With an educated photojournalist's eye and a passion for real, unscripted moments, I've had the privilege of telling the stories of over 400 couples each one entirely their own. My background in multimedia storytelling means I don't just photograph your wedding day; I preserve the feeling of it. Based in the heart of the Adirondacks, I frequently service couples throughout New York State and often venture into the picturesque landscapes of Vermont. No matter where you're planning your celebration, my dedication to capturing the unique essence of your love story shines through.

We can't say enough good things about Erin at Gallery Nine North. He was professional throughout, interacting well with other vendors and during the reception, he was almost like a fly on the wall in terms of just blending in. He arrived at the venue a couple hours early in order to scout photo opportunities. He was extremely communicative throughout the process, responding promptly and checking in periodically leading up to the wedding in order to finalize details and timelines. He was very easy to be around, was very kind (and funny) and made us feel comfortable- our families also thought highly of him. He delivered our final gallery to us within 15 days of the wedding and I would add that his pricing was very reasonable. We are extremely grateful for the photos he captured, they turned out beautifully. I will also add that he only had about 20-30 minutes of no rain, and in that short time, he was able to get a lot of amazing shots. Thanks Erin! We are so thankful you were part of our day.

Hi, I’m Sarah (she/they), a wedding photographer based in the Adirondacks of New York. I photograph weddings with care, intention, and a deep respect for the moments that matter most for couples of all identities and love stories.

Hawthorn Photography was an absolute dream to work with for our wedding! From the very first meeting, Sarah and Drew were so easy to talk to and we felt like we connected with them very quickly. They are very professional but do not make you feel pressured at all - Sarah has great ideas and really hypes you up throughout the process. Drew always found creative ways to shoot the day and Sarah was there for me every step of the way, even when I needed quick help with my dress. Sarah is so dependable and the pictures they captured showcase both of their talents and our love so well. I'd pick Hawthorn Photography for photos for every occasion and in every lifetime!

Photography for people who dread being photographed. With 15+ years specializing in camera-shy couples, I've learned that your wedding is not a generic fantasy from the interne, it's a legacy. The industry pushes couples to perform for the camera, but when you already feel awkward being photographed, that pressure can erase the real, unscripted story of your people. My approach is built for humans who hate being photographed. I create an experience that melts stiffness and anxiety so the raw, honest truth of your connection shows up and the story of everyone who matters is protected.

I had the amazing opportunity to work alongside Cass as a videographer at a backyard wedding on Lyon Mountain back in August. She was incredibly chill, so kind, and was extremely respectful of what I was trying to capture from the day too. Unprecedented to any photographer I have worked with in the past, she allowed me exclusive time with the bride and groom to get more of the movement shots I was looking for and I was able to get! Never have I ever had a photographer give me the opportunity to work one on one with the couple. Hire her for your wedding, you'll get STUNNING photos and she's a blast to work with!

Donna Marie Photo Co.
Rating: 5.0 (5 reviews)
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $4,000
  • Serves Inlet, NY

I’m Donna Marie—the introverted, hella awkward + nerdy, all about the vibes and adventure(ish) soul that you can typically find behind the camera (rather than in front of it). I'm here to serve + empower all the introverted, awkward in-front-of-the-lens, adventure(ish) couples who want to have an authentic, non-traditional wedding experience across upstate and northern New York. What matters most are the emotions you experience as your wedding day unfolds. Whether that be in a place with easy to reach epic views, or any place or location that embodies who you are. I’m your go-to gal when you decide to take control of your wedding day.

Hiring Donna was the best wedding decision we made! She's insanely talented, works at a ridiculously fast pace, and was so dialed in on the day, getting every important shot, that you'd think we had 2 photographers by looking at our gallery. As if that wasn't enough already, she's incredibly supportive of her couples by being queer-inclusive and super accommodating. She was such a hit at our wedding that two guests are already determined to hire Donna for their own weddings (copycats!).

Hi, I’m Richard, a wedding photographer based in the Hudson Valley. My passion is finding the beauty in the simplest moments and capturing them in a way that feels raw, real, and full of life. As a candid, photojournalist photographer, I’m all about ditching stiff poses to focus on the relationships, the laughs, and the genuine emotions that tell your distinct story. I aim to capture the little details and authentic moments that make your day uniquely yours.

