JNG Event Consulting
Rating: 5.0 (5 reviews)
  • Serves Quincy, MA

JNG Event Consulting is a floral and event design firm that services a select number of weddings, and events each year. We are as selective with our clients as they are with their vendors. Nearly all of our clients work with a full-service event planner, are referred to us by a venue coordinator, to a client who has worked with us. Often times we are asked by prospective clients if they need to be working with an event planner, or a venue coordinator, in order to engage our design services, and the answer is, “Yes.” We find that the process of designing an event is much more seamless when an event planner, or coordinator, is present.

I love working with Jimmy Guzman from JNG Consulting! We have worked closely on several beautiful events. Jimmy listens to what the client and I envision. He works collaboratively with us on a design that reflects the client's taste and style. He is open to design ideas that come from our team but has so many wonderfully creative visions that he brings to the table to guide the process. He presents his design elements in a cohesive and professional manner. When the day of the event arrives his execution is magical! The JNG team delivers a beautifully designed and well executed product. I can't wait until my next project with JNG Consulting!

Angela did an absolutely amazing job with the flowers for our small wedding! She created the most beautiful centerpieces and my dream bridal bouquet—exactly what I had envisioned. I wanted something with deep red, wine-toned roses that felt a little grand but still romantic, and she completely nailed it. The bouquet was perfect! For my smaller celebration, Angela also put together centerpiece and few small bouquets, and everything looked stunning. Davis & Sawin Florist
Rating: 5.0 (1 review)
  • Starts at $300
  • Serves Quincy, MA

Passion blooms at our flower shop, where every petal is curated with love. As a dedicated florist, I infuse your special day with enchanting arrangements, creating a floral symphony that mirrors your unique love story. Let us weave the fragrant tapestry of your wedding day, where passion meets petals in perfect harmony.

I hired Davis and Sawin for my wedding in September. My mother in law and I met with Inshaal early on in the process and we knew immediately that she was our florist. I am not a colorful person and much prefer more muted tones and monochromatic coloring. Inshaal never made me feel like I had to stray from that. She offered suggestions and presented me with many options. She asked me questions I hadn't thought of before (and absolutely should have). She tidied up all of my lose strings and made me feel like I had at least one aspect of the wedding totally handled and organized. Our ceremony and reception looked beautiful thanks to Davis and Sawin. My bouquet was that of a dream. Inshaal made sure that my floral vision was executed perfectly. Thank you Davis & Sawin Florist for making my wedding perfect!

Fleur Events
Rating: 5.0 (1 review)
  • Serves Quincy, MA

I come from a fine art background and bring this education to every project we take on. We want to be inspired by you, your sense of style, and your particular love story. With this as a starting point we create one of a kind designs that you and your guests will always remember.

Molly and her team at Fleur are incredible. We found her through our wedding planner and we are so glad! Molly listened to what we wanted which was to see unusual flowers that aren’t normally part of wedding decor, lots of greenery, little to no white, and lots of eccentric, asymmetrical shapes. She used her creativity to translate our vision into reality. She suggested the addition of fruit and nuts to make the tables have the vibe of a renaissance still life, and utilized Fleur’s extensive stock of accessory items to create a beautiful floral arch, and intersperse mismatched vintage candelabras and tea lights (all flameless) throughout the venue. We got beautiful florals from Fleur, but really it was more than that - it was a whole artistic installation of natural, vintage, and vintage inspired decor. I wanted mismatched bridesmaid bouquets and something really unusual for my bridal bouquet, and Molly was happy to talk through my vision. The bridesmaids bouquets turned out gorgeously, and my bouquet was so cool! The groomsmen and family member’s corsages and boutonnières turned out fantastically. Molly was delightful to work with and flexible - she was not phased by a couple of changes we made in the last few months. The result Molly produced was absolutely stunning. We got many, many compliments at our wedding regarding the florals and decor. People were taking pictures of the flowers to reference them for their own future events. There were many moments where I just stopped to take in the beautiful florals around me. It made our wedding feel like a magical secret garden. I strongly recommend Molly and Fleur for any events you want florals for, from big to small.

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

We decided to do our own wedding flowers to save money, and Flower Moxie made the whole process feel simple and stress-free. Their team got back to us right away whenever we had questions, and they walked us through everything we needed to know. The how-to videos they provided were clear and easy to follow, which gave us the confidence to actually pull it off. On the day of our wedding, our arrangements turned out beautiful and our guests had no idea we made them ourselves. If you're thinking about DIY flowers but are nervous about it, Flower Moxie is the way to go. We saved a ton of money and felt so proud of what we created.

Poppy Flowers
Rating: 4.5 (79 reviews)
  • Starts at $1,750
  • Serves Quincy, MA

Poppy is a full-service wedding florist with one mission: give every couple stunning floral design without the luxury-tier price tag. We design, source, and deliver your flowers from first consultation to final installation. As featured in Martha Stewart Weddings, The Today Show, Fortune, and Goop. Planning your wedding flowers should feel exciting, not overwhelming. If you've been gathering inspiration and wondering whether your budget can actually bring that vision to life — it can. That's exactly what we do.

Awarded Best of Zola
I was so overwhelmed when I first started looking for florists for our wedding. There are so many options, and I didn’t even know where to start until I found Poppy. They break down the process and steps, making it super easy, almost to the point that it doesn’t feel real. To start, you meet with a floral consultant where you talk through your wedding details, the vibe you’re going for, the general needs, etc. Then they walk you through a list of various wedding floral options: bouquets, table arrangements, signage florals, ceremony florals, etc., and you start to narrow down what you want. In each section, they have a grouping of photos, and you can either select something from that or ask for more options. You can also tweak what they have shown (I picked florals that had eucalyptus in them and requested everything be switched to ruscus). After that, you have a while to go back in and adjust until a deadline, but they accommodated some last-minute adds I had as well. Our consultant was Sophia, and she was super responsive and wonderful to work with. Closer to the wedding, you get assigned a local florist who does the actual designing/styling and installing, and we were lucky enough to get Ron, who matched our inspo images EXACTLY. Everything was so beautiful, and I was so in love with my bouquet. He was also incredibly nice and set everything up so quickly. If you’re looking for something to make the whole floral selection easy, simple, and beautiful (also super transparent with costs), definitely go with Poppy!!

I was so grateful to have found Jen while going through our flower-picking-process. We got a quote for real flowers to start and it was way out of our budget. When we started looking for 'fake' flowers, I knew I wanted them to look as real as possible. I must have looked at 10 different vendors across CT and MA, and as soon as I saw Wood & Word Blooms website I was sold! Her bouquets are one of a kind, each and every piece was perfect for our wedding. She was so supportive and helpful in the color picking process, I changed my mind a few times but she never batted an eye. She got us to the finish line and we couldn't be happier. If you're on the fence, just go with Jen!

On our planning call, she was detailed, prepared, and took great feedback to provide me with a thoughtful mood board. Wedding planning can be extremely stressful and Emily was so supportive and calming when I brought up venue related stress points with her. Emily is a true problem solver and worked so hard to make me happy with a solution to an uncontrollable venue related issue. I can’t thank Emily enough for her partnership and beautiful florals that truly set the tone for my wedding!!
