The Smoke Shop BBQ is Andy Husbands’ tribute to the time-honored tradition of one of America’s oldest cuisines. Our barbecue is the result of Andy’s 20+ years on the competitive BBQ circuit combined with his nearly 30 years as one of Boston’s beloved chefs. Come see how we are changing the way people think about barbecue in the Northeast. We have many restaurant locations including: BOSTON/SEAPORT, HARVARD SQUARE/CAMBRIDGE, ASSEMBLY ROW/SOMERVILLE, METHUEN, WOBURN AND CHELMSFORD

BBQ is the cuisine of celebration. The Smoke Shop has you covered for gatherings of all sizes, corporate lunches, virtual events, individually-packaged meals, weddings, and much more. Our team will work with you to help you build the perfect menu for your event. In addition to our on-site events, we offer pickup, delivery, smoker rental, and off-site event staffing and will provide you with everything you need to make your event a success.

Sample catered weddings

We turned their sprawling backyard into summer vibes and a bright oasis - golds, purples, and yellows paired with the best BBQ. Jack and Meg had multiple passed appetizers, an oversized BBQ buffet with 4 meats and 5 sides, and a variety of dessert stations. We handled all rentals, design work and tablescapes, non alcoholic beverages, set up and break down. It was a GREAT party.

    The Smoke Shop BBQ provided excellent catering services for our clients wedding. They demonstrated great communication skills, asking all the right questions to ensure they understood our rules and preferences. The quality of their work was superb - the food was delicious and the presentation was beautiful. As a venue owner, we especially appreciated their very friendly and attentive staff.     A Million Thank You’s to Smoke Shop BBQ

    The team at The Smoke Shop BBQ is unmatched. From their efficient, friendly, and organized communication style to the top-notch, expedient, and outstanding quality of their work, we felt so supported and loved by them throughout our engagament party. They helped with all of our decorations while my fiancé and I took photos outside the venue, and also thoughtfully suggested we do a brisket cutting since we did not have a cake, which was incredibly authentic to us. We can't wait to host many more events at The Smoke Shop BBQ in the future.

    Best experience imaginable!

    The Smoke Shop BBQ was the perfect caterer for our wedding, without a doubt. From the very first meeting, their communication was timely, clear, and friendly. CJ, our coordinator, went above and beyond to make us feel like VIPs on the day of as well as throughout the planning process. On the day of, the food was absolutely stellar - incredibly delicious and thoughtfully prepared. They wowed both me (a BBQ hobbyist) and my Texan family, which isn't always an easy task. The team's professionalism and attention to detail ensured our wedding reception ran incredibly smoothly. I'd recommend The Smoke Shop BBQ in a heartbeat to anyone planning a wedding in the greater Boston area.

    GM Events Upstairs at Bow

    Engagement Party-Great Restaurant!
