    Maekalah Makeup made me feel so beautiful and confident on my wedding day even when I had an eye injury! After informing Maekalah that I got an injury on my cornea from getting eyelash extensions from a Lash Tech in Boston, she let me know that everything will be okay and that her first priority is making me feel safe and comfortable. On my wedding day, she came in prepared to do my makeup look from my wedding trial with her but flexible to change based on my comfort given my eye injury. When I got a look in the mirror of my final look, I was blown away with how she accentuated all of my natural facial features while still feeling like I had a minimal makeup look! I felt the most beautiful I had ever felt and during the entire makeup process she made sure I felt comfortable and walked me through all that she was doing. I couldn’t have asked for a better MUA! To this day, my husband asks me to wear my wedding makeup when we go on dates :) Thank you Maekalah!

    I cannot write enough words to say how amazing and talentled Maekalah is! First, getting my makeup done for my engagement photos with her was so fun, we talked the entire time and it was such an enjoyable experience. I have a darker complexion and she didn’t even hesitate to pull out products that matched my skin perfectly. She used warm tones without me mentioning I like warmer tones on my skin. My eyes are hooded and have eczema which can make them difficult to work with but I swear she made my eyes bigger and there wasn’t a single piece of dry skin. She not only can do simple “no makeup” looks but also full on glam. I won’t stop recommending Maekalah with each client she gets better and better. I can’t wait to have her continue doing my makeup for my bridal shower and wedding!