Richard was absolutely incredible and not only a highlight, but a key part of why our day was so perfect. He was so easy to work with, kept our day peaceful and on schedule, and provided our incredible photos so quickly including many previews within 24 hours!! On the big day, he was calm and attentive, and really settled any anxious energy I was feeling. He arrived early and beyond prepared. He took all the shots I asked, and others I didn’t even know I needed. We opted into the second photographer and were so happy with the extra coverage and support we received from Mikaela! We did our vows privately and even though Richard shooting it really did feel like it was just us. Richard also was a huge help corralling family members and keeping us on schedule. He had fun with us on the dance floor and kept pictures moving so we really got to enjoy our wedding! Mikeala was also great at always rearranging my dress/train to fall perfectly for every single family portrait! We really couldn’t have done our day successfully without Richard and Mikeala! Almost more importantly, Richard’s support and organization before our wedding day was unmatched. We did engagement photos at our apartment and in Central Park that we used for our Save the Dates and I couldn’t be more thrilled with how they came out. We didn’t have a wedding planner/coordinator so Richard was instrumental in creating our timeline and then making sure everything stayed on schedule! Can’t wait to use Richard again for family photos sometime in the future!! :)

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you, Ihor. Your work is beyond photography, it’s art. Looking through our wedding photos brought us to tears. But your talent behind the lens is only part of what makes you so special. From the very beginning, you were kind, responsive, patient, and so incredibly easy to work with. You answered every text and question so quickly and with such warmth that we always felt taken care of. And on the wedding day? WOW. You were calm, focused, and full of light, even while managing our big, passionate Hispanic family with so much patience and grace (which is not an easy task ). Everyone adored you! Your eye for detail, your energy, and your professionalism made such a difference. You blended in when needed, took charge when it mattered, and made us feel completely at ease in front of the camera. You captured us, our love, our families, our joy, so effortlessly. With over 11 years of experience, she works closely with her couples from planning through the wedding day, capturing honest emotion and meaningful details. If you’re looking for a photographer who captures not just moments but *feelings*, Thalia is your girl. From the second I scrolled through her Instagram feed, I knew I needed her to document our wedding. Her documentary-style photography is pure magic...she has such a natural gift for catching those small, in-between moments that so often go unnoticed. The hand-holding, the extended hugs, the quiet happy tears - she sees it all, and I’m truly beyond grateful to have had an artist like her capture those moments for us. We booked Thalia for three different wedding events (an intimate church ceremony, our welcome party, and the wedding day itself), and let me tell you...she did her thing! She was professional, punctual, and precise, yet brought this wonderfully calm, grounding energy that I truly needed on a day full of emotions. She also took the time to ask questions and understand my (very tricky) family dynamics, making sure to prioritize what mattered most to me while still staying true to her signature style. After we booked her for the wedding, we got to plan our engagement session too. I showed up with a bag full of disco balls, confetti, champagne, and multiple outfit changes, and she RAN with it! No hesitation, no stress - just total creative freedom and fun. She made me and my husband feel so comfortable, like we could be our fullest & most authentic selves. I’ve already recommended Thalia to my closest friends and even complete strangers because EVERYONE deserves to have their love story captured by her. If you’re on the fence...book her. You’ll be endlessly grateful you did!

Hi, I'm Danielle (but you can call me Danie) I’ll let you in on a little secret—I don’t love my wedding photos. And while I loved the day, I didn’t connect with my photographer, and it shows. That’s why, as your photographer based in Massachusetts, I prioritize getting to know you as a couple and helping you feel comfortable from the first moment we connect. Because when you feel good, your photos will shine. I'll capture the moments that matter, big and small, and I'll do it in a way that's relaxed, authentic, and true to your vision.

Awarded Best of Zola
Choosing Danielle Littles Photography was truly one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. From our very first conversation, she just got it. I came to her with ideas, inspiration, and a general vibe I wanted, and she immediately took everything and ran with it in the most creative, thoughtful way. She has such a natural eye for composition and storytelling that I felt completely confident putting our memories in her hands. One of the things I appreciated most about Danielle is how comfortable she makes everyone feel. She’s warm, friendly, and genuinely fun to be around, but she’s also not afraid to step in and give clear direction when needed—because let’s be honest, most of us don’t know what to do with our hands in photos. She struck that perfect balance of keeping things relaxed while making sure everyone looked amazing. Even the people in our group who normally hate having their photo taken ended up talking about how great she was. Danielle was incredibly communicative during the entire planning process. She checked in, asked thoughtful questions, clarified timelines, and made sure we were all on the same page well before the big day. She arrived right on time with everything organized, calm, and ready to go—exactly what you want in a wedding vendor. She also shot our engagement photos, and those were equally stunning. The consistency in her quality is unreal. And the turnaround time? Absolutely incredible. I’m used to hearing that wedding photos can take months, but Danielle delivered ours so quickly that even one of my friends who works in the wedding industry commented on how impressed she was. Looking back at our photos, I’m struck by how beautifully she captured not just the big moments, but the small, emotional ones—the glances, the smiles, the gestures that made the day feel like us. I genuinely started wondering how I could plan another event just to have her photograph it. If you want a photographer who cares deeply about her work, listens to your vision, elevates it, and makes the entire experience fun and stress-free, you cannot go wrong with Danielle Littles Photography. She is a true talent and such a joy to work with.

