Hi, I’m Maura Gorman, owner and head creator at Dainty Scripts! I started the business in 2019 after years of making custom signs, paintings, and gifts for family and friends. With my degree background in fine art painting from MassArt and my experience as an art teacher, I wanted to create a business that spreads joy through personalized art. As a previous 2022 bride who was featured in Boston Magazine, I know how important you big day is.

The Dainty Scripts team paints live guest portraits on-site during your event. Starting during cocktail hour, the team blends seamlessly into the celebration—offering guests an experience that's both interactive and heartwarming. Each custom illustration is painted with care, giving your guests a lasting reminder of your special day. A perfect twist on event favors and added entertainment your guests will love. Service includes a 8x10 illustration of the wedding couple and 5x7 illustrations of your guests. We also offer custom signage upon request!

Maura and her team from Dainty Scripts were absolutely wonderful! My mom surprised us by hiring them, and it was one of the most memorable parts of our wedding. I really wanted to have them at my wedding so I was glad my mom booked them! Maura and her team were delightful to work with—so kind, talented, and engaging with our guests. Everyone loved watching them paint, and our guests went home with the most beautiful keepsakes. Even the venue staff couldn’t stop talking about how amazing they were!

Maura and her team at Dainty Scripts were simply amazing! Booking was seamless, organized, and communication was easy throughout the entire process. The Dainty Scripts team was phenomenal to work with! They were so kind and accommodating. They are responsive and clear in all their correspondence. Everything was so easy - we didn’t have to worry about a single thing. On top of that, their artwork is absolutely beautiful and was so special for all our guests. Each painting was so beautiful and represented our guests perfectly. We received so many compliments! I would absolutely recommend working with Maura and her team!

Dainty Scripts was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding! All communication with their team was clear, and they were so sweet and attentive throughout the entire process. Family members and friends are still raving about the custom paintings they created for us - it was such a hit with guests of all ages, much more appreciated than a typical wedding favor. The ladies brought great energy and truly helped make our day so special by capturing my husband and I perfectly in their artwork.
