We had the absolute best experience with Tailgate Gourmet Catering! The very first tasting, we knew this was exactly what we were looking for for our wedding this summer. The taste testing was so much fun and really helped us feel confident in our menu choices. Every dish was packed with flavor, beautifully prepared, and you can truly tell how much care goes into the food.

John and Julie were quick responding, accommodating, and the sweetest souls during our tasting with them earlier this year. Amazing service, amazing food, and amazing people. We are looking forward to having their service at our wedding in 2027!

We recently attended a tasting with John while planning the celebration a month following our wedding. Initially, we had envisioned a simple, casual BBQ for our guests. However, after experiencing John’s cooking, we quickly realized that what he creates is anything but simple. Each dish had incredible depth of flavor and thoughtful preparation, taking familiar BBQ favorites and elevating them into something truly special. The food felt both comforting and refined—exactly the kind of meal that will make our celebration feel memorable for everyone attending. John and Julie were also wonderful to work with throughout the tasting—passionate, attentive, and clearly dedicated to his customers After tasting his food, we are even more excited for our celebration and feel so lucky that he will be preparing our celebratory meal. We can’t wait for our guests to experience it.
