I understand that planning a wedding or special event can be hectic; therefore I've made my services as easy and convenient as possible. As a qualified professional I guarantee to be attentive to all of your needs. I am a licensed Cosmetologist as well as Certified makeup artist. I stay up to date with the latest techniques and trends.

Sophia is amazing! From the initial e-mail consultation, to the trial and day-of, her communication was strong, responsive, and very accommodating to any changes. She has a kind, friendly, and positive vibe that puts you at ease. Every one had such beautiful, natural-looking hair and makeup that highlighted our features and made us feel confident and radiant. I highly recommend Hair and Makeup by Sophia!

Hair and Makeup by Sophia was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding day. From the very first consultation, Sophia demonstrated a detail-oriented, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable approach. She listened closely to my vision and made helpful suggestions to ensure I looked and felt my absolute best. The quality of her and her team member Hilary work for my bridesmaids and I was truly impressive. Our hair and makeup were perfect throughout the long day, staying in place and looking elegant in every photo. Sophia even worked closely with my photographer to capture some really cool, creative shots during the getting ready process, which made that part of the day so fun and memorable. I couldn't recommend Hair and Makeup by Sophia more highly ! They are a 10/10 best hair and makeup artist around!

I had an absolutely fabulous experience working with Sophia for hair and makeup for my wedding on August 3rd, 2025. I don't normally wear a lot of makeup, but during my trial, Sophia did an excellent job working with my inspiration photos and talking with me about my vision to come up with a look that felt natural and still 'myself' , while still being elevated and giving me the coverage I needed for the big day. She was supportive and easy to communicate with throughout the entire process. She was professional and prepared, and she even showed up early on the day of my wedding, helping to keep us on schedule for the busy morning. My mother, mother-in-law, and bridal party members who also got their hair and makeup done with Sophia LOVED their looks, and they all commented on how nice Sophia was to chat with during their services. I can't recommend Sophia enough for bridal hair and makeup!

I used Hair and Makeup by Sophia for our July 2025 wedding. Simply put - Sophia is the best. She is professional, prepared, organized, communicative, and talented. Most importantly, Sophia is an expert at making everyone in her chair feel comfortable, taken care of, and like a friend. Sophia exceeded everyone’s expectations, and every person who left her chair felt confident and happy. From the moment she arrived to the bridal suite to the moment she left, Sophia was a happy, bright energy in the room. My makeup stayed PERFECT into the wee hours of the morning, even though it was warm that day! I feel so lucky to have met Sophia, and I can’t recommend her enough for bridal hair and makeup.
