the wedding, the staff were so proactive. When it started drizzling during our cocktail hour, we came back from taking pictures to find all of our guests and decorations dry under the tent, and everything was set up beautifully. I would recommend this venue without hesitation to anyone looking to get married in Western Massachusetts — the pricing is transparent, the venue has multiple beautiful spots for pictures, the location is charming, and our guests had a wonderful time.”

“My wife & I had the privilege to get married surrounded by our friends & family at the beautiful Montague Retreat Center in June of 2024. There’s a seemingly endless list of what drew us to MRC, but some key features to highlight: - Incredibly beautiful indoor & outdoor spaces - Comfortable, spacious, and accessible on-site lodging options - Flexible weekend buyout, enabling us to bring all of our ideas to life without much restriction or hurdles - Wheelhouse Catering: some of the best wedding food we’ve ever tasted in our lives - All of Montague staff, especially Jason Jason deserves his own dedicated review, but from the planning stages all the way through until the end of our weekend, Jason made himself available and ready to help. Jason referred several our vendors that made our day go off without a hitch, all of whom brought creative and personal touches that made our day so special. He consistently went above and beyond day of as well, from catching decorations that needed to be put out, to being hands-on assisting guests that needed extra help, and facilitating vendors to ensure everything was in its right place. His knowledge and general presence brought a calming energy that really helped us feel at home at MRC. For our wedding weekend (170 guests), we really took advantage of all we could at MRC. We observed first hand and heard from guests after our wedding that they felt they had plenty of space to enjoy themselves comfortably through the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and reception. With the full weekend rented, we used every square inch that the venue offered: - Friday: Portable Brick Oven Pizza in front of the Great Hall - Saturday AM: family provided breakfast buffet near the dining tent - Ceremony: Outdoor up on the ceremony ring - Cocktail Hour: Custom Poetry and plenty of activities all around the barn - Reception: Live band with stage lighting & sound; DJ later in the evening - Saturday Night: Late night fire pit & snacks for the wedding party - Sunday AM: Bagel sandwiches from Tandem Bagel in the lower level of the barn We can’t stress enough how perfect our weekend was at MRC. Montague Retreat Center will always hold a special place in our hearts, as it left a lasting impact on not only us, but our friends and family as well. At the end of our wedding weekend, many of our family members suggested that we rent out the space for a night every few years for a recurring big family bash. We may have to do just that!”

Planning a wedding in two months was challenging, but booking Diamond Mills for our wedding venue was the best decision ever! We loved working with Stephanie, Carrie, and Brianne. They are highly organized and professional. Our wedding day was truly magical! Our guests had a wonderful time! We also really appreciate how the staff working on the day of our wedding ensured that my husband and I ate well (and remembered to eat as we interacted with our guests). The food served was delicious and we loved our wedding cake! “We recently had our wedding at The Barn at Black Walnut Farm, and it was extraordinary. From the moment we first toured the venue, we knew it was the perfect place for us. Jim and Sarah have poured so much heart and craftsmanship into restoring this historic barn, preserving its rustic charm while modernizing it in all the right places.

The property itself is breathtaking, with thoughtfully designed spaces that make you feel completely immersed in nature. The rose garden and front yard provided great photo opportunities, not just for us but for all our guests.
Our ceremony in the forest site was an absolute dream. The setting created a truly magical, intimate atmosphere. It was the most picturesque backdrop for such a meaningful moment, and we can’t imagine having said our vows anywhere else.
The true gem of the property, however, is the historic house. Staying in this house was an unforgettable experience, and my family is already looking forward to returning for years to come.
The Barn at Black Walnut Farm is more than just a venue—it’s an experience and a place where memories are made. Jim and Sarah are not just venue owners; they are passionate, thoughtful hosts who truly care about every couple’s special day. We feel so honored to have celebrated our wedding here and cannot recommend it highly enough.”

About wedding venues in Lenox Dale, MA

Massachusetts offers an unparalleled backdrop for your wedding day with historic mansions in Boston's Beacon Hill, lighthouse-dotted shores of Cape Cod and rustic barns nestled in Western Massachusetts' Berkshire mountains. What Makes Massachusetts Wedding Venues So Special?

The Bay State combines distinct regional characteristics to create unique ceremony experiences for your special day. In Boston and Greater Boston you'll find historic landmarks like Boston Public Library where you can exchange vows in elegant reading rooms then celebrate with receptions offering harbor views at the Boston Harbor Hotel. Cape Cod, Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket feature oceanfront estates like Wychmere Beach Club with direct beach access and sunset ceremony opportunities that create magical memories. Western Massachusetts offers converted tobacco barns featuring original beam architecture and mountain backdrop photography locations perfect for couples seeking rustic charm.
