My work focuses on the feeling of the moment! I want each illustration to feel sentimental and personal, like a memory you can hold. There is no use of templates in the process, making each illustration unique and personal.

    A Huge Hit with Our Guests!

    Candace was one of the best additions to our wedding, and I cannot recommend her enough. From the moment guests realized there was a live illustrator at the reception, they were absolutely obsessed. It was such a fun surprise, and everyone loved watching their portraits come to life throughout the night. Seeing people’s reactions when they received their illustrations was honestly one of my favorite parts of the day. I even found myself delivering a few portraits just so I could watch their faces light up. Before the wedding, Candace created a portrait of Chris and me that she displayed at her table as an example, which was such a thoughtful touch and gave guests a preview of her incredible talent. Every portrait she created was beautiful, and I still can’t get over how quickly she was able to capture people while making each illustration feel special and unique. Although we didn’t get much time to chat with her during the wedding, it was obvious how attentive and professional she was. She took wonderful care of our guests and made sure as many people as possible received their portraits. She’s also mailing us any portraits that weren’t picked up or weren’t completed before the end of the night, which means our guests will still get to enjoy them and we’ll be able to include them with thank-you cards. A live illustrator is such a unique wedding favor, and Candace absolutely knocked it out of the park. The portraits were stunning, the experience was unforgettable, and it quickly became one of the most talked-about parts of our wedding. Everyone thought it was the coolest thing, and I couldn’t agree more. It was truly one of the highlights of our wedding day. If you’re considering booking Candace, do it. Your guests will love it, you’ll love it, and you’ll be talking about it long after the wedding is over.

    We had Candace at our event and she was amazing. Her drawings are so creative! She is easy to communicate with and a very efficient artist. Everyone loved her at my event. My dog ended up shredding the picture she had done of my husband and I and Candace sent me a new one! If you are looking to add a little extra to your special day, I highly recommend Candace!

During your wedding, guests are invited to stop by my illustration table for a quick photo. I then use that photo to draw from reference, so guests are free to enjoy the celebration while I draw, though they’re always welcome to watch the process. Each portrait is hand-drawn live and takes just a few minutes to complete, and guests receive their illustration during the event as a keepsake.
Guests receive a 4×6 hand-drawn illustration, packaged in a protective sleeve.
Every piece is hand-illustrated in alcohol marker and ink, giving it a fun, expressive look.
To book me for your event you just have to reach out to me via email with your wedding date. I may ask a few clarification questions back. At this time, I do ask for a $100 deposit to hold your date!
Each illustration usually takes about 7–10 minutes. I work quickly to capture the energy, expression, and personality of the moment, so you get a lively, detailed piece without slowing down your event. Every drawing is created in real time, keeping the experience fun and engaging for everyone watching.
