Amazing People Amazing Food Amazing Service
We went for a wedding tasting today and were blown away with how amazing, kind and helpful, John and Julie were! John made us more items than we had requested and told his story behind each dish and the seasoning/cooking method. The food was absolutely amazing and I wish we could have everything on the menu at our wedding. Julie gave us the ins and outs of the timeline, options, steps by step what will happen on the wedding day, and really made us feel special. They both answered all of our questions and were very open to new ideas and modifying dishes to better fit us/our guests dietary needs. We are SO excited to have Tailgate Gourmet Catering cater our wedding in July! We HIGHLY recommend!!
Outstanding service!
We had our DIY wedding over the 4th of July weekend, 2025, and we thought what could be better than some good old fashion cook out food? Man, did John & his team at Tailgate Gourmet deliver! We got to do our tasting in the Fall of 2024 in John’s kitchen, and we were hooked. Their food was delicious, and John and Julie were so fun and personable. When they arrived the day of the wedding, they set up quickly and got right down to doling out tasty appetizers. The whole team was just excellent. Highly recommend their berry cobbler for a dessert! If you’re looking for great food, great service, and a reasonable cost, look no further than Tailgate Gourmet!
Amazing Live Catering Service
We trusted Tailgate Gourmet to cater our wedding in May, and John and his team knocked it out of the park! The food was so good we got compliments on it all night long (and for weeks afterwards)! Cooking the food live on-site made worlds of difference. They were a joy to work with, with a very easy process to design and select a menu and were very flexible with covering all dietary restrictions. The service for passed apps and the served buffet were awesome. We highly recommend tailgate gourmet for any catering need!

John & his team at Tailgate Gourmet catered our wedding reception of about 130 people. Throughout the whole planning process John was very communicative and helped us create our menu. we were able to come into the kitchen for some taste testing before solidifying our menu. He and his team are so professional and exceeded our expectations. Our guests raved about the passed hors d’oeuvres and the buffet food was incredible, not to mention was very well run! Thank you John and folks over at Tailgate Gourmet!! Would definitely recommend their service for your next event!
