Chateau Douillett is a hidden gem that blends timeless elegance with romantic outdoor charm—offering couples and event hosts a truly unforgettable setting for their most meaningful celebrations. Conveniently located just minutes from downtown and easily accessible from Interstate 91, the property feels like a private escape while remaining close to everything your guests need. Set on beautifully landscaped grounds, the venue is designed to create a storybook experience. Couples can exchange vows in multiple picturesque locations, including a sunken garden with an imported marble fountain, a handcrafted marble gazebo, or an expansive front lawn perfect for tented receptions. Built in 1929 this French Provincial style was popular in the period between the two world wars and is usually reserved for families of wealth.

Day 1- Friday-rehearsal and/or welcome party for up to 30 guest, accommodations in our luxury appointed guest rooms with ensuite( baths) , use of our penthouse bridal suite, access to lower level game room with collection of vintage pinball machines,pool table, games, and slot machine. Day 2 -Wedding Day - use of grounds to host your wedding for up to 200 guests Day 3 -use of property to host breakfast /brunch for up to 30 people

    Spent months looking for venues. We are from the Springfield area and this “ hidden gem” is truly just that. I did the Bridgestone package, 5 vintage rooms, huge game room for the guys down stairs. Stunning landscape and even more wonderful hostess! We had a beautiful tented wedding under a 40x80 pole tent from Rent-A-Tent with 180 guests and hired all local vendors to create our special day! A truly stunning property and a great hospitality! You have access to all the amenities listed in our packages along with tables, both round and rectangle, white padded garden chairs, white tablecloths, and table numbers
Chateau Douillett is an outside venue,holding events from May through the end of October.
We do not have an inhouse catering or bar service team but we do have a list of preferred vendors that we have vetted for you to ensure you have the best in the business.
Yes, you can have both your ceremony and reception at the Chateau, we have several locations on the property that offer a beautiful backdrop for your ceremony.
No, it is included in our packages
No guests do not have access to the mansion but if you book our weekend wedding package or our suites you and your guest have access to select rooms in the mansion.
We can accommodate up to 200 guests on our expansive front turfed lawn. For our Micro Weddings we can accommodate up to 48 guests in our sunken garden area.
We only hold one wedding per day and often only one wedding per weekend. We are dedicated to making you and your guest feel comfortable and cared for ensuring a memorable day for all.
We will have you review our contract, sign, date, and return to us. We require a 50% deposit to hold your date, your final payment will be due 30 days prior to your event.
Yes, as long as they are insured and vetted by the owner
Yes, each wedding has a day of coordinator as well as an on-site property manager

Yes, we have an extensive list of rentals, we offer styling services for an added cost so you don’t have to worry about anything, just provide us with some inspiration photos and we will match our rentals with your vision, we can also offer you floral quotes making it easier for you to achieve your event style.
