Hey friends! I'm Jess - the owner, creator, artist and photographer behind Coral Compass Photo Co.! I have been in the wedding industry for eight years, experiencing each wedding differently with a fresh new vision, as no two wedding days are ever the same. I am based just north of New Hampshire's seacoast and travel nationally for events! I believe in genuine moments, authentic portraits and letting your awkward shine!! I can't wait to connect xo

I don't want to be that person who shows up as a stranger on a wedding day. I work hard to foster my relationships with my clients so that they feel onehundred percent comfortable with the person who spends an incredible amount of time with them both leading up to, and on, the wedding day. From our first email, to the engagement session, to the wedding prep, wedding day and well after... I want my couples to look back and remember a positive experience! There's nothing worse than a photographer that leaves a sour taste in a persons mouth from the forced interaction. That's just not what I'm about!

    Beautiful Fall Wedding Photos

    Jess - we are speechless. She is incredibly talented, so fun, so kind. She was punctual (early) on our wedding day and she and her second shooter went straight to work. They kept us laughing and smiling all day, and allowed us space for all the emotions you feel on wedding day. Her encouragement from behind the camera made it easy to capture the most beautiful shots. She effectively directed our wedding party and family members for photos - and even wrangled a few overtired toddlers for a nice shot! We were so comfortable with her all day. Communicating with her before the wedding was seamless - she sent a survey and followed our shot list so we have every photo we wanted. AND we had the privilege of working with Jess three times - our engagement photos, our bridal shower, and our wedding. We cannot wait to continue our relationship with Jess in the future. She is an incredibly caring, compassionate, and charismatic human and an amazing photographer. Thank you Jess!

    AMAZING, start to finish!

    Jess was phenomenal from the very first moment! She made our engagement shoot feel so effortless. She's super talented and professional. She really takes the time to get to know her clients and set up shots perfectly. Jess gives great tips for weddings and posing for photos, too! She directed everyone on our wedding day and the quality and quantity of photographs was impressive. I had peace of mind because I knew that Jess had it all under control. We just chose the photos for our album, and it was so difficult because there were too many awesome choices! So glad we get to keep them all. Thank you so, so much, Jess! We couldn't have found a better photographer.

    The best experience!

    We hired Jess as our wedding photographer and could not have chosen better! She was so great to work with--super organized, responsive and just made everything so much fun. In the past I had never thought of myself as very photogenic, but Jess captured photos of my partner and me that I will cherish forever. We are so, so glad that we chose to work with Jess and cannot recommend her enough.

    If I could give 100 stars I would. My wife and I hit the photographer jackpot when picking Jess for our wedding. Jess is amazing in every way. She was kind, helpful, and on point from start to finish. She will be the first person I recommend to anyone in need of a photographer and I will 100% be returning to her in the future for any other special moments I need captured!

    Amazing!!!

    I could not recommend Jess at Coral Compass any more highly! Not only are her photographs bright and beautiful, she's also fun and makes everyone feel so confident in front of the camera. She went above and beyond for our wedding in February of 2021. Due to COVID, we were forced to cancel with our venue just three weeks before and find a new ceremony site. Jess was so flexible, she helped us create our timeline for the day and directed our guests the day of! I honestly could not imagine our wedding day without her. 10/10 would recommend! I can't wait to hire her back for our full reception in 2022!! :)

Due to my limited number of weddings accepted each year, couples book me about 18-24 months before their wedding date in order to secure my services. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.
Sometimes! Depending on the size of your wedding and the layout of the day, I may bring an assistant and no additional cost to you. I work with 3 dedicated second photographers for continuity and consistency in my work and style.
Definitely. All final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they are consistent with my portfolio. Light editing, including small blemish removal and teeth whitening are included. We do not provide excessive photoshopping.
While I only offer photography services at this time, I do have a list of videographers I love working with who I can highly recommend if you think you want to add video to your event!
I offer a 10 image sneak peek within 48 hours after the wedding to social media, with a bigger highlight of the day posted to my blog. All final images are edited and delivered within 8 weeks after the wedding.
You can expect about 75 - 100 images per hour of photographing. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and many other factors.
I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.
In my 8 years of experience as a wedding photographer, I’ve never cancelled a booking. In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my colleagues. I am included in a large network of photographers who I can reach out to in the very unlikely chance I am not available.
