Kellie came into the picture when I booked with DJ Signature and added on a wedding coordinator. I knew from our first zoom meeting with her and Brandon that she was the perfect match for me! I am not always the easiest to work with and a massive control freak but Kellie made giving that control over a breeze. I would email her throughout the year with little things I needed advice or help with and she would as there every step of the way. As we got closer to the wedding we had multiple 1 hour video sessions where she saw every side of me and helped keep my mind at ease. Every concern or worry I had she took the time to listen and make sure we had a plan for whatever happened. I always looked forward to our meetings as it was like two friends getting to catch up and share jokes. Part of her set up is a weekend wedding guide and seating chart. I cannot tell you how many times I changed things in this guide but Kellie never complained and always made updates in a timely manner. Not to mention she reached out to all my vendors and the owners of venue to communicate everything from contracts to arrival times. That alone lifted a huge weight off my shoulders as my anxiety started to go crazy in crunch time but Kellie made sure everything was squared away. The day before the wedding Kellie came to the venue and within 2 hours we had all the tables and decor done. We walked through the venue and made sure everything was taken care of and ready to go. We went through our rehearsal and she made it feel flawless. She had everyone in line and ready to walk at the correct times. On our actual wedding day we had Kellie and Abbie there to answer all the questions. When I say this was a BLESSING I 100% mean it. I was so overstimulated and anxious while trying to make sure things were ready to go that when someone would yell for me or ask questions, I would literally just yell for one of them and they would take care of whatever was being asked about. They both made sure when I asked for private time I was able to escape and had snacks and water. When it was time to clean up and go, Kellie literally shooed us out and said they got the clean up taken care of. Honestly, it was hard to say goodbye and there will never be enough words to thank her for making our wedding an absolute dream. “Hali was AMAZING as our day-of coordinator for our outdoor wedding at Maymont. We woke up the morning of our wedding to rain in the forecast and naturally freaked out, but Hali kept us grounded and had everything under control! She worked day-of with our vendors to move our ceremony into our reception venue, and all we had to do was inform our guests of the new plan. I cannot imagine how much work it was in such a short time period. Once we got to the venue, the rest of our wedding day was shockingly relaxing - my husband and I spent the whole wedding being in the moment together. Hali and Alyssa handled everything - and also set up the reception area beautifully! She also handled most conversations with vendors in the months leading up to our wedding. It all started close to two years ago when my daughter Madison called me to tell me she had just gotten engaged. Around two months later, she created her Pinterest board and showed it to me, and just like that... that was my queue! I was a wedding planner so I know how much work and planning a wedding takes. I called Madison and told her we would start interviewing vendors immediately. She asked if it was too soon and my answer was no! Weddings take about a year to a year and a half to plan. At the time Madison was a full-time employee and studying to get her Master's degree, so she was very limited in all of the planning, her main focus was finishing school before the wedding. Living in a different state, I depended on the internet, reviews, and calling each vendor to get a feel for how they responded to me and my views. This wedding was going to be a very organic yet elegant vegan wedding. My daughter had given me her vision and it was up to me to bring it to life. After many over-the-phone interviews, the vendors we chose were the perfect fit, the perfect DREAM TEAM! They all knew I lived in Miami and my daughter's wedding was in Virginia, so this would be a little more challenging for all of us. WEDDING PLANNER: E&E Design Company, Katie and Maegan, these two ladies are nothing short of AMAZING! They knew I was in the wedding planning business, Katie and Maegan listened, let me run through all my ideas, and then enhanced my vision and made it happen. These two ladies met with me on the day of the wedding at 10:00 AM and did not end until midnight, both of them are such hard workers. Meagan and Katie, you are always happy, positive, and helpful they are AWESOME! I appreciate you more than you know, thank you for making my daughter so happy! “Where to begin? Ok Amy and her exceptional team were the BEST DECISION my now husband and I made! Our journey began meeting Amy at an LGBT Wedding Expo because neither one of us have been to a gay wedding or knew anything about weddings, especially non-traditional weddings. Amy was so sweet, kind, and professional and reassuring with all of my questions. I interviewed 5 different wedding planners and chose Amy when I noticed the price was right and she offered so much help and assistance with everything a newlywed would need help with. Let me tell you, she lied about nothing to this date! Leading up to the wedding, 7 months until the big day, our all-inclusive venue went out of business abruptly! We had to start from the BEGINNING! I’ll never forget calling Amy panicking and feeling lost, angry, sad, mad, confused, defeated, etc. She immediately reassured me that everything would work out and she’d help us with everything. We had only a partial package with her and we were asking for services from a full package, and she reminded me that this was an emergency that we did not ask for. Amy and Abby sent over recommendations for venues, caterers, DJ’s, Cake, Photographers, Videographers, etc. and March 2026 I was one busy guy but I ran contracts through Amy and her team and they reviewed each one and gave the best advice possible without saying “You need to go with them” or just giving one option. Overall, almost everyone we went with was an option from Amy and her team based off what we wanted. Wedding Day! The fun part, our wedding was PERFECT! When I say we were not allowed to be on our phones and not a single worry in the world occurred, nothing bad was allowed to reach us at all. We had a point of contact (someone from our wedding party) to answer all questions and check on us at the hotel during hair and make-up. Amy and her team (Mandy and Emma) made the flow of our wedding work perfectly! Our officiant missed our vows section and Amy strategically was able to help fit our vows into the reception which seemed to have worked even better. Amy and her team truly were there for us every second of the wedding and most importantly gave us a second to breathe after the ceremony. Long story short, EVERYONE should have a wedding planner, but not just a wedding planner, Amy Frances wedding planning! Our day could not have been as perfect as it was without her. She has become our friend at this point. She is organized, she is a problem solver, she is understanding, she is everything when it comes to celebrating love! Besides my husband and I finding each other, we are so thankful we found Amy for our wedding!”
