Amazing Food!
️️️️️ We Couldn’t Have Asked for a Better Catering Team! We honestly don’t have enough words to express how grateful we are to John, Julie, and the entire Tailgate Gourmet team for being such an important part of our wedding day this past weekend. ️ From the very beginning, John and Julie made us feel like we weren’t just another wedding — they truly cared about us, our family, and making our day special. Their kindness, professionalism, attention to detail, and willingness to go above and beyond meant more to us than they probably realize. And the FOOD… absolutely incredible! Everything was so delicious, beautifully prepared, and enjoyed by everyone. Our guests are still talking about how amazing everything tasted! But what really stood out to us was how genuinely caring and wonderful John and Julie were. On a day that can be stressful and overwhelming, it meant so much to know that we could trust them to take care of everything. They helped make our wedding feel effortless, and we were able to relax, enjoy ourselves, and truly soak in every moment with the people we love. "Best wedding food EVER!"
John and his team are not just caterers, they are a whole experience. It is clear from the initial communication with Tailgate Gourmet that they are here to cook and serve you high-end, thoughtful meals AND to be a part of your wedding's atmosphere. We were sold just stepping into John's tasting kitchen; his team were there to provide not just a taste of the catering options, but the personality and level of service you could expect as part of your day. It's clear that John is a master of his craft and cares deeply about his menu offerings; he delivered diverse, delicious dishes, worked within our budget, and ensured that our guests with dietary and mobility restrictions had just as wonderful an experience as everyone else. We loved that Tailgate Gourmet is a self-contained operation, which worked perfectly for our outdoor wedding on a private property that didn't have infrastructure for a professional on-site kitchen setup. The team quickly assessed and adapted to the space we had available, and left no trace they'd even been there by the end of the night. Our guests (who are not shy about sharing feedback) let us know this was the "best wedding food EVER" and that the tenderloin and Mediterranean planked salmon were more delicious and well-prepared than any restaurant dish they've had in the past. If your priority is providing your guests with a darned good meal-- don't hesitate!

Great Day!!
John and his staff did an amazing job from set up to clean up. Very personable and friendly. Food was tremendous. This is our 2nd year using Tailgate Gourmet. Will definitely use them again.

Exceptional Service for Custom Tasting Menu
We had an incredible experience working with Tailgate Gourmet Catering for our wedding. From our first conversation, they were responsive and professional, answering all our questions with real expertise. They invited us to their Westwood kitchen for a private tasting where they created a custom menu just for us, which showed how much they cared about getting our day right. On our wedding day, their service was flawless and their culinary skills shined through in every dish our guests enjoyed. We were blown away by how seamlessly everything came together, and we'd recommend Tailgate Gourmet to any couple looking for a caterer who truly delivers.
