“Let me start by saying that we are not the type to write reviews for anybody - good or bad - but for the sake of future individuals/couples looking to book PK and the Mighty Seven we feel obligated to say that if you are looking for a band to entertain whatever party you are hosting you MUST choose PK and the Mighty Seven. To start, Matt was incredibly communicative and responsive during the initial planning stages, promptly responding to e-mails and joining several Zoom calls leading up to our event. We had a vision for our special day and they accommodated each and every one of our requests. On the day of they arrived early and did the necessary prep work to ensure they were fully situated to provide our guests with the night of a lifetime. They took special care to accommodate our unusual first dance request, song recommendations, and the ambiance we sought to instill. We had a wide array of guests and the overwhelmingly consistent feedback we received was that the band was AMAZING. No exaggeration - the majority of our guests said they were the best band they'd ever experienced. If you are getting married or have a special event in their area you will be doing yourselves an immense disservice not to hire them to make your evening as spectacular as you want it to be.”

“John is an amazing DJ . Having him from the moment we chose him to the day of our wedding having the monthly check ins really helped make the process easier. One thing we really loved is he played all our request. He worked around our schedule, using video chat to finalize everything was great ! He has his own website accommodated to you where you can add any music you want through YouTube etc worked out well with our wide variety of genres our guests liked. We couldn't have asked for a better DJ and person to help make our day special. You will not be disappointed ! “From the moment I reached out to Johanna for a wedding makeup inquiry, she was so kind and had such good energy. I found her on Instagram through other brides who had hired her and I absolutely loved her work. Booking was easy, the contract was very straight forward, and I was so excited that she was available for our wedding! She came to my house for my trial, which was so convenient. Trial makeup was beautiful but she also knew exactly what we would change up on wedding day and was very honest and open with her thoughts and with asking for my opinion, which I appreciated so much. On wedding day, it felt like she was just one of the girls, along with her amazing assistant for our 10-person service. Her vibe, energy, and genuine appreciation for getting to do our makeup was so felt. Everyone’s makeup came out so beautifully and they were all so happy! Our group ranged from mid 20-30 year olds, 50-60 year olds, and my Nana in her 80’s - which just shows how dedicated to her craft she is and how diverse her skills are. Johanna is truly incredible at what she does and I cannot recommend her enough!!”

“We hired DJ El Sid for our August 9th, 2025 wedding, and our reception was an absolute banger. Sid is super talented and is great at reading the crowd likely because he still actively DJs at clubs which is exactly what we were looking for. He had everyone on their feet dancing from our younger crowd of friends and cousins to our older family and friends. You know it’s a good party when you have a dachshund do the limbo and the men’s ties transfer to their head haha. We got SO many compliments on the DJ from our guests! Additionally, Sid did a fantastic job with the ceremony and grand entrances and dances, and MCing. We had 2-3 planning meetings with him via Zoom before the wedding, which were super helpful to get to know each other, ask questions, and share our music tastes and wishes. Fusion function also had an app where we could upload our songs for the ceremony, cocktail hour, entrances, first dances, and reception to keep everything organized and give Sid a vibe for our music style. Our wedding was an epic party to remember thanks to DJ El Sid!”

“I discovered Kaly’s Cakes and Bakes on Instagram while searching for a vintage-style cutting cake. From the beginning, she was professional, knowledgeable, communicative, and a pleasure to work with. Her exceptional talent and attention to detail were evident throughout the process. We also appreciated her ability to deliver the cake to the venue, which made our planning much easier. Even though it was a cutting cake, we did have our closest family try some. Drew had sent me an email a few weeks before the couples wedding with the reception timeline (a first) and kept me up-to-date with any last minute changes the day of. “Yin was extremely accommodating and very personable. From the bridal trial to the actual day, I felt so beautiful. She was able to capture the look that I was going for with both a tea ceremony and wedding reception being able to have a makeup look match the essence and being able to take my hair down from an updo and have it down for the ceremony. She is very professional and her quality of work shows. Everyone at our wedding was complimenting our hair and makeup. She was able to complete my Maid of Honor, Mother’s, and me the brides hair and makeup in a timely manner the day of and travel to us with no problem.