Capturing love in every color of the rainbow, Kristen Renee Photography tells authentic wedding stories through a relaxed, documentary style. Based in Albany, New York and traveling wherever love leads, Kristen and her team focus on genuine moments rather than stiff poses. From intimate elopements to vibrant celebrations, every wedding is approached with curiosity, empathy, and a deep respect for each couple’s unique story. The goal is simple: photographs that feel real, timeless, and unmistakably you.

We worked with Kristen & Sheridan for our wedding earlier this year and are so lucky to have found them! TL;DR: From planning and day-of execution to the delivery of our wedding gallery, Kristen & Sheridan were incredible to work with. Not only were they the perfect presence for our wedding day, they captured it in such an authentic way with a stunning final product. We connected with Kristen & Sheridan the moment we met them which was important to us considering the amount of time you spend around your photographers. We did an engagement shoot prior and we not only received an incredible batch of photos, but we were able to establish a rapport that made the flow of our wedding day feel that much easier. When we had to tweak our photo schedule or change locations, they were the perfect people to help us pivot and keep things on track. And when it was time for the ceremony & reception, their discrete coverage led to incredible results that captured our day in such an incredible way. The wedding gallery they created was nothing short of amazing and we were able to see moments of friends & family we would have never seen day-of. And truly, everyone who interacted with them LOVED them. We had opted not to have a videographer and knew our photographs were going to be our primary memory of the day, and we have no notes! Kristen & Sheridan captured the perfect story of our wedding and we would recommend them to anyone!

Joe and Ashley are the best photography team out there!!! We chose them as our wedding photographers, and it was the best decision I've ever made. From start to finish, they made the process so easy - with phone calls to discuss details and answer ALL of my questions, super fast responses over email, and then seamless photo-taking on the day of! They were so fun to be around too, and made everyone feel at ease - even my now-husband, who doesn't love getting his picture taken. The photos themselves are to DIE for - we received the sneak peek on Thursday (our wedding was Sunday 5/24), and I was FLOORED. They turned out even better than I imagined, and all of our family and friends have been raving about them. We're so excited for the full gallery, which I know will be just as amazing as the preview! Thank you so so so much Joe and Ashley - we'll call you next time we need professional photos!

That magic is what I hope to capture as your photographer. It’s my job to hold those moments in time so that they don’t have to fade. You’ll forever be able to revisit the moment, see the exact way they smiled, revisit that incredible sunset, relive the memory and turn back time.

We couldn't have asked for a better photographer for our son's wedding than Jessica Yurko. Not only is she an incredibly talented professional, but she’s also a dear friend whose warmth and attention to detail made the whole experience even more special. From the very beginning, Jess and her second shooter Amanda brought so much care and enthusiasm to every moment. She took the time to truly understand our vision, capturing each intimate and candid moment with grace and precision. Her ability to blend into the background while still getting those unforgettable shots was remarkable. The photos are absolutely stunning—each one tells a beautiful story of the day, from the big, joyous moments to the small, quiet ones. Her eye for composition and lighting is unparalleled, and the results speak for themselves. We feel so grateful to have had Jess as both a friend and the photographer for such an important occasion. We had the most amazing time working with Ali! We had kind of a long engagement and we initially started working with Ali over a year and a half before our wedding to get our engagement photos done. Not only were the photos beautiful, but Ali made us feel super comfortable and at ease throughout our session. Leading up to our wedding day, Ali was amazing at coordinating the day of timeline with our coordinator and making sure that all the elements that were important to us were included so that we had enough time to capture the moments. One of my favorite things about working with Ali is her calm presence. Every time I was stressed about something in the planning process about the timeline I would talk to Ali and she would immediately make me feel at ease. She was constantly reminding me that the most important thing on my wedding day was to be present with our friends and family (and as a type A bride this was a much-needed reminder!) Ali also came to take photos at our rehearsal dinner and welcome party which was great because she got to know our families and our family dynamics before our big day which was a huge help! On the wedding day Ali and the second shooter Scottie were rockstars! They went above and beyond at every opportunity from helping the boys tie a bow tie, climbing out on my fire escape to get a crazy photo that I had in mind, moving locations at last minute, dealing with rain, helping bustle my dress, and of course capturing all the beauty of our perfect day. I will not hesitate to work with Ali and her team again! She’s amazing, a true professional, and I hope we have the chance to have her capture our big milestones in the years to come.
