“We cannot recommend Tailgate Gourmet highly enough! They catered both our welcome party and our wedding reception over 4th of July weekend, and they absolutely knocked it out of the park. We actually attended their complimentary tasting before booking, and we knew right away they were the perfect fit. The food was incredible, the team was knowledgeable and welcoming, and we left feeling completely confident in our decision. For our reception, they created the most amazing summer menu — grilled lobster, pulled pork, beef kabobs, chicken kabobs, mashed potatoes, and Caesar salad — and every single item was outstanding. The lobster felt so festive for the holiday weekend, and the barbecue favorites were perfectly cooked and full of flavor. Our guests are still talking about how delicious everything was! The night before, they also handled our welcome party beautifully and set the tone for the entire weekend. We had wanted steamers (which isn’t on the regular menu) and they were able to make it happen! Everything was fresh, wonderfully presented, and executed flawlessly. Beyond the food, their team was professional, organized, and so easy to work with throughout the planning process. John was there every step of the way to answer questions and make sure the menu was exactly what we wanted. “We had our wedding at Saphire Estate in Sharon, MA, and it was everything we hoped for and more. We chose the venue because it gave us that dreamy garden-meets-New England charm that we really missed living in Florida, plus it’s right across from a beautiful lake that made for stunning scenery. From day one, the process with Saphire Event Group was seamless. Their team was responsive, organized, and so accommodating—especially with us planning everything from out of state. We couldn’t attend any in-person meetings aside from our initial visit, and they didn’t skip a beat. My parents even went to our food tasting in our place (bless them), and SEG made it all work without a hitch. We were lucky enough to be paired with Anne, our day-of coordinator and actual angel on Earth. From the very beginning, she felt like a friend—sweet, funny, genuine, and totally on my wavelength. I came into this with messy notes and scattered thoughts, and every time I talked to Anne, she brought clarity and calm. “We cannot recommend East Coast Soul (Philly International group) enough! They played our ceremony, cocktail hour, and tented reception, and they kept the energy flowing seamlessly from one moment to the next. Communication leading up to the weekend was excellent, and the band went above and beyond by learning a few special songs for us—including a cultural line dance—which they played beautifully. Our guests were on the dance floor all night and are still raving about how incredible the band was. What impressed us most was how they struck the perfect balance: the music felt like a full, professional set, yet it never overshadowed the wedding itself. The focus stayed on the dance floor and the celebration, not just the stage. The sound mixing was also spot-on: lively and energetic without being overpowering, so people could still enjoy conversation when they stepped away from the dancing. “Working with Lindsey and Jullian was an absolute JOY from beginning to end. We were planning a small, backyard queer wedding with less than 40 people. Our introduction meeting was so pleasant and professional but also very human and incredibly understanding. Our wedding was mostly DIY, but it was important to us that the photos would document our queer joy and over a decade of being together. It made us feel so much more at ease that they would provide guidance for the timing of the photos throughout the day while honoring our vision. “DJ Tay worked with us in the months leading up to the wedding to coordinate instrumental piano covers for our ceremony which turned out beautifully. We also gave him a spreadsheet with songs we definitely wanted to play, others that were maybes and a few not to. He worked off this list but there were still a lot of songs I’d hoped to play that we didn’t hear, and also a handful I hadn’t asked for - but it is what it is. He also brought some great colorful lighting and uplights for the space which really added to the vibe. Overall Taylor did a good job DJ-ing our wedding reception! (Some fun hora photos to share)”

From the first email to the last song played working with Julian was a pleasure. He was accommodating, kind and very informative. The process of picking out songs, working on the timeline and introductions was very simple and straightforward. Everything we asked for was accommodated, even our special guest singer. Brick Park really brought the fun, so talented, it was more like a concert than a typical wedding. I would highly recommend getting the DJ to spin songs while the band takes a break.
