No. We don't expect you to know exactly how many people at your time of booking. We understand that number can be different as the date gets closer. At the time of booking the only requirement is to have an estimate of who you are anticipating services for and that it meets our minimum.

We understand that things can change, and we are happy to roll with changes. If you have a party member back out of services, you are welcome to replace that person with someone else.

Yes. In order to provide on-site services to you on your wedding day we do charge a fee for us to travel. The fee is calculated as $25 for every 30 minutes of travel. Example: if the venue is 45 minutes away, 1 hour and 30 minutes round trip the travel fee would be $75. This covers our set up, break down and any tolls that should be on our route to you. **Parking is not included in this charge should it be applicable**

No, I do not require brides to book a trial. I do however recommend it. Booking a trial gives me the opportunity to determine if your inspiration is a practical expectation on the hair you have. It provides the time to acquire extensions or book a smoothing treatment if its recommended. Our makeup artist may also make suggestions at this time for skin prep leading up to the wedding to ensure a smooth and flawless makeup application. A trial also gives you a chance to see in real life what your hair and makeup will look like on you and if it is what you envisioned. We can make adjustments at this time to ensure a smooth service the day of.

We require a signed contract and a deposit in order to book your date. Deposits are equal to the cost of services for the bride the day of the wedding and will go towards the balance the day of.

Yes, We have a minimum of 5 people receiving each service in order to travel to you onsite.

Gretchen was an absolute lifesaver for my wedding and I genuinely cannot recommend her enough!! My original hair and makeup situation fell through only THREE weeks before the wedding, which was incredibly stressful, and Gretchen stepped in and somehow made everything feel completely manageable! She even helped connect me with a new makeup artist, Antonia, who ended up doing mine and all of the bridesmaids’ makeup, so we were able to pull everything together at the last minute, all thanks to her! Beyond being incredibly talented, Gretchen was just so easy to be around. She made everyone feel comfortable, was so cool and down to earth, and honestly felt more like having another friend there than just a vendor! She also went way beyond hair and makeup services. At one point no one could figure out how to tie my husband’s bow tie, and Gretchen stepped in and literally saved the day That pretty much sums her up! She was helpful, calm, fun, and willing to jump in wherever she was needed! Everyone looked amazing, I felt beautiful, and I’m so grateful she was part of our wedding day. If you’re looking for someone talented, reliable, kind, and exactly the type of person you want around you on a wedding morning, book Gretchen! She absolutely killed it!!

Bridal Party Hair & Makeup
We hired Hair to Slay Weddings to do hair and makeup for me and my entire bridal party, and we couldn't have been happier with our choice. On the day of the wedding, they showed up ready to work and got everyone done on time without rushing through anything. Their styles looked polished and held up beautifully throughout the whole celebration. What really stood out was how they made each of us feel comfortable and confident, cracking jokes and keeping the energy light while we got ready. I'd definitely recommend Hair to Slay Weddings to any bride looking for a team that's skilled, reliable, and genuinely fun to be around.

Hair & Makeup to SLAY!!
My wedding morning with Hair to Slay was a 6 star experience!! Gretchen is a professional powerhouse; she is organized, timely, and respectful, and I want to give her an extra shout-out for doing the hair of 8 women while having a sore shoulder!! She listened to what I wanted but also gave suggestions - my trial was slightly different (pictured first); Gretchen was super accommodating when I wanted to make some changes on wedding day, and it turned out exactly how I wanted! Britt was also professional and fun to work with for makeup. While I was not used to airbrush makeup, it looked absolutely flawless! She was able to shade match me and all my girls, and the makeup stayed on all night. I highly recommend Hair to Slay!!

Great getting ready team️
They did a fantastic job helping 9 of us get ready on my wedding day! They were organized, quick without feeling rushed, and very fun to get ready with! I felt so beautiful and my hair and makeup lasted all day.
