For over a decade I have been able to work with some of the best in the beauty industry during my time at MAC Cosmetics & as a freelance artist, which has helped me perfect my craft. Not only as a Makeup Artist, but also as a licensed Esthetician- making women feel beautiful in the skin they are in, especially for their big day, has always been my top priority!

I’ve had the absolute pleasure of working with so many wonderful brides and bridal parties - and have been lucky to form friendships with many of them. I love making connections that last beyond the special day, and look forward to meeting & creating friendships with more brides in the future!

    I cannot say enough good things about Joanna!! From the very beginning, she was incredibly kind, communicative, and genuinely so excited to do my makeup. She made me feel absolutely beautiful on my wedding day, and by the end it felt like I’d known her forever. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience!! Highly highly recommend!!

    Johanna was amazing to work with, her communication was timely and pleasant throughout the entire process. The quality of her work was truly breathtaking - Johanna is incredibly talented. She made sure my glam was exactly what I wanted, and without hesitation changed anything I wasn't fully satisfied with until it was perfect.     I truly can’t imagine my wedding day without Johanna. She was fun, easy-going, and so professional from start to finish. She made the whole getting-ready process feel relaxed and enjoyable, and my makeup turned out absolutely perfect. I felt like an elevated version of myself. Her work is unmatched, and she has such a gift for making you look and feel your best. I can’t recommend her enough!

    I love Johanna! I found Johanna through a friend of a friend, and I am so lucky that I did. I am incredibly picky when it comes to my own makeup- I have small eyes that close when I smile, and very thin eyebrows, so liner or shadow in the wrong spot can really overwhelm my features. The same makeup that looks great on my friends just doesn't on me, so I was very nervous when looking for a makeup artist for my wedding. I was even considering doing my own makeup and hiring someone for my bridesmaids only. From the moment I reached out to Johanna through email, she was so incredibly kind and professional - you can hear her kindness through her emails alone. For my trial, she came to me and my maid of honor, and it felt like we had all been friends forever. We had an absolute blast talking as she did my makeup, and when it was done, I was so stunned by how much I loved it. I was fully prepared to be disappointed (not by Johanna, but by how particular I am), and I had the complete opposite reaction. She made me feel so beautiful - I was SO EXCITED to take pictures. Let me tell you, that makeup did not BUDGE. It stayed on ALL DAY AND ALL NIGHT...and I am still just talking about my trial. For my wedding - she was incredible: flexible when the number of girls shifted a few times. She was thoughtful and gave me info I wouldn't have even thought of beforehand to plan. She arrived early, and honestly even helped me figure my overall day-of timeline! I can't say enough good things about Johanna, but what I do know is, I have a makeup artist and friend for life!
