Hi there! I’m Lindsey “Lensy” Michelle (she/her) – a New York City and Boston based wedding and elopement photographer specializing in non-traditional celebrations. My style is a mix of candid and directed coverage that seeks to amplify and celebrate what makes each couple unique.

I put in the time to get to know you and your partner so that I can align my coverage with what matters to you. Lensy Michelle Photography is not a "studio of photographers." I am one photographer who thinks that working closely with each of my couples matters in your overall wedding experience.

This is more than just a "classic couples session." The first step in working together is a get-to-know you video call where I learn about your story and energy as a couple so that I can build a session that illustrates your story and feels like you!

    We LOVED working with Lindsey. We planned on having her as our wedding photographer at our big family wedding, and when we decided to add a small, private ceremony with just immediate family and grandparents, she totally made it work to be there too. The photos she took are the best photos we've ever had taken of the two of us -- we didn't think it was possible to both look that good in a photo at the same time. Lindsey was fun to work with and made the whole process super easy by being up front about everything from day one. We keep looking back at the photos and the energy of the day really comes through, which is exactly what we were hoping for. Also, I would give 6 stars for clarity of communication if I could. Thank you Lindsey!!

    We hired Lindsey for a Cape Cod wedding in late September and had a wonderful experience working with her (and her second photographer, Jullian). She brought so much warmth and enthusiasm to the planning process and made it a breeze. It felt like she really cared about getting to know us as people and understanding our goals and dreams. On the day itself, she was professional, flexible, and accommodating, but also super high-energy. Throughout it all, she seemed genuinely excited for us — and somehow, also, she and Jullian were seemingly everywhere at once, getting photos of everything and everyone. She told us her style was to be part of the party, and she really was — so many friends afterwards told me how fun it was to be photographed by her! A look through Lindsey’s portfolio will show you that her photos are stunning, personal, and unique to each couple — and that certainly felt true for us. We’re so thrilled with Lindsey’s photos and really feel like they capture what made our day special. Lindsey was also super respectful around questions of gender and identity throughout the process and during the wedding itself — inclusivity was a priority for us, and it’s clear that it’s a priority for Lindsey, too. Highly recommend working with Lindsey.

    Lindsey is a wonderful engagement and wedding photographer. She is reliable, kind, enthusiastic, and most importantly extremely talented. She has a beautiful eye for light and composition and was able to capture absolutely stunning photographs during both our engagement shoot and our wedding. She takes a variety of styles of photographs, from more traditional couples’ portraits to more experimental approaches. A few of our wedding photos truly resemble Renaissance paintings with gorgeous elements of chiaroscuro. We also appreciate that she presents her subjects naturally and seeks to showcase individual personalities. During our reception, she and her wonderful second photographer, Ash, were out on the dance floor, engaging guests and dancing themselves as they captured vibrant images that are full of life. So many of our guests have remarked on their energy and great personalities, and several have asked for Lindsey’s contact information because they were so impressed by her professionalism and obvious skill. You can tell that she loves photography, and that joy really comes through in the photos. You really cannot go wrong booking her for any big event.

    Words can’t even describe my gratitude towards Lindsey! From our first call to the actual wedding day, everything was perfect and full of laughter. My husband and I decided to have a surprise elopement. Lindsey made sure that everything went smoothly and knew exactly where to take pictures and guided us throughout the process to make sure the pictures came out natural and truly us. We usually don’t like taking pictures, but Lindsey made us feel so amazing and comfortable!! We were able to keep the elopement just us three because she was able to sign our marriage license, so no need for any additional people. Overall a day that I will never forget and Lindsey was one of the main reasons for that!!
