As a live wedding painter in Boston, MA that serves the Boston area, RI, CT, NH, VT, and ME, I offer couples the opportunity to capture the happiest day of their lives in an original piece of art. During the reception, I paint live as entertainment for guests, and present the completed painting to the couple to bring home with the rest of their gifts.

My impressionist painting style captures not only the likeness of the couple of their beautiful venue, but the emotions of the moment. Having a masterpiece that you can treasure for decades to come is a unique and memorable gift.

    Beautiful work!

    From the very beginning, Michaela was incredibly easy to reach and very communicative, ensuring we were always on the same page about the vision for the custom painting she would create. The final product was truly stunning, with a level of artistic flair that exceeded our expectations - she uses the painting in her other material showing her level of care for a simple wedding painting. Michaela took the time to meticulously ensure every detail was perfect, even going so far as to make sure the sky in the painting matched the exact color we wanted. Michaela’s commitment to quality work really shone through and made this a special keepsake we'll cherish forever. Let’s chat! I want to hear your vision for the paintings, sizes, and more. I will send you sketch drafts of what your painting could look like. We’ll brainstorm together so that you’ll be confident in what to expect the day of the wedding.
I’ll work with your venue and your planner on where to set up, and begin painting the background during the cocktail hour. While I do my best to work from life, there are some poses I will need photos for! I’ll take photo references and use those as I paint live during the reception. I work with your photographer to make sure any reference photos I take our out of their way.
This is where the fun begins! I’ll paint during the reception, and you and your guests are free to interact with me and watch me work. Once the painting is done, I’ll find you during the reception for the big reveal. You can take the painting home with the rest of your gifts.
It takes me an average of 2.5-5.5 hours to create the live wedding painting, start to finish. Once the painting is done, I will come find you for the big reveal.
On rare occasions, I have done additional updates to the painting in my studio. I will work with you to make sure it's everything you're looking for before returning the painting back to you.
