About Citylux Studios
Citylux Studios
We are CityLux Studios - a husband + wife founded photography team. Boston is our home but we love to travel and can often be found in New York, Newport and Florida. We photograph a variety of portrait sessions from marriage proposals to weddings, elopements and boudoir. Sarah's passion for raw emotion + Peter's strong attention to detail blend to make an unmatched experience for each client. It's so important that we make each of our couples feel confident, comfortable and completely at ease.
Our team is small + intimate. We are professional and mature with a dash of humor. We take our small business seriously; it is how we earn a living. We sort of fell into photography after other careers. Quickly falling in love with it, we knew we wanted to make our wedding photography business the best it could be. We are always looking to grow not only our business but also enhance our skills behind the camera.

NYE Wedding Review
Where do I even begin with this team?! From the second they arrived on our wedding day, they felt less like vendors and more like part of the family. Every single person on the crew was unbelievably talented, professional, and somehow also the most fun people to have around all day. They kept the energy light, calm, and happy while still capturing every moment so beautifully. I truly don’t know how they managed to be everywhere at once — every laugh, every little candid moment, every big moment was captured perfectly. Beyond their talent, what stood out most was their vibe. Weddings can be chaotic, but they brought such a fun, positive presence that made the whole day feel even more special. My family and friends are still talking about how amazing they were! If you’re looking for a team that is insanely talented but also feels like your personal hype squad for the day, this is it. We are so beyond grateful for them and will treasure these memories forever.

City lux team went above and beyond for us. Photos and content creation was amazing and getting some teaser photos back within the week after the wedding was great!!All the little extra details didn’t go un noticed. Highly recommend! They know how to capture a vision.
Exceptional.
CityLux did an absolutely insane job with our photos. A week out from the teasers and I am still yelling about them (in the best way). Like I am going to lose my voice from screaming about how good these pics are. Choosing CityLux was the best decision I made in the wedding planning process. Our photos are unique, fun, and so so authentic at the same time. I am so so thankful.
Relaxed and Fun Experience
We had the pleasure of working with Kyra from CityLux Studios and we couldn't be happier! Taking photos can be awkward and feel very staged, but this was the complete opposite. We felt relaxed, had fun and just really spent time together being ourselves while Kyra snapped away and caught the most gorgeous pictures. I can't speak highly enough of the experience and the end results!
